Staple Food Prices at the store in the big Russian Village…

Since all this sanction bull has been going on, I have been watching what is available and not available for food items…

I have been pricing items as I pick them up and today was staple day, you know those items that are the bases for making food dishes and meals. Items such as milk, bread, salt, sugar, eggs and such. Staples…

Today I bought bread, eggs and chicken. I bought more items, but I will talk about these three items for price today…

Bread was 22 rubles and last week it was 24 rubles and the week before it was 28 rubles…

Eggs were 28 rubles per 10 eggs. Last week they were 33 rubles and the week before they were 38 rubles…

Last item is chicken (Russian chicken only,) it cost 79 rubles a kilo, last week 89 rubles and the week before 109 rubles…

Everything I buy is getting cheaper by the week and it makes me happy to see that. The shelves are almost empty of foreign products and a slew of Russian products have taken their place. It is interesting to me as to why Russia would have hurt themselves in the first place by bringing all the expensive and worthless stuff from the western countries in the first place. Russian quality is great, price is great and 90% of the time quantity is vastly more in comparison to western products…

I see nothing but good for Russia, in this food sanction that they did against the west…

I say keep it up and let the Russian producers have the time to fill the gap and never, but never take away the sales from the Russians producers and suppliers again…
