A Typical Sunday in Russia…

Sveta and I like to walk on Sundays. We walk to the Globus and eat at the cafe there. They have an unbelievable array of food and it is very cheap. The bottom left picture is the food we bought. The rest of the pictures are from the top left – Boza the very nosy dog and he always sticks his nose in the way. So I took a picture of that nose before we started to walk and he was happy. Then the next picture is a kids fair grounds that has opened in full swing. It is spring and the people are out. But if you look around you will see that there is snow, snow and more snow. As the next picture shows…

Next row bottom, starts with the cafe food and then next to it is a utility building that is painted all up. I have hundreds of pictures of these utility buildings and in Moscow many of them are painted with wonderful pictures and scenes. Last picture is our movie theater that is near us. I see that Iron Man 3 is coming soon and I will try to finagle Sveta into going to see a bang bang shoot them up movie. Maybe I will take her to see something she wants first and then she will tolerate my movie… 🙂

Time to get on to something else and I just thought that you might like to see what it look like around my part of the world. It does not look a whole lot different (Well except snow!) does it? And by golly the people are just like you. Does that surprise you?

Shouldn’t…
