PS: What I left out of this news assortment is the fact that the Russian media is slamming America right now. I find it interesting as we come up on 9-11 in America. I then realized that America messed up big time because Russia was the first to extend a helping hand over 9-11. Putin was the first official in the world to call about the tragedy. There was a beautiful monument that was made for America and it was shoved aside like a bad egg. Lots of things happened and it was all in the face of a Russia that offered and opened arms. The USA missed the opportunity of a lifetime to really do a reset over the 9-11 tragedy and then many years later faked a reset. Russians have woke up to the American way of playing games and it is starting to show…

In the modern world the media are not the key opinion-makers anymore –Russia’s President Dmitry Medvedev stated at the Yaroslavl Global Policy Forum 2011. He noted that before a couple of channels, papers and radio stations were enough to form a public opinion but now millions of Internet-users shape the leading info trends.

“Today everyone can be a news-maker changing the world”, Medvedev said noting that new media technology made the world diverse and complex and taught people to respect alternative views.

Believe it or not, this was taken with a camera phone. My LG phone is a lousy phone but a great camera… 🙂

The lake in front is almost dry and since it is going on Winter it will stay dry. They will put no new fish in until next Spring. As you see the village is on a mound and is the high spot for many kilometers. Hence we can see forever on a clear day. It seems that I can not get enough shots of this view of the village and I am trying to get a shot from all seasons. I have Spring, Summer and Fall now. Winter will be hard because the snow gets deep…

I want to have our Volga converted to a 4 wheel drive. The process is not that hard because almost all parts are interchangeable amongst the Gaz family of vehicles. Then we will take a trek to the village in the Winter…

I can see why the monks originally built a church and a monastery there. It truly is Gods place and when I am not there I dream of living there the rest of my life. Working the land to raise food, having several goats, maybe a cow and chickens for food and milk…

I was floored a few days ago when I found out that one of the homes in the village was sold for 30,000 rubles ($1000 dollars). It made me think back to 50 acres I bought in Missouri once, years and years ago at $81 dollars an acre. $4000 dollars for some of the most beautiful land in the world…

We have to get back down to the village before the snow flies and finish the fence. This weekend coming up we will get all of our supplies in order to make the trip in a few weeks. Time is flying

God has blessed me and I am not afraid to say that. Sveta is the most wonderful loving woman I have ever met and I hope to survive many years to enjoy my life with her in Russia…

Today I decided that since I have fought a long battle now against a Democracy that wants to shut down Windows to Russia, literally. I would do some thinking’s over a cup of chicory about democracy…

First off what is democracy? Lets use this one and just click the link and you will find a whole page to read…

Democracy: Form of government, where a constitution guarantees basic personal and political rights, fair and free elections, and independent courts of law.

My personal understanding of “Democracy is government of, for and by the people”. In a democracy the people not only are to make the decisions but the decision of “The Majority” are to be fully carried out. Therefore, in my opinion, on the entire face of the earth, there is no such government…. not even in America, Canada, etc, etc, etc…

In fact I do not see fair and free elections. I do not see independent courts of law anywhere in the world. No matter how independent you think it is, someone is pulling the strings somewhere and it is not “we the people”. Judges are bought off everyday in the world. Judges have bosses and they dictate the rules. Even if you don’t see the dictation. Laws are changed and corrupted everyday. To allow people to get away with murder literally. I really laugh when someone tells me that America is “Rule of Law!” I also laugh when I see someone say that you are “Innocent Until Proven Guilty!” That is not true in America anymore. What is true, is to be tried by the media before you get to court…

I have thought about, is the will of the people ever carried out by a government? I mean any government under any political agenda? I see a big answer of, NO! I see a big racket being played in the world. Just as it has been played all through history. Nothing changes…

I realized here recently that “Democracy” is a “War Cry” today, just like in the past with the holy wars, in the name of God…

Sounds kinda like today, except we are screaming the word “democracy” as we have military campaigns against the Middle east. If you ever look around you will see that your “Christian Church” is dancing to the tune of these wars in modern times. I have even seen pictures with Jesus and he has a weapon in his hands… 🙁

I once had a minister look at me and say,”Thank you for your service to our country. You are to be blessed because you have kept us free!”

Okay, Free from what? People trying to kill me because I was on their land in their country and killing their people? Free from people that could care less about us and it would stay that way if we kept our noses clean…

Also I remember the war cry called “Communism”! That is the holy war of my time…

Cow manure stinks but it smells like roses compared to the stuff the West spreads around the world…

PS: In the next few days 5000+ people will read this article and just maybe, just maybe, one person will do some thinking. Grab a cup of coffee, tea or chicory and contemplate what is happening to the world…

Just a small poll done by Moscow News. Nothing that people will write home to momma about, but it is what I hear out and about on the streets in Moscow. This was done before the confirming news about France. I would imagine if this poll was done now instead of almost a month ago. You would see more like 75% for key resources. Remember France was promised 35% share in the oil in Libya and that is a fact. France can deny all they want, but oil is the name of the game…

The main mass media refused to acknowledge this little tidbit of news. Which means without a doubt that it is true. Silence from the main mass media means only one thing. They got caught off guard by the news and just chose to ignore the truth. Kinda like what they did to Ron Paul in America and are still doing to Ron Paul in America…

When school starts in Russia as it did the beginning of September. Moscow changes from a summer city with whispers of children’s voices to a winter city that is full of the squeals and delights of children’s voices. In Moscow any parent that can get their child to a dacha or village and keep them there for the summer, they do it. It is considered good for the child and always there is at least one parent staying with the child. It is not a dump the kid program so that mom and dad can have fun. It is really a serious thing in Russia to get your kids to spend time in the country. Kids need to plant flowers and vegetables. They need to care for chicken, goats and cows. It is part of growing up in Russia…

So the start of summer is called Last Bell and the end of summer is First Bell. That is what I hear all the time around Moscow. If you hear someone proclaim first bell, then you realize that summer is almost over. Same for last bell, it means summer starts…

This is my Que as to what the roads will be like in Moscow. Summer is definitely a whole bunch easier to get around and find parking in Moscow. As compared to now after the first bell, the city is a blanket of cars on every sidewalk and grass spot… 🙂

It is also nice to see that all kids have a dress code. School in Russia is not the place to wear jeans and t-shirt. The boys have a dark colored suit, many times and or at least dress pants and a white shirt and tie. The girls wear dark dresses and or sometimes they are a grey/brown plaid type dress material with a white blouse. It is nice to see kids not walking home from school with their pants dragging the ground and t-shirts that say derogatory remarks about someone or something…

When I grew up we use to call it the same thing (First Bell/Last Bell) out in the country. I remember one day when I was little, I realized that it just made sense, because all day long you hear school bells going off at school. Bell for school to start, to end a class and end the day. So Fist Bell and Last Bell just made sense…

My favorite was the real bell that the teacher would ring by pulling a rope on the bell mounted on a pole…

Stock-holders of the South Stream gas pipeline project will sign an agreement on the 16th of September, 2011. The project stipulates laying a gas pipeline across the Black Sea from Russia to the countries of Central and South Europe. The first stage is to be put into operation in December 2015, and running the South Stream pipeline at full capacity is expected in 2018…

The South Stream project is part of the bypass of Transit countries for gas to Europe. The Nord Stream gas pipeline which travels under the Baltic Sea flowed gas this Tuesday, in a trial run to check out technical issues. The Nord Stream just like the South Stream when finished, will provide deliveries of Russian gas to the EU bypassing all other former transit countries…

I have a saying: “When the going gets tough, the tough get going!” well actually Joseph P. Kennedy had that saying also. But I heard it from my football couch a hundred times or more…

Russia decided to bypass, pain in the ass transit countries for gas. Lets hope Europe can finally get some Winter peace and not freeze because a transit country decides to play political Russian Roulette…

Putin said the launch of the Nord Stream would deprive Ukraine of its exclusive gas transit rights.

“Ukraine is our old and traditional partner. As any transit country it has the temptation to benefit from its transit position. Now this exclusive right is disappearing. Our relations will become more civilized,” Putin told journalists.

That kinda brought to mind a civilized, such as in dueling with pistols in the past?
