Svetochka went to the Opera last night…

Svetochka wanted to go do something she had not done since she was 14 years old…

Go to an Opera…. The link above is to the opera she went to last night and I am so glad she went. She said it was very good and she enjoyed it. It was four hours long though, that caught her off guard, but she stayed the whole time…

Below is some images she sent the next day, so I added them to this post…

She had to buy dinner at the opera and she ate, as in Russian tradition, a salmon бутерброд (buterbrod), a half sandwich, no top bread, most likely just one piece of bread and salmon and most likely a hot tea. This is a meal for Russians and considered a fine meal at that… Now you see why Russians are much skinnier than Americans…

Russia: What Is A Sandwich?

I am glad she went and glad she had a good time. I could not have gone even if I was in Moscow, for the time involved would have put Boza’s eyes into serious stress, due to lack of medicine. Just can not do that and will not do that…

Have a nice day…
