Rare thing(s) happened… TRV

Actually two rare things happened…

First, Boza and I got up at 1 a.m. and walked twice. Boza had doggy things to do and it was almost -20. Windy and cold, made it hard for a doggy to do his things. But he did and then him and I went back to bed. It was cold outside, warm inside and I decided for once to just sleep. I needed it and even if I am groggy now, I obviously needed the extra sleep. The cold is zapping my body and I was busy yesterday…

Second, I wake up and the sun is shining. The sky is clear and it is seriously cold and crisp. But then I heard some guys talking as I stood outside feeding the birdbrains and investigated!

Two guys are shoveling the mountain. They work for the monastery and keep the church area cleared and cleaned. they have a UAZ 4×4 van and found that even they could not get up the hill. The drifts are 3 to 4 feet deep for a hundred meters and they have to get the road cleared to get to the church…
