Years ago I fought this battle and with it went a bunch of traffic. Traffic that was not needed in the first place. Traffic that was infested with TROLLS. These trolls were from the US and they were relentless asses that tried to destroy my site and other websites that do not toe the line… The American line… Now it seems that the western world will become a “troll haven” as they build armies, with tax payer money, to attack the people that express ideas not inline with the status quo…
These trolls befriend you, hate you, like you, desire you, and spy on you. They try to manipulate you, alter you, affect your real commenters, and destroy posts that harm the western agenda. They are there to keep your site from being a place of comfort for normal people. Trolls are the scourge of the internet…
I watch these trolls against others; a war being waged all over the internet and we have basically lost the war, for people are just too lacking on intellect to see what is happening. Intelligence of the masses is something that is not desired by the governments, for with intelligence, comes questions. Therefore, we medicate the children to stop the questions…

The ministry of Ukraine has begun accepting applications from people wanting to join the online army. Once users are registered, they reportedly receive instructions on how to proceed. The task outline is to create as many fake accounts on social media as possible without raising suspicion. The instructions explain that it is preferable to set up a new email account that uses a Western server. It also advises to set up new Twitter, Facebook, and VKontakte accounts (the Russian equivalent of Facebook).

The British army is creating a special force of Facebook warriors, skilled in psychological operations and use of social media to engage in unconventional warfare in the information age.The 77th Brigade, to be based in Hermitage, near Newbury, in Berkshire, will be about 1,500-strong and formed of units drawn from across the army. It will formally come into being in April.
The brigade will be responsible for what is described as non-lethal warfare. Both the Israeli and US army already engage heavily in psychological operations.
Against a background of 24-hour news, smartphones and social media, such as Facebook and Twitter, the force will attempt to control the narrative.
The 77th will include regulars and reservists and recruitment will begin in the spring. Soldiers with journalism skills and familiarity with social media are among those being sought.

Canada’s CTV News aired a short segment about how its own government had been exposed for hiring secret agents to monitor social media and track online conversations, as well as the activities of certain dissenting individuals. This report, which in obvious whitewashing language referred to such activities as the government simply “weighing in and correcting” allegedly false information posted online, basically admitted that the Canadian government had assumed the role of secret online police. At the time, this was a great unknown to the general Canadian public.

The US military is developing software that will let it secretly manipulate social media sites by using fake online personas to influence internet conversations and spread pro-American propaganda.A Californian corporation has been awarded a contract with United States Central Command (Centcom), which oversees US armed operations in the Middle East and Central Asia, to develop what is described as an “online persona management service” that will allow one US serviceman or woman to control up to 10 separate identities based all over the world.
The project has been likened by web experts to China’s attempts to control and restrict free speech on the internet. Critics are likely to complain that it will allow the US military to create a false consensus in online conversations, crowd out unwelcome opinions and smother commentaries or reports that do not correspond with its own objectives.
