Got My Answer…

I went to bed at 2 a.m. and got up at 5 a.m. and that was that! I am awake and at 6:30 a.m. I am writing an article. This article is from an experience this morning as I walked the dog and that experience was the answer to a question that I had asked God…

I take life seriously and I take answers that life gives me seriously. I have seen a lot of death in my lifetime, much at my own hand, I take things like killing people for no reason as stupidity and I did a lot of stupidity in my life. But life has a pattern and we all follow that pattern whether we like it or not. For we are animals, like it or not…

I walked Boza and we went to our usual spots, these spots include a trip to the bell tower and I like to watch the tower as the sun comes up. For the name of the village is translated as “Sunrise to Freedom,” this is an important time of the day…

I was looking upwards and looking at the sky and I saw an eagle. It was the male eagle of the pair that live in the forest nearby. He was circling and hunting. Waiting for the right moment to strike. He was very high off the ground and was just a little spec in the sky, then he went into a power dive…

Now to say that what happened next is important: The eagle came straight down and entered the top of the bell tower, he then flew between two wood beams and between two sets of those wood beams and plucked a big fat pigeon off of a third wood beam. Then he spiraled twisted tightly twice and shot out the arched opening that I was standing near and gawking at the whole thing at…

This all happened inside the old bell tower…

Now I have to tell you that when I saw fully extended wings of what had to be around 6 to seven feet wide, as he used his air breaks to keep from smashing into me, I hit the ground. The female is bigger than the male and I am not sure she would have fit in the doorway. But he did and I rolled over as he passed above me. Watched him lift at an impossible angle into the sky and disappear with, at that point, a very dead pigeon in his talons…

Boza was standing right next to me and he licked my face as I lay on the ground. I realized what I just witnessed first hand and I realized that I just had the answer to what I pondered all night…

Things such as what is happening in Ukraine and now a new Malaysian flight gone down. Made me ask questions and I have issues sleeping, as I strive for those answers…

My grandma would say to me in the old days, “That animal has more sense than any human! Listen to the animals when all else fails!”

I do grandma, I do…
