Even if they wanted to, they cannot openly act or express views that contradict this narcissistic exceptionalism, or the whole structure would fall apart. This explains why US elites have repeatedly miscalculated the actions of Russia, Iran, North Korea and China. They are so intertwined with self-destructive thinking that they would rather self-sabotage than acknowledge their own faults. Recognizing the accomplishments of Russia, Iran, North Korea and China (much less even the so called allies) by the USA, along with the strategies behind their success, would undermine the concept of American Exceptionalism, potentially leading to the breakdown of the establishment. The same holds true for their failure to long term honor agreements that get in the way of their personal power and resource rape & pillaging. Non-maintaining such agreements suggests that these obligations mean nothing to them and get in the way of their own interests, which directly enforces the principle of “American Narcissistic Exceptionalism”, as the US has Hollywoodized itself to believe it should set the rules for the entire world. Over time, this mindset has become so deeply ingrained and self-perpetuating that it is essential for the survival of the ruling order. Ukraine received minimal mention in the NATO summit communique. Why was that? It is because Russia demonstrated with overwhelming results that it will not allow NATO to utilize Ukraine as a base for an attack on Russia. This effectively diminishes Ukraine’s strategic value, leading NATO to abandon Ukraine as if it were a hot potato. All the gestures of goodwill from the West towards Ukraine were insincere. The West has never truly cared about Ukraine. Unfortunately, Ukraine failed to recognize this reality.
