How about a TRV image day? (Snake season is here!)

Vipera berus, the common European adder… (Snake)

It got to 25 + yesterday and while many wanted creatures woke up and decided to do their jobs (Such as bees and pollinating the fruit trees.), a few unwanted devils came out also…

Mister Viper with his poisonous fangs and all decided to use our yard as a pass through to better places. I was not going to let him go without a fight…

Sveta at times has wondered why I keep shovels and rakes at the corner of the home while I work? There is a reason and growing up in Missouri it makes sense and it makes sense here also…

I am telling you that there is nothing heart stopping like looking up, while you are hammering away and see a viper slithering two feet away from where you are kneeling on the ground…

Adrenalin is amazing…

This was a big poisonous snake for these parts and if he got out into the Tiny Russian Village, the locals would have a heart attack. They are petrified of snakes, to the point of passing out. Russians remind me of Indiana Jones and his fear of snakes… 😉

Since I know where I keep my tools, I was able to reach behind me and grab the shovel at the corner of the home. I stood and threw it like a spear…

Funny thing is, I struggle to stand from arthritis, yet I never remember standing and throwing. I just know I did it….almost ten meters away…

Adrenalin is amazing…

The head would bite you for a long time after being decapitated. nasty fangs that sucker had…

Ugh….please do not tell the natives. Coronavirus is enough problems without the natives passing out from fear and panic…

So, I stay busy, never bored and always getting in trouble…

I just love the Tiny Russian Village and I love self-isolation…

PS: Except I want my sweetpea with me!
