West hates Russia, South Stream Dead…

Turkey-Approves-South-Stream-Offshore-Pipeline

The main stream western news is showing how bad the West wants Russia destroyed and the western politicians are all gung-ho, driving the car with no steering wheel…

Coffee-iconDays ago Russia announced that Turkey would get a new pipeline, A new huge pipeline that will give Turkey all the fuel that she needs for future development. This is what Turkey has been wanting and waiting for patiently in the sidelines. The wait paid off…

I said two weeks ago, “South Stream is dead and died by EU hands!”

Today Russia announces that South Stream is dead. While Russia has waited patiently also for the EU to hang themselves and let Russia off the hook to build a pipeline that Russia would never own, due to new laws made by the EU for this specific purpose. A law that did not allow Gazprom to own the pipeline that they built with their money…

South Stream Died by EU hands, hands that hate Russia so much that they say, “Ukraine is a reliable transit partner for Europe” and South Stream is not needed… 🙂

Now that is an interesting concept and idea. I guess it shows how stupid, mundane, and pathetically USA owned the EU is…

NABUCCO the EU desired pipeline died a death many years ago. It went through Turkey, but had no gas. Now Turkey will get the gas and you watch as the NABUCCO (or similar) is built and flows Russian gas to Europe. This is why the EU desired pipeline was not built, besides no money. Years ago the EU begged Russia to supply gas for the NABUCCO, because nothing else is and was available…

Putin speaks about South Stream…

Russia has played this well and the second that the EU hung themselves, Russia made a move and the EU never saw it coming, for there is noway that Russia could and or can trust the west. The writing is on the wall and Russia knows how to read…

Now NABUCCO has to be built and built by Europe. Now no one else will carry the financing of a 40 billion dollar pipeline. Just Europe and Europe is flat busted, broke, and pathetic in its moral structure…

Once again, win for Russia and lose for EU…

“It is nakedly clear that Bulgaria will get no compensation for the suspension of the South Stream project and will find itself in the position of the loser. We must say “Thank you!” to Boyko Borisov (Bulgarian prime minister), who has over the past five years managed to suspend all three major infrastructure projects in Bulgaria, which could have drawn tremendous investments into the country and yielded major economic benefits,” Bulgaria’s former economics and energy minister, Rumen Ovcharov, has told TASS. “Turkey will now enjoy all economic benefits. As for us, theoretically speaking we may build an inter-system connector from Turkey to bring Russian gas to Bulgaria. I can see no extra opportunities for more talks. Russia has already displayed great patience,” Ovcharov believes.

Bulgaria’s former ambassador to Russia, Iliyan Vasilev, told the Bulgarian national television in an interview the Russian initiative may spark anti-European sentiment in Bulgaria.

Bulgarian officials have refrained from any comments on this “hot subject” so far. The government’s press-service has promised to make an official statement over the termination of the South Stream project later on Tuesday.

    Losses to Europe

The ending of the South Stream project would mean huge losses for countries across Europe.

For Bulgaria, this would mean €400 million in lost transit fees, Russian President Putin said on Monday.

The share in the country’s €40 billion GDP to come from South Stream was expected to be 1.5 percent, according to Bulgarian Economic Ministry.

Direct investment was supposed to be around €3 billion creating around 2,500 new jobs. The Northern parts of the country, through which the main pipeline route would be laid, were expected to have significantly improved social infrastructure and become more attractive to investment.

The European Commission is impeding the South Stream pipeline construction; however Serbia is interested in the project, the president of the Serbian Gas Association Vojislav Vuletic said Tuesday.

The gas association head thinks the EU is only hurting itself. “It turns out that the problems are created by bureaucrats from the European Commission, while the real participants of South Stream are very interested in the implementation,” he said.

Vuletic also pointed out the project’s importance for Serbia, as it would provide construction jobs, not to mention jobs operating the pipeline itself, and the income the country would get from transit. He confirmed that the closure of the project would seriously damage the Serbian economy.
