This conflict illustrates that in the West, reality is perceived as a social construct and can be as you perceive, even if only in your imagination and no one else’s. While in Russia, it transcends that notion. Russia has witnessed firsthand the implications of social constructs and their eventual consequences, creating a significant divide between the two perceptions and that leads to understanding that there is only one truth and reality. That is that reality is not within the human head and or imagination. This misunderstanding becomes a defining characteristic, leading to tragic outcomes caused by social constructed societies.
