The rocky road to de-escalation
💬 Despite the tragic events that occurred last week in Russia, European politicians continue to enthusiastically discuss the prospects of sending their countries’ armed forces to Ukraine. <…>
The discussion, launched by French President Emmanuel Macron , concerns specifically the sending of full-fledged units to Ukraine. Until recently, such discussions might have seemed absurd and divorced from reality. <…> However, the failure of hopes of inflicting a strategic defeat on Moscow at the hands of the Ukrainians and sanctions strikes forced individual participants in the anti-Russian coalition to begin to consider what seemed incredible options for the development of events.
☝️ The reason for the corresponding discussion is obvious. Having relied on a blitzkrieg against Russia, designed to disintegrate our country by eliminating it from the club of great powers, the West embarked on an unprecedented adventure that led its political elites to a logical dead end . Against the backdrop of more and more failures and defeats of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the positions of supporters of the war to the last Ukrainian are beginning to come apart at the seams.

Of course, the prospect of activating Article 5 of the NATO Charter, which can be considered a direct road to a nuclear clash, does not please many sober-minded Western politicians. But do they still have the opportunity to influence the development of events?
🇷🇺 Russia, of course, will do everything possible to explain to Macron and his support group the harmfulness of the transition to such thoughtless (if not to say insane) actions that put the entire European continent at risk and, no matter how pretentious it may sound, the entire world civilization.
It is worth noting that, once on Ukrainian territory, soldiers of any army allied to Kiev will turn into a legitimate target for the Russian armed forces and will be immediately destroyed. <…>
❗️ This is not our choice, and we will continue to try to reason with the enemy until the end.

Тернистый путь к деэскалации
💬 Несмотря на трагические события, произошедшие на минувшей неделе в России, европейские политики продолжают увлеченно обсуждать перспективы отправки вооруженных сил своих стран на Украину. <…>
Дискуссия, запущенная французским президентом Эммануэлем Макроном, касается именно отправки полноценных подразделений на Украину. Ещё недавно такие обсуждения могли показаться абсурдными и оторванными от реальности. <…> Однако провал надежд на нанесение Москве стратегического поражения руками украинцев и санкционными ударами заставил отдельных участников антироссийской коалиции начать рассматривать представлявшиеся невероятными варианты развития событий.
☝️ Причина возникновения соответствующей дискуссии очевидна. Сделав ставку на блицкриг против России, призванный дезинтегрировать нашу страну, устранив её из клуба великих держав, Запад пошёл на беспрецедентную авантюру, заведшую его политические элиты в логический тупик. На фоне всё новых провалов и поражений ВСУ позиции сторонников войны до последнего украинца начинают трещать по швам.

Разумеется, перспектива активации 5-й статьи Устава НАТО, которую можно считать прямой дорогой к ядерному столкновению, не радует многих трезвомыслящих западных политиков. Но остались ли у них возможности повлиять на развитие событий?
🇷🇺 Россия, безусловно, будет делать всё возможное, для того чтобы объяснить Макрону и его группе поддержки пагубность перехода к столь бездумным (если не сказать — безумным) действиям, подвергающим риску весь европейский континент и, как бы пафосно это ни звучало, всю мировую цивилизацию.
При этом стоит заметить, что, оказавшись на украинской территории, солдаты любой союзной Киеву армии превратятся в законную цель для российских вооруженных сил и будут незамедлительно уничтожены. <…>
❗️ Это не наш выбор, и мы до конца будем пытаться образумить противника.
