“Ei incumbit probatio qui dicit, non qui negat” is a Latin phrase which means “the burden of the proof lies upon him who affirms, not him who denies”.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, article 11, states: “Everyone charged with a penal offense has the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law in a public trial at which he has had all the guarantees necessary for his defense.”.

But in absence of any evidence of actual facts, we screwed Russia at the Winter Olympics 2018…

“Why yes! I am bought and paid for….thus I make stupid statements about justice. Yes I am a lawyer…”

Court of Arbitration for Sport Secretary General Matthieu Reeb said…

“The duty of the IOC (International Olympic Committee) was to show that the athletes involved in this case were guilty of an anti-doping rule violation. The fact that you cannot establish the evidence of guilt does not mean that you have established the innocence of the athletes,”

and

“The fact that they were not able to show the guilt of an athlete does not mean that the athlete has nothing to do at all with the case, and is totally innocent,” Reeb said, calling it a “logical consequence.”

“There’s nothing bad about it,” he added.

Therefore, by the standards I hear from Sport Secretary General Matthieu Reeb, I would expect any and all Olympic Teams in the world, should be suspended immediately…

For every country has doping cheats and thus no one, due to Reeb’s statement, “The fact that you cannot establish the evidence of guilt does not mean that you have established the innocence of the athletes” has a right to be in the Olympics this year…

Sounds harsh?

It is and would be ignorant to impose upon the world. Then why is it all hunky-dory to impose it upon innocent athletes from Russia?

Remember; You are innocent until proven guilty You are guilty until you supply the burden of proof to clear yourself. That is against all accusations, whether those accusations have substance or not…

They screwed Russia over, “Just because they can!”

“We [this loose cannon of a nation] dumped 20 million gallons of toxic herbicide on Vietnam from the air, just to make the shooting easier without all those trees, an insane plan to win ‘hearts and minds’ that has left about a million still disabled from defects and disease – including about 100,000 children, even decades later, little kids with misshapen heads, webbed hands and fused eyelids writhing on cots, our real American legacy, well out of view, of course.”

This mass murder led to the deaths of between 1.5 million and 3.8 million people, according to the Washington Post. More bombs were dropped on Vietnam than were unleashed during the entire conflict in World War II. While this was going on, this same country was also secretly bombing Laos and Cambodia, too, where there are over 80 million unexploded bombs still killing people to this day.

North Korea cannot win for losing. Either the press is hating to “death do they part” North Korea and South Korea and or love it to the point of fanaticism…

I say, “Leave both North and South Korea alone and let them work things out!” and “Enjoy life!”

I am thinking…

In the last few months Boza almost died a hundred times. He finally gave up, but he really never suffered, not in a bad way. Physically Boza was still in very good shape. He just suffered from a tumor in the brain and it took his life finally after almost twelve years…

It ended up that it was a tumor that stole his sight and gave him seizures. We except that and that is that…

Little boy was tough and dies in Svetochka’s arms…

God does work in good ways and he died the best way for us….Yes I could get mad and whine about how it was not fair, but Boza reached almost twelve years old and he was loved the whole time. He was found at a gas station outside of Moscow and he stole Sveta’s heart. I did not want him, for I knew that doggies had a short life and it hurts when they leave. But never would I have known at that time that he would steal my heart more than any of the dozens of dogs I have raised and seen die…

Now Boza is free from all that was and I wish to think that he is now in a better place. This is my last tribute to him and I am now getting my life back. It feels good, yet it feels bad at the same time. My blood pressure has stabilized, my sugar levels have stabilized again and I am walking kilometers again a day, just for Boza. I promised him that I would walk and walk and walk…

I had to adjust my life and funnel my energy into him. Now I have it back and feel great. Sad in heart, but I will walk and walk, for nothing was more important to Boza’s daily life than his walks…

He taught me how to stay alive myself and for that I owe him to continue my multiple daily walks and I owe it to myself to stay healthy. Svetochka needs me and she needs me doing what I do best. I will start and finish my books I have almost finished and had to put on hiatus. Boza needed my energy to survive with a life as close to normal as possible. I knew this and took a back seat for about two years…

Bless his heart! Now Boza is free from that nasty tumor and free from pain…

Thank you God and enjoy our doggy. He is a fine boy and always believed in peace and harmony, not war and hate…

Boza was a good doggy and he taught Svetochka and I many things about life. I think he taught us, because we listened, watched and interacted. Boza was not just a noise maker to guard against intruders. Boza was family and amiable doggy owners understand that…

We want to thank those who sent RIP E-mails to Boza and we even got several pictures of their animals they share their home with. One in particular made me smile. Cats and computers are an interesting combination…

I personally had a rough day yesterday….but this morning, I feel better. The shock of his passing has tempered and I, after thinking, understand that it all is for the better. Boza was almost 12 years old. (Average dog death age.)

Three winters ago, Boza and I spent the most magical winter in “The Tiny Russian Village”. This winter was the last winter that Boza had at full strength and Boza and I tripped the lights fantastic…

Boza had four good walks yesterday, he had eaten three times and he pranced and danced on his last day on earth…

For six months I knew what Sveta, who has only had one doggy in her life, would come and come sooner than we want it to. I warned her, but she never understood, until yesterday what I was talking about…

Doggies are a bit of heaven that come into your life and change the way that you see life…

I will continue to walk, for it is for my health and Boza would want me to continue our walks. He saw life as a bowl of cherries and even those damn pits, could not get in the way. Everyday was a new experience and he barged head on into whatever was there to see and do…

I have to sort out what changes this will bring:

For a year now, I have had to adjust my life to help a little guy have the best of the rest of his life he could have. I chewed his food for him, I carried him when he would get sick and I held him for hours as he struggled with the debilitating issues that he had to deal with and in the same token, I never hesitated to grab the good times and allow him to live life, even as I held him up to pee and poop. I watched every step he made as he was blind, I was a seeing eye human and tried my damnedest to support him in his quest for living his life…

As long as quality of life was above the decadence of life. I was going to give him what he needed…

But, now all that is gone and now I have to concentrate on myself and Svetochka…

Svetochka is hurting, she has lost her little buddy. She has lost family and she has learned, as I have learned, many things from Boza. Svetochka said last night, “Boza taught us many things about life!” (Maybe expound on that later in life?)

Boza spared us from having him put to sleep. Boza was that kind of doggy:

He went fast and instantly. No pain, no suffering and Svetochka was holding him as he fell down. I heard his last breaths, that death rattle, and I jumped up and said, “He is dying!” Then I said, “He died!” As I grabbed him in my arms and felt his soul leave….I had brought him back several times and tried what I always have done, but I knew better…

Svetochka was stunned and it took her awhile to garner what happened in her arms…

I thanked God that she was holding him as he died. I would say he had a stroke and passed away…

So for a day or so, I will think and walk. I will clean up the Boza stuff and clean up the dog fur that has been part of our life for over ten years. It is sad to think that once I sweep up that dog fur, it will not come back, faster than I sweep it up…

If doggies go to doggy heaven and wait for their favorite owners? I know he will be there waiting for Svetochka…

He loved her and would give his life for her. I was alpha and this alpha is crying, for his buddy, a family member, has died…

Just this side of heaven
is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together…

Boza will be waiting for Svetochka and that I know as fact…
