MOSCOW, October 16. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has submitted a treaty on strategic alliance and cooperation with the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela for ratification to the Russian State Duma (lower house of parliament).
“[I hereby decree] to ratify the treaty on strategic partnership and cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, signed in the city of Moscow on May 7, 2025,” the document, published on the Duma’s electronic database, states.
The geopolitical rivalry between the United States and China embodies risks of outright military conflict, economic warfare, and political subversion, as well as the danger that tensions between the world’s two leading powers will destroy the potential for achieving a global consensus on such issues as climate and artificial intelligence. Moderating this rivalry therefore emerges as a critical goal, both for the United States and China and for the wider world.

If the ‘business peacemaker’ is talking about Tomahawks, then that statement is wrong. The delivery of those missiles would not be good for anyone. First and foremost, it will end badly for Trump himself.
It has already been said a hundred times, in terms even star-spangled Uncle Sam could understand: it’s impossible to tell whether a Tomahawk carries a nuclear or conventional warhead while it’s in flight.
