❗️ Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on Russia’s withdrawal of ratification of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty , previously adopted by the State Duma.
The document comes into force from today.
“ The withdrawal of ratification was a mirror response to the actions of the United States, which had not ratified this document for 23 years. The decision was made solely in the interests of our country and our citizens ,” said Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin .
