Finally fenced the Bell Tower top…

In what only took three years or so, they finally put guard fences at the top of the bell tower. With thousands of people, including kids many times, who went to the top. Nothing was there to keep a young-um and or old-um from taking a swan dive…

I also watched with apprehension when Father Pavel would go to the top in a snow storm and ring the bell. Wood floors get slick and I do not think that Father Pavel can fly if he slips off the top… 🙁

Other words, I am very glad to see safety rails installed (yes, on all four sides) to keep people from taking the short way to the ground…

Fly like a bird…. is for the birds, not humans…. Metaphorically speaking we can fly within our soul and fly with aids of technology…. but physically speaking we can’t flap our arms fast enough to keep from smacking the ground…. Ouch…

Have a nice day…
