Time to Start Thinking About the Village: Sunrise to Freedom…

The Village River...

I just cannot help it! It is time to start thinking about the village! I get so home sick for the country life after a long hard Winter and the cure for that is a few weeks in our village…

Sunrise to Freedom the Russian Village...

The second picture is the front of the village that we have a home at and in fact our home is in the picture. I have a lot to do to the village this year and I really need to spend at least two months there…

So it look like it is time to get my brain in gear and make a trip to a home supply store and get all the materials that I need to spend two months working on the village home. If you remember we still have some fencing left to do and I need to chalk and paint the village home…

Main Byway to Village...

Da, I miss the Village and looking at these photos just makes me want to get going. I hope no one else has died over the Winter because there is not many left at the village as it is now. Maybe 6 people…

I think Sveta wonders if I am nuts sometimes but I really want to live in the village for the rest of my life, how ever long that will be. It has electricity and a good well for water, what more could you want? I have a desire this year to plant a garden and actually wish to get some chickens and maybe a goat, but that is just wishful thinking. If I can get two months there and finish the fence and paint the home then I will have accomplished miracles…

Sunrise to Freedom the Russian Village is really a blessing to me. It is so beautiful and freedom is what it is all about! I wish that I had the money to restore the old bell tower. It is one of the most incredible works of architects that I have seen. You can see it in the second picture and I have many pictures on the blog about it. It needs to be rebuilt and made into a monument or something.

I wish…

How about this:

Star light, star bright,
The first star I see tonight;
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight.
