Windows to Russia

Last night got to +2 degrees Celsius (Give or take about 35 to 36 F.). Yes that is correct almost freezing and cold enough that I had to get the space heater out to warm the bedroom. You see we do not have heat that we can just turn on and off as we need it and this last week we have needed heat going in the building… 🙂  (I keep our refrigerator at +3 C.)

That is so cool and was one of the best things about my night. I had one of those bad nights last night. Every since the six heart attacks years ago, I have interesting nights once and awhile. Nights that include taking nitro and sleep evades for sometimes a full day. So I had plenty of opportunity to think about the weather and think about many other things. The main thing that was on my thinking’s list last night was a question that Sveta asked me…

Sveta asked me, “Are you still happy to be in Russia?”

I responded with no hesitation and my response was from my heart, “Yes and I would not want to be anywhere else…”

Then last night I thought about why it is that I am happy in Russia and not happy back in my home country, America?

It dawned on my that I have nothing in common with most Americans. I do not feel the same love for a nanny state that a lot of Americans do. I spent years coming to grips with the fact that my ideologies are different from what most Americans think and act. Even when we agree on one thing, I find that most Americans whole mindset and thought processes are centered on big controlling government…

I can not accept that and as I look at the government in Russia, then that is what I wish the American government would become at the very least. One of the biggest things that the Russian government does that is unheard of in America is try to spend only the money you have and no more. Funny concept for America, could you imagine an America that only spends what it takes in in taxes? I can, because I see it is Russia…

So last night it came to me that from governments to just the people of the countries, I have much more in common with Russia. Be it the view point and criteria of gay rights, military spending, border patrol, local laws, governmental controls and or anything at all in comparing the two countries. I find that my tastes, abilities, thoughts, morals and financial aspects fall closer in line with Russia, also to expand that I should add the Eastern side of the world…

But this just does not have to do with just Russia! I have come to the conclusion that if I lived in China, Brazil, India and or many other countries, I would find that I would be comfortable as long as the government stays out of my way and the peoples way…

I do know that Canada, Britain, France and or Western based countries are not the cat’s meow when it comes to my thinking’s…

A good thought about the subject is: Sveta came home and said, “I just watched two young police men try to talk with a woman who was yelling at them out her window. She was being told to be quiet! The police had been called by the neighbors complaining!” Sveta said after a bunch of minutes of verbal exchange (by window), “The police decided that the woman was a mental (possibly drunk also) and told her that and left!” Sveta said, “That is just right, the less police involved the better!”

I found that interesting as I can remember a dozen times bailing out friends from jail for having someone call on them that they were too noisy and drunk. They never did anything wrong except back talked the police. That got them a night in jail. Sometimes this was friends who owned single family dwellings and sometimes apartment dwellings. Fact is that in Russia the odds are that all they are going to do is tell you to shut up and tell you that you are stupid or something and leave. That is if they even show up in the first place to tell you to shut up… (As Sveta says, “That is just right!”)

A group of thinking’s that I have on things in Russia: I never say that Russia is perfect and by far it is imperfect. But that is why I love Russia. They do not claim to be perfect, they just claim to be better than you are. That is not perfect by any means and they know this, but their faults and failings are at least known and expressed as faults and failings. They bribe and they admit it! They are corrupt and they admit it! They are poor and they admit it! They are not politically correct and they admit it! They do not trust their government and they admit it! They like furs and caviar and they admit it…

That is why I love Russia…

Revolution is in the air – Globally. At least the first wave of revolutionary fervor has struck the world. Commencing from unlikely Tunisia, spreading through dormant Egypt, toppling the Libyan strongman, the North African – Arabian Peninsula rejoiced in the Arab Spring. Yet the ‘Occupy Wall Street’ and western world change seekers are even more dramatic. Striking at the heart of capitalism, the affluent Western World is reeling under the unprecedented onslaught. The Global Anti Elite Revolution is spreading at a time when the western world’s socio economic system is in disrepute.

Once the Bastille was stormed on 14 July 1789 in Paris, the French king Louis XVI was informed that it was not a revolt, but a revolution. This is what the unfolding scenario appears like today. What differentiates the present and apparently future crisis is not chaotic civil strife – rioting but idea and concept based spontaneous radical game change. There are a number of issues involved here, but a central one is ‘Equality’. The monopolistic elites in most of the world control bulk of the wealth, power and resources leaving a paltry or marginal part for the masses or the majority. The traditional have nots are being joined by a large segment of the middle classes against an elite culture increasingly demonized in the information age. In the Middle East besides economic equality, political – social cultural equality drives the protesters. In USA and EU, it is more to do with economic equality as political, socio, cultural restrictions are relatively few.

The French Revolution was followed by numerous in Europe of 1848, once the Metternich conservative order was challenged, in multiple states. While Revolutions were a historical occurrence the Russian 1917, Chinese 1949, Iranian 1979 became more notable on geopolitical account. Hitler’s Nazi Revolution entered history books with the fall of Berlin 1945.

Francis Fukuyama (in The End of History) proclaimed the death of communism and victory of capitalism. Today capitalism is under attack in its own bastion. If the Soviet Communist order lasted from 1917 till 1991, the capitalists’ victory over Marxist Leninists – appears short lived also. From 1991 — 2011, a twenty years period was the glory of capitalism. Though of course ‘Pure unbridled Capitalism’ will be under severe strain in future. That this has happened in the West should be no surprise. Karl Mark a German, writing ‘Das Capital’, had clearly Germany in mind, and of course the classic ‘Mother of all Revolutions’ 1979 was French!

The Marxist Revolution was initially meant for rapidly industrializing ‘Deutschland’ rather than serfdom based ‘Mother Russia’. Irony of history, Geopolitics and First World War etc helped usher March and October 1917 Revolutions in Moscow. Germany was still revolution prone, but the rise of Hitler deflected it into nationalism and racialism. Still the word Nazi stood for National Socialists!

Today Revolution is globally becoming a house hold word. USA, EU and large parts of the world will experience radical – revolutionary upheaval. The most ironic part of the tale is that America may be ripe for a Second Revolution. The First American Revolution, commenced as the war of independence from the British Crown, followed by numerous reforms that followed and later expansion that created the modern United States. There are several reasons for the Second American Revolution. The US economy is in decline; at least its share of Global GDP is shrinking. Washington’s endless wars and outrageous expenses could put the most notorious spend thrift in history to shame. Wealth within USA is monopolized by the elite. So long as the lower and lower middle classes were in the financial comfort zone, no one thought of ‘Occupy Wall Street’ movement. Now Ron Paul himself talks of Revolution.

By 2020 China’s economy may supersede USA. Washington’s policy of containing Russia (with the world’s largest land space) and China (the world’s future largest economy) may not be doable. In fact, America’s super expensive wars of the previous decade have already ruined its economy. The cumulative effect of all this would inspire the good hearted, charity giving, God fearing, amiable folks in America for a real change. Amazingly Washington supported the ‘Arab Spring’ movement, which was in fact the right thing to do, but the chickens are coming home to roost! (A Libyan Revolutionary banner said it all – ‘today Libya, tomorrow Wall Street’). As per one analysis USA is among the most unequal societies.

The environment on the European continent is even more bleak for the present economic order. The European economic malaise, EU interstate disparities are further aggravating its crisis. The Euro Crisis is not simply a financial matter. It also has nationalistic, socio – cultural facets at work. Germany and Greece have not only different economies but also have different people. EU faces both intra and inter European economic issues. EU may manage its issues but the future remains uncertain. After all Europe was the birth place of modern revolutions and revolutionaries. The word radical, recently reflective of militants – terrorists may be realigned with traditional anarchists and revolutionaries.

The situation in countries like India – Pakistan and others are even worse in terms of equality. India with its inequality based ethos, may not see a revolution, but rather may face civil war and turmoil. The Brahman inspired Delhi order would strive to crush all such movements or term them as ‘terrorists’! (the most popular word in India). The world’s richest and poorest people live in India. Even while India wastes money as the world’s biggest arms importer, hundreds of millions of Indians live in abject poverty. There are more hungry people in eight Indian states than all of Africa. The Maoists and other revolutionaries are fighting the Indian system and have been termed as the biggest internal threat by Delhi.

Pakistan of course is getting ripe for a revolution, because a corrupt, foreign influenced and incompetent elite monopolies most wealth and delivers little. People are losing faith in an unresponsive political system in Pakistan. The economic meltdown further emboldens militants, anarchists and miscreants. A reform revolution is the only solution to Pakistan’s predicament. A new welfare state model and not monopolistic elite based system is the need of the hour

Soldier to Scholar

The world yearns for peace and prosperity. An end to wars and fair distribution of wealth within nations and societies would lead to a better world. This may have sounded utopia yesterday but is the road map for tomorrow.

The ruble is getting beat badly right now as the West tries to assert pressure on a rogue Russia, who refuses to play with the West in her games of conquer and destroy the little countries. So we watch oil fall and the ruble depreciate. All in the currency games played by the world…

But not all games are done by the Western Empire: China and Japan have bypassed the US dollar by starting direct currency trading between each other, in a bid to reduce transaction cost and settlement risk and strengthen bilateral trade. ­Market players can now swap Japanese yen for Chinese yuan without having to use the US dollar as an intermediary currency. China is Japan’s largest trading partner, but about 60 percent of their mutual trade is denominated in US dollars. This move is a crucial step for the yuan in the international foreign exchange market. It makes the yen the first foreign currency that can directly exchange with the yuan after it skipped the US dollar as an intermediate. That policy has long incited trade tensions with the United States… (Oops!)

This move by Japan and China is much more important than a weakening ruble. For as the ruble is under attack, the West has much more to loose by that attack, than Russia does. The West owes money to everyone in the world and when they play games as a child would, they are using monopoly money to play those games with. Sooner than later, that will catch up to them and all you have to do is watch the debt meter spin like a water meter hooked to a fire hose at a fire…

So Russia who has a ceiling at around 38.15 on the ruble, is looking at 33.5 right now. I have watched this pressure game many times against Russia, but this time China and Japan officially decided to dance at the same time and that my friend is going to put a world of financial hurt on a Western Empire that is trying to pressure a rogue Russia…

Remember that looks can be decieving! The ruble may be under attack, but the dollar is under a much worse attack that is being hidden by the Western media and working on its ($) demise is the Asian countries…

Russia is not in debt can the West say the same?

I could list links all day (hundreds) and I am only doing this to show you that we live with people dying everyday day in and day out, but we want to murder thousands in Syria for no reason…

We have a lot of self righteous people in the world, including America, who like to point the finger and condemn, as there is more death and murder surrounding them as they point…

Maybe we should clean up our killing at home first, before we run off and attack another country so we can feel all warm and bubbly about ourselves, as we save them by killing them as we did in Libya…

You see 45 murdered people a day is a lot of people. This is murders, not people just dying by natural causes in America, but plain simple murders. These are murders in the boundaries of American home territory, the 50 states…

Looks like we need to have an outside force come into our country and stop us from killing ourselves! (Sounds stupid doesn’t it?) But maybe we do need the UN to ride in on a white stallion, to save us from ourselves and bomb the hell out of us as we kill ourselves everyday, day in and day out. OMG – it is time for humanitarian service bestowed upon America for our own good…

Oh by the way! Do not give me that apples to apples and oranges to oranges stuff…

A murder is murder and that is that. So go suck an egg…

The father of Aleksandr Litvinenko, who was killed by Polonium-210 poison in London in 2006, has told British investigators whom he believes was behind the crime. He named Litvinenko’s former boss Boris Berezovsky and one of his associates.

­The allegations are part of a video report sent to the New Scotland yard by Valter Litvinenko, who currently lives in Italy. RT has received a copy of the tape.

“It was Berezovsky and Goldfarb. That’s it. Goldfarb knows all about atomic energy. How do you think Aleksandr was first infected with Polonium-210? Why do you think this case has been dragging for so long? Why has there been no court case? Because they don’t have anything, and if a real court case were to open, it will become apparent who was behind it!” the man said.

Boris Berezovsky is an exiled Russian tycoon, who was found guilty of embezzlement in Russia in an absentia trial. He is currently living in Britain, where he enjoys political asylum.

Berezovsky employed Litvinenko, who took part in numerous campaigns the billionaire waged against the Russian government.

This article is directed at the Kremlin today. I have a huge readership that is located downtown Moscow, Almost as big as the readership from Washington DC. I think the only reason that the DC readership is bigger is because DC has a million more government agencies to play on the internet…

So sorry DC, this article is not for you so go away…

I have come to the conclusion that Russia needs to put boots on the ground in Syria. I know they have some there, but I mean Russia needs to put serious boots on the ground and make a serious stand in the world. The Russian people are definitely giving their okay about doing this and the Russian people are sick and tired of the Western escapades…

Now this is no ones opinion but mine and I am just making a statement that maybe it is time to look at the real picture. I am not sure that they can look at the real picture and try to continue in the world financial divisions, but sometimes dammit money is not the point anymore…

I see a Russia trying to walk a thin line and they seem to waver to one side or the other. One minute they seem to be swaying to the Western side a little bit, then they seem to swing back and re-stance on the Syrian side. I say make a swing one way or the other and get it over with. They are just trying to walk that dastardly line of hell, between two worlds, so far apart that they have lost sight of each other when it comes to morals and whatnot’s…

My opinion no matter how practical is is or isn’t, is one that points to Russia and China getting together and stepping into Syria and tell the West to “Stick it Where the Sun do not shine!” Then mean it and back it…

I promise that the USA will back down and stay in their corner, while they badmouth Russia to the end of the earth. (Georgia 2008- is an example of this!) They will badmouth China some, but hey China owns America and America can not hardly allow itself to be repossessed…

Bullies sometimes have to be stood up against and unless a bully is put in his place then he just keeps expanding his territory and beating on innocent people. For you see a bully find enjoyment in beating up people that can not fight back. Though the opposite happens if someone comes along that just might give the bully a black eye. The bully always backs up and even though they are mouthy and hateful they do not like to get punched back. I know because I knocked my share of bullies down a few notches, as they tried to intimidate smaller stature individuals…

It is strange that I grew up that the Soviet Union was always the worlds bully. Then it became Russia after the breakup of the Soviet Union and all the satellite countries of the CSI made sure to push that point, much to the joy of the Western Empire. Then to live in Russia and study Russia, that is when you realize that the propaganda machine in the West has always worked overtime against the Soviet/Russia Empire…

This is a Putin decision to be made! Just like the decision that Medvedev made to rip Georgia a new ass when they decided to kill off South Ossetia. This is a defining moment for Putin and I am sure that he is doing some major contemplating on what happens if he does this or that. Hence the wobbling going on now…

Russian could be surround by the West and still give the West nightmares every night for the rest of its life. Russia has such a powerful nuclear deterrent that any contemplation of attacking her is total unadulterated suicide for the whole world at large. Russia has a the edge on America with shear firepower and that I know is true as per my past…

China is another that has reported only a portion of its real firepower and they like it that way. China like Russia like to be the underdog (beta), as one day those underdogs will take the Alpha dog out as it finally grows old and feeble…

So no matter what you think, World War Three is on its way. My answer is:

Russia needs to direct the WWIII her direction and not allow a Bully to direct the disaster that is in the makings! For the world we live in has taken a very bad turn for the worse lately and a stand now is necessary to counter and push the end result farther down the road! For time is what is necessary for Russia and China to complete their changes in armament that they are working on as we read this article. Ignoring the situation that has developed will give less time, than more time for accomplishments to be obtained…

Nothing will stop America from doing what they are going to do! World War Three is an American agenda. I have been studying the output from America as the data is accumulated and the general populace is a warmongering entity all the way from the ground up to the top man in the Oval Office. America is not the country that I feel comfortable supporting as I watch her kill, kill, kill and kill some more everyday. Once the fact is pushed into the heads of the Western people that we have a missile shield that will protect Europe and America, then the game is on…

Americans will support what the government does as long as they think their ass is safe behind the borders and their TV shows of Dancing with the Stars is not interrupted…

I need an America that supports the world and guides the world with a gentle caring hand, not a hand of death. Not a hand of here is a gun, under the table…

It took me a long time to figure that out about America and I do not care about other countries in the world and how they do things, I only care about how America does it and America has no morals anymore. From the ground up. Our churches support war, our media supports war, our government supports war and the people support war. I see it and I read about it everyday. Why a foreign news source is undaunted with paid for trolls that could care less that they do not even speak the language of the site that they attack. If you don’t support war then you are a minority and you better not speak too loud in America, “You Damn Traitor!”

So Putin, I do not envy you position. For if you step in and stand up for what is right, then the West will go to their grave and try as they might to destroy you in all and any fashion they can, but if you do nothing and allow the West their way and they destroy Syria and then Iran. Then you have signed a fate not unlike what Medvedev had happen, (but many times stronger in your case) over the Libyan fiscal…

Putin I am watching to see what you do over this issue. For as I know Russia pretty well now and I know that unlike America, you have the final say and it all rests on your shoulders…

After months of delays, the government has finalized a much-touted visa agreement with the United States and drafted the corresponding bill, though it was unclear Wednesday when the State Duma would hear it.

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev approved the bill and ordered it to be sent to the Duma, the government said in a decree published on its website.

The decree was dated and published May 25 but only became known when national media reported it Wednesday.

Well it took the blog-sphere and some heated pointblank articles like mine all over the Russian network, to get McFaul and the Administration of America to back pedal and try to cover up what McFaul has been up to in Russia. So now after a stupid remark from the American government yesterday and it went something like, Russia needs to just live with Mcfaul and that is that. Now I have tried to find that statement and it is nothing but a trail of 404 pages on the web this morning… 🙂

But I have my data base and it is full of stupidity statements like this and that is why I keep them, because things are erased from the net all the time: The U.S. State Department said on Tuesday that Russia will have to get used to U.S. Ambassador Michael McFaul’s outspoken statements. “He speaks plainly. He speaks clearly. He doesn’t mince words. He’s not a professional diplomat,” State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said.

Okay I have to repeat what I just read: He speaks plainly. He speaks clearly. He doesn’t mince words. He’s not a professional diplomat! I speak plainly, I speak clearly, I do not mince words and I definitely and I am not a diplomat, so can I have McFaul’s job? I would definitely be better at a relationship with Russia than he is!

Now McFaul is in full damage control and I bet he feels like a goldfish in a real small fish bowl today, with a cat looking in the top…

As a proponent of better U.S.-Russian relations, I was surprised by the official reaction to my talk at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow. The central thesis of my presentation was how much U.S.-Russia officials have accomplished in the last 4 years with the “reset” in our relations. As one of the architects of this policy and as President Obama’s representative here in the Russian Federation, it is natural that I would give a talk applauding the results of the reset. Prime Minister Medvedev said recently in Seoul that the last three years of the U.S.-Russia relationship have been the best period in U.S.-Russia relations in history. We agree, and I am proud of the personal role that I have played in improving the bilateral relationship between our two countries.

The goal of my speech was to applaud how we now cooperate in Central Asia, avoid linking unrelated issues, and are relaxed about claims of internal interference. The point of my digressions into past historical practices was not to “spread blatant falsehoods”, but rather to illustrate precisely how much we have overcome by abandoning these outmoded ways of diplomacy from previous eras. Maybe I shouldn’t have spoken so colorfully and bluntly. On that, I agree and will work harder to speak more diplomatically.

U.S. and Russian officials are now engaged in serious dialogue to stop the horrendous killing in Syria, to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons capabilities, and to promote trade and investment between our two countries. As I have every day for the last four years, I look forward to working closely with my colleagues at the MFA and elsewhere in the Russian government to return to this real agenda of U.S.-Russia relations.

Okay McFaul, I believe you…

I remember a movie from the 70’s that had a young guy who got in trouble. He kept saying, “What did I do? What did I do? What did I do?” All the while everyone looked at him like he was stupid or something and could not believe that he did not know what he did…

McFaul: “What Did I Do?”

I have a question McFaul! Why did they send you to Russia if as our government admits, “He’s not a professional diplomat.” Then what the hell are you doing here promoting democracy under the table, by scummy ways and pissing everyone off, if you are not a diplomat?

I am sure that Putin will have lots to talk about McFaul to Obama and Putin may not even care to talk about anything else when they meet and Obama should be thinking about that right now as they do political fallout control…

I would be glad to sit down with McFaul and have a chit chat about the way to survive in Russia, because he is definitely not doing anything correct and the only reason that he has survived this long is because Russians are very patient and forgiving. That patience is starting to wear thin and since he has been here, he has been in the news constantly. It really seems that he is trying to cause trouble in Russia…

But going to another country and trying to stir up issues politically is not his job! A big job of an Ambassador is “To make sure that people are well aware that the United States is here, and what our policies are and why we have them.” But it is not to criticize other countries and openly, intentional and monetarily interfere in a countries political landscape. Within Russia McFaul has over stepped his boundaries big time…

Just more fuel for Putin’s fire…
