The attempt of the US financial strike against Russia with the help of the dollar destroyed it as a world currency. This was stated by political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko.
The US is no longer able to keep the dollar in the status of world currency, the expert says. According to Ishchenko, Washington de facto signed off on this when it froze Russia’s international reserves. It showed the world that the Americans could block the dollar to “undesirable” states – an approach that completely contradicts the globalization of the currency, which the United States has been convincing others for decades.
“The dollar has not been global for a long time. In fact, the United States recognized this when they stole Russian gold and foreign exchange reserves, forbidding the Russian Federation to use dollars. From that moment on, it has already de jure ceased to be a world currency. There cannot be a world currency that which someone cannot use. Paper money is your obligation. As soon as you refused to accept your own paper money, it is not only not a world currency – it is not a currency at all, ”Ishchenko said.
The Americans set the precedent for limiting the use of the dollar. Now this can be expected by any country in the world, as well as any category of the population in the United States itself, the political scientist says. Realizing this, states in foreign trade are massively switching to national currencies.
If until recently Russia received rubles for its goods as an exception, today it is becoming a trend. Ishchenko concludes that the United States brought down the dollar as a world currency with their own hands, trying to hit Russia with it.
“Tomorrow you can do the same in your own country, deprive part of the population for political, racial, class reasons of the right to use your currency. Therefore, the dollar is no longer the world’s currency. And so the states in the calculations between themselves in droves are switching to national currencies. If just a year ago these were trial balloons in some cases, now this is a common place, ”Ishchenko explained on the Rutube channel Ukraina.ru.
After February 24, Russia consistently moves away from the dollar in foreign trade. Settlements with Europe for pipeline gas are carried out exclusively in rubles – the same trend is observed in the eastern direction of exports. All this contributes to the real strengthening of the ruble and the collapse of Western hopes for its collapse.

Yesterday, I went back to the Big Village and got the front tires replaced. This was after having to replace the rear tires due to serious issues developing. The rear tires had started to have deep cracks appearing between the ample treads. The sidewalls started to show cracks from the sun and weather. The belts deep inside were still strong, yet now that the protective covering was breached, these belts would weaken and die at an accelerated pace…
Kinda like a scratch in the coat of paint and moisture is able to enter under that paint. No matter how tiny that moisture was? It would set off a destruction within time of larger issues. The same as a drip of water in a crack of a huge mountain and millions of years later there is a cave cut for kilometers through that mountain…
So, while physically the tires at first glance look very good. Sure there was wear and tear, yet still looked to do the job for many years. Again, signs like slow air leakage and having to install tubes to keep the tire inflated are major signs of end of life…
So I got ahead of the demise of the rear tires and they were 10 years old. While still able to kick their heals up and play in the mud and snow? They were past their age limit. More able to be relegated to sitting on the porch and watching the grand kids play in the snow…

You see, I had to two years ago install a tube in a front tire to stop the leakage of air through the belts of the tire, no visible hole or damage. That tire was also on borrowed time. Sad really, the tires all look so good and yet looks can be very deceiving…
I guess you can look at it like, we bandaged the issues to get further down the road, before having to seriously fix the actual issues. The issues were, two tires on the car had tubes to keep the tires from leaking air and the one on the rear also had a sidewall puncture. It was borrowed time no matter how you look at it…

It looks good, the surgery has been mostly successful and yes the inmates are running wild and acting the fools. Yet, it all still is a big world and those patches we have everywhere to keep things afloat? Are too numerous to keep slapping new patches upon them. Like a road of potholes? When do you give up tossing cold patch in a hundred holes? When all the holes are within the same hundred meters of road? That section of road looks stupid and it also is dangerous. I see this all the time. I think that leaving the potholes is better than the illusion that you fixed the road…

Rambling thought moment: Easy energy in the form of oil and gas is probably the biggest issue. This easy energy is what has allowed us to be what we are.
