This the actual statement from the Russian Government…

— English translation farther down —

English translation…

The US President’s signing of the package of new sanctions against Russia will have a few consequences. First, it ends hopes for improving our relations with the new US administration. Second, it is a declaration of a full-fledged economic war on Russia. Third, the Trump administration has shown its total weakness by handing over executive power to Congress in the most humiliating way. This changes the power balance in US political circles.

What does it mean for them? The US establishment fully outwitted Trump; the President is not happy about the new sanctions, yet he could not but sign the bill. The issue of new sanctions came about, primarily, as another way to knock Trump down a peg. New steps are to come, and they will ultimately aim to remove him from power. A non-systemic player has to be removed. Meanwhile, the interests of the US business community are all but ignored, with politics chosen over a pragmatic approach. Anti-Russian hysteria has become a key part of both US foreign policy (which has occurred many times) and domestic policy (which is a novelty).

The sanctions regime has been codified and will remain in effect for decades unless a miracle happens. This legislation is going to be harsher than the Jackson-Vanik amendment as it is overarching and cannot be lifted by a special presidential order without Congress’ approval. Thus, relations between Russia and the United States are going to be extremely tense regardless of Congress’ makeup and regardless of who is president. Lengthy arguments in international bodies and courts are ahead, as well as rising international tensions and refusal to settle major international issues.

What does it mean for us? We will steadily continue our work on developing the economy and social sector, take efforts to substitute imports, and solve major national tasks, relying mostly on ourselves. We have learned to do so in the past few years, in conditions of almost closed financial markets as well as foreign investors’ and creditors’ fear of investing in Russia upon penalty of sanctions against third parties and countries. To some extent, this has even been to our advantage, although sanctions are meaningless overall. We will cope.

Well America! You can keep chanting, “More War, More War, More War!”

Quote of the year: “The US President’s signing of the package of new sanctions against Russia will have a few consequences. First, it ends hopes for improving our relations with the new US administration. Second, it is a declaration of a full-fledged economic war on Russia. Third, the Trump administration has shown its total weakness by handing over executive power to Congress in the most humiliating way. This changes the power balance in US political circles.”

You are marching down the path and slapping yourselves on the back as you march…

Russians are fed up with your crap that you accept and allow…. Thanks America, we have turned a country that adored us and thought to be like us and now we have destroyed that relationship and on top of that, we are spitting in Russia’s face as we try to kick them…

More War!

PS: CNN breaking news….. Putin has been found to have ties to Russia and the Kremlin… OMG!

Boza back to a semblance of stability… TRV

Has been a rough few days. In fact it has been almost a terrible week to be exact. Last night I received the most sleep that I have gotten in many days. I have been 24 hrs. a day watching Boza and after a round of being sick, bad eye issues and such, it has washed out to be a draw on the battle front. I lost no ground to the glaucoma, but gained nothing either…

Actually that is winning the battle with the situation as it is…

At 3 a.m. this morning Boza was up and dancing around the Tiny Russian Village home. He seemed to be back from the gates of the sick and was ready to go out to find a kitty. I sighed and sat up on the edge of the bed and grumbled at Boza. I had fallen asleep at a little past 11 p.m. the night before and here it was 3 a.m. the next day. Boza smiled his doggy smile at me and started to do his doggy dance again. Boza loves to wiggle his butt…

Boza is impervious to a bear grumbling at the start of the day and today, seeing the butt wiggle for the first time in almost a week, made me smile, even as I grumbled about the gods and their desire to see me drop dead from no sleep. Thus, lets start how the day starts in the Tiny Russian Village…

First: I do the initial drops in Boza’s eyes. These start the process of cleaning and clearing his eyes…

Second: I then stand up as the dog is wiggling his butt and I stumble outside to meet the dark world (Boza who lives in a dark world, just wiggles his butt anyway and….) We walk for half an hour and go back home…

Third: Boza eats, I boil water, make coffee and Boza gets his second round of drops. Two different types this time…

Fourth: I put Boza on the couch next to me and I write a post or two…

Fifth: Boza waits patiently for me to finish and then he starts wiggling a butt dance as soon as he realizes that I might be enticed to walk again…

Sixth: We walk, he eats again, I take my pills and after checking his eyes and adjusting and or adding medicine as needed. I put Boza to bed, so that he heals better and finish what ever I am doing on the internet…

Seventh????: If a good active Boza is available? Before it gets too warm outside, Boza and I walk again. Then he may eat again and usually this all ends at around 8 a.m…

Five hours is the norm to accomplish the beginning of our day. At this point I am able to leave for a few hours and do whatever I need to do in life. Boza sleeps good until at least 10 a.m…

Then it all starts over again. Three times a day this happens…

Thank God that this morning the pattern went back to normal…

My prayers were answered and my world calmed down again…

Boza is a happy wiggly butt doggy this morning…

Have a good day…

I realize that life is just a circle…

I was talking with Svetochka once and or most likely twice or more, about the fact that life, everything, from the dirt below our feet to the eagle highest in the sky is nothing but a circle. Life is a circle and it goes around and around…

Maybe it goes around in an oval type circle, but it always ends up back where it started. A perfect circle of life would be easy to deal with, but one degree of variation makes the playing field a whole new ballgame every time that circle is completed…

Circle of life: Nature’s way of taking and giving back life to earth. It symbolizes the universe being sacred and divine. It represents the infinite nature of energy, meaning if something dies it gives new life to another…

I talked to Svetochka about how even our universe is simply a circle of existence. It may be a circle of existence on a trillion years or so, but it is a circle of life; from the birth of the universe to the death of that universe, there are trillions and trillions of other circles of life revolving and birthing and dying every second within the universe. Thus, one day the universe will die and rebirth as new and fresh…. And it all starts over again…

Curvature is the way and law of the universe…

The only exception and that exception is because we do not have the capacity to fathom such a happening; light travels in what we see as a perfect straight line and never ends. Within our boundaries that is true. But within lights boundaries what we would find if the energy is capable of traveling a trillion years? The light would end up back at the starting point…

Every really though about it?

The sun, earth, solar system, galaxy and the universe is a circle. Everything is effected by something and thus must curve to the laws of physics. Something that starts straight and is knocked even a trillionth of a degree to the trillionth power off course, will always come back home sooner or later. Even light is effected by physical laws that will alter its course with in it flight to leave the universe. Light is finite as our lives are finite, sooner or later the energy is used up and has been absorbed by whatever and winks out…

Everything is finite, until reborn different, in the circle of life…

Interesting concept about energy. Energy never is destroyed, it just moves from one thing to another. Even the vacuum of space transfers energy. Everything can absorb and or release energy. Energy is the biggest and longest circle of life in the known universe. Without energy nothing would be as it is. Energy is the heart of the universe and that energy is never ending in its struggle to find a home to settle at. Energy can be stored for periods of time, but as in a lump of coal, energy can easily be released when needed and or nature decides to release it. I think of oil, coal, gas, uranium and other what-knots, as storage batteries for the earth, except we steal these batteries and use them up like a kid in a candy store…

But regardless, no matter how much energy is stored, it will all end up right back at square one, a trillion or more years in the future and explode again to try to make a better or worse universe than the last one….

We are on a ride…

We humans should stop and enjoy the ride and live with the realization that we are naught but a fly speck on the window of life and our tiny little circle of life is as an atoms circle of life compared us…

I always get a notion that we are being looked at through the equivalent of an electronic microscope, just as we look at an atom. Could we be the atom in someone microscope?

All I know is that no matter how small and or how large. We all are on the ride of a huge circle called our universe and while it is possible that our universe is just one of trillions and all part of some type of mega-universe. I cannot even with my imagination fathom such a concept. Yes I can think and dream about it, but to grasp it and deal with it rationally, is an impossibility for me, just as it was not within the grasp of ancient man to grasp that the earth is not the center of the universe…

Maybe we will survive long enough to comprehend such things, but I doubt it, for the circle of war is one of the favorite circles of the gods and men. The struggle, as ants fighting the nearest ant mound, seems to be inbred within the human species…

The gods must enjoy our chaos?

For they seem not to care that we struggle to obtain awareness of even the most basics of existence of life…
