The bell tower and other village tidbits…

This morning a new load of beams was delivered to the Ukrainians working on the bell tower. They have installed new beams in two complete floors of the bell tower and they are working on the third today. They have used all the bricks lying around and have rebuilt walls all over the place inside the bell tower. They are three-quarters of the way to the top and it looks like roofing will start before long, for I am sure they want to get a roof on it before winter to keep the new floors from being ruined…

For those who have followed the old bell tower all these years, they will see a huge difference up through the middle of the tower. It will not be long and we will most likely be locked out of this tower, once the gates go up and the floors and roof are finished. Then they can start the outside rehabilitation…

The last two pictures are our food truck that comes on Friday. It is a family affair and everyone comes out to buy and play. They have everything from tomato juice, fresh bread and milk. It is a great time for everyone and it allows you to see who all is in the village, otherwise everyone stays to themselves most of the time…

Have a nice day for I have bunches to do and need to get going… 🙂
