A survivor of six heart attacks and a brain tumor, a grumpy bear of a man, whom has declared Russia as his new and wonderful home. His wife is a true Russian Sweet Pea of a girl and she puts up with this bear of a guy and keeps him in line.
Thank God for my Sweet Pea and Russia.
I took the old Soviet Maps and found the exact location of a road that use to allow cars to drive across the river at our Tiny Russian Village. But very little remains of that road after at least fifty years of destruction….yet I found it…
I also followed the original water pump area for the lake system we live at. I even found the original inlet pipe that they did not remove…. Wonder how long that has been sitting there?
Yesterday, I had to try to support our power pole near our home. We called and asked for help, but, as you can imagine, coronavirus is the boss and they will be very longtime before getting out to help us. Therefore, I wrapped wire and wedged wood and drove spikes and cussed a bunch. I hope we can get it to stay upright until they can get out to fix it. I also had to put a brace on a home that is hooked to the same line. The home is trying to fall over….and it will take our pole down….which will tear a huge hole in our roof of our village home…

Moscow is a ghost town. Normally 10,000,000 people are milling about constantly…
Svetochka had to go take care of some server issues at the Gazprom Bank and she recorded this. Notice the happy music….Sveta was happy that it was empty and people staying home. But she said it is so weird…
I was not happy that she had to go downtown Moscow during the day, but she went prepared and by taxi. The driver and Sveta had a mask on if you want to know…
Anyone else but me notice that Russia has purchased all the assets of Rosneft (oil and gas) in Venezuela?

I went out early and walked. I got ready for finding the fox that I got a fuzzy sort of image of the other day. This time at 8.5X Zoom I was able to get a better catch of him while he wandered around and had no idea that I was there…
You will see him when I finally see him…
and…
It was hard for me to get him in the video, but even though I am blind as a bat without my reading glasses, I got him. I played cat and mouse with him for about an hour and we both parted our ways when he found a small pond to lay by and get a drink…
I left him alone and went exploring some more…
I went to the Holy Water Well that the Orthodox have blessed…
I had a good walk and got good videos and pictures as I went…
Stay safe and stay healthy…

Putin visited a coronavirus hospital…
I really think that this visit is what convinced him to come out and give the speech I posted the video on earlier…
Justa walking and looking and Putin talked to the people of Russia…

Beautiful day and that evening walk around the lake area was so wonderful…

Video may play very slow. My server sucks for this type of stuff….but it is worth saving for the future…
But sip a cup of coffee and try to download the video…

I was not the only one who thought it was cold yesterday morning in the Tiny Russian Village (TRV)!
I went walking and it was around -10 at that time. Not frosty, too dry of an air, but still beautifully calm damn cold…
I was walking along the old river bed of our river and noticing that there are deer tacks and deer droppings all over. Then I saw way in the distance, something that did not look like the surrounding area. I thought to myself, “Self, that is something red and what is red out here?”
I used 10X zoom and while it could have been much better if I had held the camera still. I suspected what I took a picture of would soon and I mean soon realize that a big mean bear was around…
Yes you can see the ears facing my way. I call that, their radar is on alert…
I snapped a few pictures and my stupid phone made a shutter sound. Why oh why? I have since turned that off. The sound carried like a lightning bolt in the crisp air and…
The fox, I swear….jumped ten feet in the air and literally walked on air as I gawked like a little kid in astonishment. He bee lined to the river nearby and never to be found again…
I thought about Boza and all the times he chased deer and foxes across this same field. Boza was fast like that also, in his prime. Now he chases them in my imagination. 😉
But I like to walk as quietly as I can as I explore. You never know what you will find?
So this morning I got up at 3:30 a.m. and found it as blistering cold as yesterday. So I am posting this and looking at Coronavirus news…
Then in a little while, I will walk again and try to find my foxy friend…
