2019 Moscow Victory Day Parade + May Holidays…

The 2019 Moscow Victory Day Parade is a forthcoming military parade that will occur in and on The Red Square in Moscow, 9th of May, 2019….to honor the 74th year commemoration of the laying down of arms in 1945 by the Nazi Germans. It is by far the biggest of the considerable number of the parades planned to be given on this day in Russia and many of the numerous previous republics of the Soviet Union also have parades…

You know it is happening just by the fact that they paint the trees…

Russians don’t even and or hardly notice that the trees get painted. It just is the way it is and has been all their lives. I asked Sveta, “What holiday? The trees are painted!”

Sveta said, “Huh?” Then after thinking she said, “Must be May Holidays!”

Since painting the trees is from my ancient days in America, I take interest that Russia, once a year paints the trees (except the white birches) and it is always for the “May Holidays”….plus since I walk a bunch, I see the changes happen on my walking route…

Guess what?

The May Holidays are coming…
