Biplane Russian Skywards…

Everyday somewhere between 40 to 50 times a day, a single biplane transverses the sky. It is different in color and style, but it is always a biplane. Now we are located on a jet flight path, but they are way up in the sky and these biplanes are sometimes just above our heads…

You can hear them coming before you see them, kinda the opposite of the jets. The image below is at full optical zoom of my camera (18x) and I am starting to wish for a higher zoom camera…

This is a very busy small aircraft flight zone and so far, I never have seen anything but biplanes and once, one triplane. They all seem to be work planes and I would image they carry cargo and people and such. They are also all in very good shape and as you can see from the photo, that is norm for the planes…

This is just another reason I love this village…
