Always a “hope” in these times…

There is optimism that the United States will act rationally, and that a sufficient number of influential figures will “recognize the truth” and regain their composure. Isn’t it often stated that insanity is repeating the same actions while anticipating a different outcome? The ongoing efforts to engage in dialogue and patiently wait for the US to change course are ongoing, yet there is a pervasive sense of failure among the collective West, resulting in two stark options: collapse or all-out war. I believe the US is unable to relinquish its empire, as I doubt it can endure the transition. – kKEETON…

It is not Ukraine weapons any more being used to attack Russia. It is NATO weapons…

Ukraine has literally no weapons of war left and is 95% reliant upon NATO for all items of war. Including food, uniforms and usage of satellite data for guidance of NATO missiles…

Russia knows NATO wants war (NATO has no choice in the matter) and Russia is now fully gearing up to fight that war that the West desires…

So, do you want that war?

WW3 is what it will be called…

Medvedev – “Ignore the US. This one is simple: we don’t foresee friendship with the US within the next 💯 years”…

More than 20 years ago, an American colleague of mine uttered a curious phrase about Iraq: “Punish France, ignore Germany, forgive Russia.”

Why does it spring to my mind now? Here’s why: this verbal triad will be quite appropriate when the West’s hybrid war against Russia is over – and one day, it certainly will be. Then, it will be time for our country to:

a) Forgive the weak countries that succumbed to the Anglo-Saxons’ pressure and played along, even if passively, with the anti-Russian political shitshow (these are mostly Asian and Latin American countries).

b) Ignore the US. This one is simple: we don’t foresee friendship with the US within the next 100 years, and going to war with America is too costly: a direct clash would obviously mean global nuclear war.

c) Punish Europe. Now, this one, I will expand upon, because, looking at the Old World today, the only thing I feel is deep revulsion. It is Europe, now a mad old hag, which became the world’s stronghold of Russophobia. It was lying Europe that caused the Istanbul talks to fail. It was brainless Europe that furiously unleashed its bungled sanctions campaign, inflicting massive economic damage on its citizens. It was bloodthirsty Europe that fed the worst demons of war without any regard for loss of life on either side of the conflict.
This is why Europe must be punished by all means available, be it political, economic, or hybrid. And this is why we must help all destructive processes happening in Europe. Hail raging mobs on its quaint streets! Hail swarms of migrants wreaking havoc and wrathfully tearing down European rainbow values. May the loathsome mugs of European bureaucrats be swept away by floods of civil turmoil!

Why so harsh? But how else could it be, given the facts? A Norwegian-flagged vessel, Oslo Carrier 3, refused to take aboard distressed Russian sailors from Ursa Major as it was sinking in the Mediterranean. What more is there to explain? That cannot be forgiven!

We shall act, for it is written: “The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.” (Ps. 58:10)

а) простить те слабые страны, которые поддались давлению англосаксов и приняли хотя бы и пассивное участие в антироссийском западном треше (в основном это ряд стран Азии и Латинской Америки);
б) игнорировать США. Тут всё просто: дружбы у нас в ближайшие 100 лет не предвидится, а воевать с Америкой накладно – прямой конфликт с очевидностью перерастёт в мировую ядерную войну;

Our Many Christmas Holidays in Russia…

Wow people do read the articles!

I have many e-mails that pertain to the fact that I am lucky and have several Christmases yet to go. I stopped and thought about what they said and then smiled to myself and said to myself, “I am a lucky guy!”

I also have many e-mails telling me that I was a communist and I should rot in hell before I have any Christmases at all, those are my favorite e-mails! ~~

Therefore, it all starts with Thanksgiving and Sveta and I always have a nice special meal on that day. Then by the time Western Christmas comes around the games begin…

Being from the West I have a special place still for Christmas Western style and we always have some treat for that holiday and since I love Christmas songs, I sing many of them on Christmas Eve and day. (Poor Sveta) Then I get ready for the New Years in Russia and that is when Santa Claus Ded Moroz comes to Russia…

Side note here: I have seen articles in the Western press and they said that Santa had delivered 7 billion presents and yes he even went to countries like Russia, Cuba, China, you know them terrible countries, we even get presents…

Ded Moroz is not Santa Claus…

I hate to burst those Western elated and induced superiority bubbles, but Santa did not come to Russia, nor China at a Western Christmas time frame. Unless you call the profits that the Chinese make “Santa Clause” from all the sales of Chinese goods in America. China may agree with America then…

So no, I do not see Santa Clause on December 25th in Russia. I expect him to show up on New Years Eve and bring lots of presents at that time. We in Russia call Santa, Ded Moroz and he has a beautiful granddaughter called Snegurochka who helps him to deal with the pressures of Russian New Year. The kids in the East are just as excited, as the kids in the West…

But! That is not the end of it! As the New Year celebrations will come to an end eventually, we have to stop and think about a very religious holiday. Yes Russians have one more Christmas…

On the 7th of January it is Orthodox Christmas…

This Christmas is not affiliated in any way with commercialism and greed. Not that I can see at least and I have taken this Christmas to heart and am very thankful to have this day to understand that Christmas was not about money, material items and commercialism. Christmas is a solemn ritual and a joyous celebration…

I have three Christmases to enjoy in Russia, but the last one is the one that I like the best. It does not have a ($) dollar symbol in the window and when you open your ears and mind on the 7th day of January. You will see things in a whole new light…

The church bells ringing are in toll of what everyone greet all others with, “Christ is Risen!” (Христос воскрес!)

“Christ is Risen!” (Христос воскрес!) – That says it all to me…

WtR

PS: I need to add that even after January the 7th and Christmas is over, we still have another New Year holiday. The New Year that follows the real Christmas on the 7th of January that is…

So January 14th is the real new Year! According to the Orthodox…

Is There A Santa Claus in Russia? (Audio)

santa russian style

~ * ~

I was drinking my morning cup of coffee and thinking about Santa Claus! Does Russia have a Santa Claus?

The answer is yes…

We in America believe that Santa Claus lives at the North Pole! Then on the 25th of December he delivers gifts to all the children in the world…

(link to north pole)

Santa Claus, also known as Saint Nicholas, Father Christmas, Kris Kringle, or simply “Santa” is a historical, legendary and mythical figure believed by many children to bring gifts on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day…

The Russian Santa Claus:

In Russia, Santa Claus is known as Father Frost or Ded Moroz. He is usually illustrated with his granddaughter, the snow maiden, Snegurochka riding with an evergreen tree and presents in a traditional Russian troika. A troika is a sleigh drawn by 3 horses yoked abreast. The above photo below the Santa photo reads, “Happy New Year!” (click to read about Father Frost)

Real Christmas is now celebrated in Russia on January 7.  After the Russian October Revolution in 1917, the calendar was changed to place Christmas after New Year’s Day. This was done in order to place more emphases on the non-religious New Year’s Day. For this reason, the Russian Father Frost is associated with New Year’s Day rather than with Christmas…”

Father+Frost

So the answer is yes: Russia has Christmas and Santa Claus, though different from in America, it just has a Russian twist to it…

It works for me…
