I have been patient for awhile now as I have watched my new hosting for over 6 months. As you know Windows to Russia has fought a huge battle against censorship and attacks based off the web interface. Windows to Russia was literally destroyed by government agencies in America as they pounded me day in and day out with Dos attacks to bring the site to a stand still…
It worked and Windows to Russia was set back years in advancement in rankings. Google wanted nothing to do with it due to constant attacks from DHS, TSA and many other government computers, many of these computers were located in guard stations at big government complexes. I have many articles on these attacks and these attacks did their number, to a very good blog that had reached a huge world wide audience…
So after trying a variety of ways to save the sight, I finally settled on a hosting company that I found by pure luck. A hosting company that understands what is happening in the world and is not part of the Western Empire desire for domination and freedom removal…

The 1984 Hosting Company was established in 2006 by a couple of free software and civil rights enthusiasts. We have since grown to become Iceland’s biggest web hosting company by far. It is essential that the jurisdiction that the company operates in is Iceland, where the IMMI legislation is forthcoming, making Iceland a haven for freedom of the press and freedom of expression in general.
2. Green, sustainable geothermal and hydro power energy. 1984 commits to a environmentally responsible business practices by utilizing only electricity from renewable energy sources and placing emphasis on reaching the highest possible energy utilization efficiency levels. This is achievable in Iceland, because all electricity production meets the aforementioned criteria and the cold climate makes PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) very high, meaning that for each watt used to run servers, storage and network equipment, proportionally very little is used for cooling, lighting and other overhead.
3. Free software is software that gives you the user the freedom to share, study and modify it. It’s not about price it is called free software because the user is free. 1984 values the freedom and transparency that Free Software offers, as well as the excellent security and reliability track record that the Free Software model offers. 1984 commits to using Free Software wherever possible. They have had growing pains due to serious attacks by American interests and they have learned to survive, just as I learned to survive. They block hate before it gets to us on their servers and hence at times, we miss traffic. I would rather miss that traffic than have what I had to deal with as the DHS tried to ram a big one up my backside for years on end. Shame on America…
Windows to Russia is now growing again and has reached the levels that it obtained several years ago. I am proud of that and the growth has come from the world as a whole and not from the USA as is most normal for websites. Windows to Russia was virtually dead in the water and I almost gave up on keeping it going. Sveta has stood by me and told me that Windows to Russia is the greatest thing and never give up on your hearts wishes…
Sveta is right and hence since 2007 Windows to Russia is still going strong…
But in the end, it was all in my favor…
I found a hosting company that had already fought huge battles of survival against the American attack machine and they named their hosting site titled: “1984 – Big brother is watching you!”
Now that sums it up in a nutshell and I can only support people in this world now that have decided to say, “enough is enough…”
That is my new motto and I say “Enough is Enough!”
We are being stepped on left and right and we have a right to live a life of peace. If you do not believe that we deserve and have rights, freedoms and liberties!
