💬 As announced a few days ago, on September 13, the second summit of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum, whose secretariat I have the honor to lead, is scheduled for the summer of next year 2023. In order to prepare it, an Organizing Committee was created, headed by Yu.V. Ushakov, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation.

When preparing the forum, carefully analyzing information from other international actors, we had to state that there are forces in the world that oppose the development of equal and mutually beneficial cooperation between African countries and Russia, and, noteworthy, these are not Africans themselves.

Particular attention was drawn to the address of the EU Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, J. Borrell, published on the EU website, as well as a number of his statements during his recent trips to Mozambique, Kenya and Somalia, in which he did not fail to blame Russia for all world troubles, calling on African partners to build closer cooperation with Europe.

According to a European diplomat, the Russian special military operation is an example of “brutal imperialism of the 19th century, which Africa experienced first hand.” And now, says J. Borrell, Europe, after recognizing its responsibility for what happened at that time in Africa, has the full moral right, hand in hand with the Africans who have been oppressed for decades, to fight against Russia and build an “international order based on rules.”

Today, using the example of Russia, we are witnessing how the West is trying to deprive sovereign states of their independence through the use of a system of collective punishment, violation of basic political and economic rights, and harsh illegitimate unilateral restrictions.

Unfortunately, such a policy of double standards today can be applied to any country that does not fit into the Western system of values. African nations have experienced for decades the consequences of illegal economic restrictions imposed for the purpose of political blackmail and, in some cases, the change of political power. The West consistently imposed sanctions against Burundi, DRC, Zimbabwe, Libya, Mali, Somalia, Sudan, Central African Republic, Ethiopia, and South Sudan. And this is only part of the list.

To say the least, the US bill “On counteracting the malicious activities of Russia in Africa”, which provides for the collective punishment of Africans for any cooperation with us, is also puzzling, to say the least. Such a restriction of basic political and economic freedoms indicates unfair competition and a crude imposition of the Western agenda on other countries.

We stand for the sovereignty and independent development of the African continent, one of the regional centers of power in the new world order, which, like Russia, has its own political and economic agenda. Moreover, Russia is ready to become a provider of African sovereignty, and the upcoming Russia-Africa summit will be convincing proof of this.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation.

💥 Massive fire attack launched at the bases of 14th Mechanised and 95th Airborne Assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near Senkovo and Chervony Oskol (Kharkov region) have resulted in causing casualties of over 120 enemy servicemen and 15 units of military equipment.

💥 High-precision attacks launched by Russian Aerospace Forces at the provisional bases of the ‘Foreign Legion’ and units from nationalist groups near Svyatogorsk (Donetsk People’s Republic) have resulted in the elimination of up to 100 militants.

💥 Missile attack launched at a forward command post of 10th Mountain Assault Brigade of the AFU near Chasov Yar (Donetsk People’s Republic) during the brigade commanders’ conference has resulted in the elimination of up to 25 Ukrainian servicemen and wounding of over 40.

◽️ 8 units of special military equipment have been neutralised.

💥 High-precision attack at a provisional base of 406th Artillery Brigade of the AFU near Ochakov (Nikolayev region) has resulted in the elimination of up to 50 militants, 10 units of military equipment and over 2,000 artillery projectiles.

◽️The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation.

💥More than a hundred militants and 15 pieces of military equipment have been eliminated by a missile strike on a temporary deployment point of foreign mercenaries near Zaporozhye.

💥 A repair and restoration point of the 72nd Mechanised Brigade of the AFU has been hit by the high-precision weapons of the Russian Aerospace Forces near Annovka (Donetsk People’s Republic). It has destroyed up to 50 fighters and 28 pieces of military equipment.

💥Attempt at an offensive by the 79th Airborne Assault Brigade of the AFU has been disrupted by concentrated fire strikes by Russian artillery in the direction of Maryinka (Donetsk People’s Republic). The enemy has lost over 50 militants.

💥 High-precision strikes by the Russian Aerospace Force against permanent deployment points and communication centers of the 46th Air Mobilization Brigade and the 60th Infantry Brigade of the AFU near Bezymennoye, Mirolyubovka and Osokorovka (Kherson Region), has resulted in the elimination of more than 30 militants and five units of military equipment. In all, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost more than 110 people, including the wounded ones, as well as 13 pieces of military equipment in the direction of Nikolayev-Krivoy Rog.

💥Operational-tactical and army aviation, missile troopes and artillery strikes has resulted in the elimination of command post of a battalion of the 80th Airborne Assault Brigade of the AFU near Nikolayev, temporary deployment points of foreign mercenaries and the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade of the AFU near Zaporozhye and Druzhkovka (Donetsk People’s Republic), as well as 33 artillery units, manpower and military equipment in 178 areas.

◽️A HIMARS MLRS launching system has been struck in its firing position near Yavkino (Nikolaev region).

💥7 artillery platoons at the firing positions of the 57th Mechanised Infantry Brigade, 10th Mountain Assault Brigade, 24th Mechanised Brigade of the AFU and 102nd Territorial Defense Brigade near Lyubimovka (Dnepropetrovsk region), Markovo, Maiskoe (Donetsk People’s Republic), Shevchenkovo in (Nykolayev region), Zatishye and Rovnopolye (Zaporozhye region) have been struck during counter-battery operation.

💥In addition, an Osa-AKM air defence missile launcher near Novosyolovka (Zaporozhye region), two munitions depots near Antonovka and Andreevka (Donetsk People’s Republic), an air defence radar station near Krasnoarmeysk (Donetsk People’s Republic), and the Ukrainian Navy’s Gyurza armoured boat near the port of Ochakov have been destroyed as well.

◽️Two MiG-29 airplanes of the Ukrainian Air Force converted to use American HARM anti-radar missiles have been shot by fighter aircraft of the Russian Air Force near Novoukrainka and Bashtanka (Nikolayev region).

💥 Russian Air Defenсe Forces shot down 12 unmanned aerial vehicles near Yasinovataya, Staromlinovka, Novotroitskoye, Kirillovka, Yegorovka (Donetsk People’s Republic), Mayachka (Zaporozhye region), Davydov brod, Malokakhovka, Charivnoye and Mikhailovka (Kherson region).

◽️21 shells of multiple launch rocket systems, including 18 HIMARS missiled near Novaya Kakhovka (Kherson region), and Valeryanovka (Donetsk People’s Republic), and three Olha missiles near Guselskoye and Neskuchnoye (Donetsk People’s Republic) have been also intercepted in the air.

⚠️Kiev regime continues its provocations near Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

◽️Once again, Ukrainian artillery shelled residential areas of Energodar and the territory adjacent to the nuclear power plant. During the day, Ukrainian artillery fired 59 shells.

◽️4 of them exploded near Kazachaya Street in Energodar, and 1 hit a water canal near the nuclear power plant.

❗️The shelling was carried out from Marganets and Nikopol (Dnepropetrovsk region), controlled by the AFU. Enemy firepower has been neutralised by Russian artillery’s counter-attack.
