Windows to Russia

Years ago I saw this coming and at the time I just relied upon my intuition. Now as things become facts, time is showing what is happening in the world. At the time I first mentioned such a whisper of Gas as King? I was attacked brutally by the cyber systems in America. I even had friends turn on me and call me and call me stupid and more…

It was made clear to me that I was worthless and pathetic and a commie sympathizer…. 😉 Gas and or Gaz would never replace oil and would never become important enough to make anyone care about it as a fuel. Maybe for industry, but never as a fuel that would be important in everyday life…. These things I talked about many years ago, are now becoming true. Russia has serious gas reserves and 90% of the world does not have these kind of reserves…

Severneftegazprom, which is controlled by Gazprom. As a result of the transaction, Gazprom will retain control over it. In fact, this company controls 1.1 trillion cubic metres of gas, which is an absolutely mind-boggling amount.

(Compare one Russian company reserves to all US reserves of around 8 trillion cubic meters)

The transaction amounts to 1.808 billion euros. Do you realise how much that is? Accordingly, OMV Exploration and Production, which is registered in Austria, acquires a little less than 25 percent (24.99 percent) in the joint-stock company Severneftegazprom. This company belongs to another Austrian company (I mean the acquirer), with 31 percent Austrian capital, and 24 percent owned by the government of the Abu Dhabi Emirate. This is a major deal with the Austrian money coming in, and this is important from the point of view of developing the fields.
Russia is the King of Natural Gas reserves, Iran is the Queen and the prince is Qatar. No one else comes close…

A young eagle decided to visit our yard and check out the baby birdbrains. We have eleven of them total. These kids should be safe here and with all the fish to eat, an eagle should be busy fishing. Not this eagle…

I heard the baby birdbrains change their tone and mama and papa birds were going nuts. In the corner of our yard where the grass is tall. The babies had all gathered and hidden. They were running from an eagle…. I have to tell you that eagles are huge. It was like a lion stalking a mouse, or in this case a bunch of mice…

I grabbed the first thing at hand and it has a handful of sand. Sand is everywhere here. The sand was wet and made a ball in my hand. Next…

I exploded a ball of wet sand on the back of the eagle. He or she had no idea that I was there and I caught it trying to grab one of our babies. The eagle went face forward and its wings spread and then I ran at it, tearing through the apple trees like a made bear after food. The eagle just about had a heart attack…

Its head had turned all the way around looking straight back. I wish I had a picture of that. There was none of the usual devil eyes as these eagles seem to have normally, it was eyes of saucers and shock…

I got within a ten feet and it finally took off. I had a broken apple limb from a recent storm, that I had grabbed as I ducked under a apple tree. I was going to smack myself an eagle on the head. I screamed all the way to protect my babies and their parents and this eagle left with a funny scream of terror and sand went everywhere, from its backside…

Ever seen an eagle shoot straight up in the air, like a helicopter?

I watched it fly like a raven being chased by the devil and looked down in the grass. Birdbrains all over the place. They just huddled in the grass together and peeped. Mama and papa birds sat on the fence watching the eagle and I turned and walked away to the house….

I remember yelling at the eagle that I would mount him in the wall of the home…. and make stew out of him to boot…

I kept looking back to see if the eagle was back and mumbled obscenities, but I think that it will find a better spot to terrorize little ones. I think it the eagle, was terrorized sufficiently to keep it away…

Do Not Mess With My Baby Birdbrains…

The weather changes and Boza has real issues with his eyes. I have watched closely and noticed that the weather really effects his eye pressure. Maybe because it is so borderline anyway that it affects more?

Really bad night. But Boza is sleeping soundly this morning and for that I am thankful…. Sometimes you have to grab life by the coat tails and hang on. Hoping to be pulled along for another day and that that day will be better than the one you just exited…

Rain has started at 5 a.m. and will be the kind of rain that is steady and good for the plants. That I am thankful for also…

Therefore, I made a cup of coffee and sit here listening to the rain drops pitter patter upon the leaves of the plants in the yard. A breeze is blowing, the rain is falling and I am alive still…. What more to ask for?

My blood sugar was bottomed out for most of the night. Nothing I could do would bring it up and I am not hungry enough, to eat enough to change it much. A few pieces of candy, some cottage cheese and I struggled through the night. Along with a Boza who had excessive eye pressure…

Therefore, I am moving slow this morning and will wait a few hours extra to take my sugar pills. I will take my heart pills, but today my diabetes pills have to be watched and I will check my blood sugar a bunch…. I took it three times during the night…

I am under the understanding that Sammy the Volga is painted, but now it has to be completely put back together. Still will take time and it looks like Svetochka will come on this Monday coming up. Then she will stay the whole week and sometimes during next week we will leave to Moscow…

Like I say, “Life is interesting!”

The chaos from America is too much to deal with. It is nice to be able to simply look around in my world and see life as reality, not a MSM driven agenda. An agenda driven by greed and hate for all good in the world…

I wish Americans would wake up and get their heads out of their virtual world of hate and propaganda…

Go use an outhouse for a day! That will set priorities correctly and make you understand that life is nothing but a tech dream…. I sat in ours this morning doing bear business and listen to the rain hit the roof, a roof that I put on it and realized how nice it sounded…

Simple pleasures are easy to see and find, but you must open your eyes first to the possibilities around you…

The laptop died in the Tiny Russian Village. It was a good workhorse and actually still works, but the monitor has shelled out completely. I could hook up the external monitor, but that is space consuming and I like more area to work in…. And the keyboard is different, but that I will work around…

Therefore, I was lucky I brought the Estonia Yoga Tablet/Laptop and Windows to Russia is back in business…

Strange how life works…

Rough night. Boza and I both were up at 2 a.m. and walking, then back to bed and up at 4 a.m. as normal. It is 5 a.m. right now…. Like I said, “Things as always…”

Sammy the Volga should be painted today and or at least started. They have the car back together, they have applied rock proof undercoating and sealant to the underside and it is primed and sanded. It is ready to paint and then ready to reinstall the windows and external lights and such…

We are looking at this upcoming Sunday to leave for Moscow and then we can get Boza and his eyes done. Lets hope and pray that all falls into place correctly. Boza needs to get some help, because the drops are starting to fade with influence on his left eye. It looks like the left eye needs to be removed, but we will see…

Boza needed to walk again and when he needs to go, I take him. We only walk four or five times a day now, instead of eight plus times. Thus, he wants to go, I take him. He needs it. Mornings are the best time for him and I to walk. The Tiny Russian Village sleeps as we walk…

I woke last night with a wild dream…

I woke in a sweat and my dream was still running before my eyes. I was being asked by ?, “Why do we keep killing ourselves off?”

I was dreaming about how many times the human race has been allowed to rise in power and then when we should know better, allow ourselves to destroy each other. This is something that I believe in…. I think in 4 billion years, that humans have cycled around and around on this planet. And every time we reach a certain attainment of technology and abilities, we self destruct and start from scratch again…

Too much is unexplained about things that have survived from the past. Many of these things are slid under the radar and not expounded upon. Even something as simple as the Egyptian Pyramids is still beyond our abilities to build exactly like they are built and much less try to do it with tech they had in those days. Life is still full of mysteries and we just scratch the surface of what has happened on this planet. We like to spout and beat our chests, but we are babes in the woods compared to the lifespan of the Earth…

Somewhere in the universe something and or someone has made it to maturity, definitely not us. We are still children and as such we cannot see the forest for the trees. A mature society would not war, not waste resources, not populate themselves to death, would not curse the gods and definitely would not be in chaos…

Being a science major, I can not fathom that we are alone in the universe. I can fathom that we are being watched, but being the only humans, entities and or humanoids is not even possible. The stars are plentiful beyond any imagination and every star has planets to some extent…

We are an arrogant intelligence, that is so immature that we act like children in a playground fighting over the only ball around, fighting over the swings, fighting over who is first and fighting over whose father is toughest…

Someone, something somewhere is laughing at us…. Maybe placing bets on how long we last?

His head is on my lap and he is snoring. Life is good, the sun is shining and it will be about + 20 today…

I have talked about this before…. But then if it has to do with my life in Russia, I have most likely talked about it several times…

The fence wars are starting for earnest…

Vova is upset, many of the other villagers are upset and I just watch the world going around and around…

Svetochka’s mothers Tiny Russian Village home is below the monastery and definitely out of the monastery property lines, but…

Many homes are not and that is going to become a serious issue real soon. An example is Vova’s home. It is located within the original monastery walls and land, he has rights to live there, but it is looking like that is the extent of those rights and what he does to his property falls under scrutiny by the church…

Makes sense to me, but then I have not lived here all my life and I did not go through the times when everyone was told that they owned so and so property. But yes, the church has had this property from the first stone laid for its foundation and the church is eternal in time and place…

The Orthodox Monastery has brought up the beginnings of their wall building and even as they will start slowly, one day they will surround the monastery with a wall and or fence to start with. There is no such thing as a monastery in Russia that will not be surrounded ultimately. Maybe in remote areas it will be left alone, but in a village like this, they will build that wall…

Svetochka and I are in a good spot and we can watch the goings on and not be bothered by the wall and such. But most of the Tiny Russian Village is actually on monastery property and that my friend is what it is all about…

It will get interesting before it is all done…

New family…

In Russia life is interesting. I went to town yesterday in the morning and a young man named Dennis picked me up. This is the driver that Svetochka has used before and or his dad. The young man was very polite, kind and helpful. He was patient and waited as I searched the town for medicine for Boza. Nice trip and nice kid, who is about 19 years old…

When he dropped me off at my walking spot to the Tiny Russian Village, I started to give him money. Him and his dad run a taxi service and that is how we know them. He refused the money…

Seriously, he spent almost two hours of his time, fuel and wear on his car and he refused the money…

Svetochka called him to see what was up and he told her basically, “We are family and you do not charge family!”

He calls Sveta, “Aunt Svetochka!”

I walked along the last two or three kilometers to the village home thinking…

Yes you know what I am thinking, “Just like in the old days in America!”

This is something that is common in Russia, people get attached to strangers and those strangers become family in that families eyes. I grew up with that as the normal, and every family I new as a kid had someone called Uncle and or Aunt and they were not related. Families are not always just blood relations…

Then all became better…

I have been feeling down about Boza and really am struggling to keep his left eye under control even somewhat…

This is a serious issue and soon the car will be done and we will get back to get his eye worked on. But, I still was done and out about the issue…

But as always, something happens and this little tidbit of life as it happened, made me smile. A young man had no issues with hauling this grouchy bear around and would not accept money for doing it, all because I am family…

I realized why I love Russia so much…

Giving is normal with the Russian people, especially the village people and life is as it should be. Those that have, give to those that do not and so on and so on. It is what makes me comfortable in Russia. For that is how I do things and paying it all along is what it is all about…

Russians will give the shirt off their back if you need it more than they do…

You should think about that…. As you warmonger against a country like Russia. Russia is a fantastic place and this young man gives me the example as why!

I guess Svetochka and I are aunt and uncle now…

Mommy Eagle is back…

The beast of the valley is back and she swooped in to straighten her subjects out real quick. I noticed yesterday that the hawks, ravens and other birds were in a tissy. I had talked about another big eagle, but not mommy eagle, who was trying to set itself up as king and or queen of the valley. It is a big eagle and I thought we had a new boss…

Wrong, Mamma Eagle has come home. She sailed across the lake and had a fish the size of an whale in her talons. Hawks were swooping around her. These huge hawks looked like fighter planes swarming a bomber…. She screamed her eagle scream and all got quiet in the valley. You could have heard a pin drop. The wind even stopped blowing. The little swallows all set on the power lines and shuddered as they watched her fly overhead…

Yes, Mamma Eagle is back and yesterday afternoon, I watched her and her family flying lazily far up in the sky. Oh to fly like an Eagle…

Oh Ralph was missing this morning. He sat in the forest edge watching us, he darned not come out for a few days at least. Mamma was soaring overhead at 4 a.m. and everyone is watching to see what mood she is in…

Mamma Eagle is a bad-ass eagle and seriously she is huge. I wonder if she will have anymore babies this year? I count seven eagles from her now. Too hard to tell them from each other and they are all the size of Papa Eagle…

Please Mamma Eagle be nice to your subjects…

Woke up and saw Trump has already back tracked after tweeting a few good things. The people in charge started to Tweet back hate and warmongering and Trump folded…

Yes and of course these were things that had to do with Russia and you all know Russia is the number one scapegoat for the USA and her internal issues…

Seems that we have a good idea who really runs the country and it damn for sure is not the one we call president of the USA. But we really have known this for many years…

Oh yes! It was a busy day yesterday in the Tiny Russian Village. Hundreds of people drove / walked / biked / stumbled / crawled / danced / and whatever up to the Monastery and even bus loads of people came up the mountain. Orthodox party all day…

Then when the Orthodox left, that started the village drunks a partying…. At least the two party groups did not mix together…

I was stretching my body and getting ready to walk with Boza. Then I heard the far off whine of an engine and Boza recognized the sound. It was Father Pavel and he was tearing up the mountain of our Tiny Russian Village at around 4:15 a.m. Dust flying and Boza and I grumbled at being disturbed so early in the morning…

Father Pavel had two others with him and they sped to the church, then we walked up and watched. They built a fire first…. It is cold you know? Then they gathered icon holders and Father Pavel had a notebook full of papers. He was studying the papers as his helpers worked around the church. Then I heard another car and I knew that this was going to be a busy day at the monastery…

Soon babushkas and some kids with moms and dads would walk up the mountain. They cross the sunken bridge as they come. I checked the bridge last night and it had gone down even more than earlier in the day. Shoes off and careful across and you will be here soon…

Boza did his doggy stuff and I watched a little longer. Then coffee was calling my name and after thanking god for allowing me to live in such a wonderful place as this Tiny Russian Village, Boza and I wandered down the mountain to our home…

It is amazing to see the things I see; until you have seen hundreds of babushkas and family walk across the river and up the steep hill, you do not have a true understanding of Russian Faith in Orthodoxy. It is amazing and walking for many kilometers to attend service is the norm…

Everyone is dressed in black, browns and some dark blues, as a general attire. Scarves are on all the women and the men bareheaded. Children are normally the most colorful and that is kept to reds, white, black and greens, as a norm…

This post is not trying to tell you that you must observe, it is telling you a tidbit of my life in a Tiny Russian Village. This is the key; I observe and I tell the truth about what is happening. I tell as much truth as I know. People do not understand why I would be in such a backward, low tech and simple place?

I know 80% of who reads this article would think I am crazy for even caring about such things…

Being raised a christian, first with Methodist and then as a Baptist, I learned that religion is not what is presented, but what is in your soul. I am neither a Methodist or a Baptist, nor am I Orthodox. I am myself and I enjoy all religions and believe that all are the same at the core…

What amazes me is that the strength of the Orthodox people is beyond anything I have seen before. All the abundance of western based religions pales compared to the simple, yet exotic workings of the Orthodox…

It is a power that is Godly driven and if you lived in The Tiny Russian Village, you would see, hear and feel it daily…

Tiny Russian Village

It just is simply one of the most wonderful places on earth. Life has taken a backdate here. Life has become slow in forward progress in our village. That makes life worth living…

It is what it is and that is what makes it wonderful…

It’s what life is about…

4 a.m. Ralph the Raven was sitting in a pine tree watching our home. The sun is up, but clouds obscure it as Boza and I start down the hill to the river. I want to check the bridge to see if it can be crossed easily. Rain and more rain has driven the river to try to overflow its banks in places and I could not be sure that the bridge was even there still…

Ralph followed us. He talked to Boza the whole way. First he would land in front of Boza and squawk at him. Boza would run straight at him at the sound. Then he would fly and land on a telephone pole top. Then silently watch us as we came nearer. Then we started the whole process over again and again. Stepping from one pole to another. It is interesting to watch and Boza likes it. It seems that Ralph does also…

Ralph for some reason stopped at the last telephone pole nearest the river. He would not go any farther. He sat and watched Boza and I while we checked things out and then decided that he was needed else where. Another raven came along and they squawked at each other for a minute and both took off for the forest. Could that have been his girl? Who knows?

I am debating whether to walk to a nearby village or not this morning. The bridge is still slightly underwater, but still there and still strong. Amazing actually. I still have a pack of chicken to cook and plenty of other food. I can wait a few days to see if the bridge comes completely out of the water. Would be easier to get across. But I need to walk, for Boza does not and is not able to take the long walks we use to do and I miss them. I need to take myself and the camera and walk for several hours. It will be cool today and in fact right now it is +8 outside… +13 as a high…

I did Boza’s eyes this morning already, I have taken my pills already and we had a good walk that allowed Boza to do his doggy stuff. But do I need to go? That is the million dollar question and that is more important to me than trying to make sense of a western media that acts like a meeting between Putin and Trump was a power struggle and promoting all the leaders in the G20 as the saviors of the world…

They are just people, like you and me and they wipe their asses the same as we all do… (Well I hope you do?)

Boza and I walked the outer edge of the Tiny Russian Village and we found only a sleepy village with several weekenders from the big cities, passed out in their yards. One place had three guys laying in the yard, with a bunch of huge beer bottles and I shook my head. It seems that beer is the same here as in America. Contrary to popular belief, beer gets you drunk, just like sucking on a whiskey bottle…

I watch the coming and going of city folks all the time in the little village. To them the Tiny Russian Village is a party place. To me it is home. But many times I get really tired of the drunks from the cities driving all over the place and making car tracks in beautiful fields. I know! You gotta let off steam and it is a bunch safer to let off steam in the village than in a big city. But, they are loud and drunk doing it. As you can tell, I do not drink. I have in my past, but drinking alcohol is really not very fun to do…

It is sad…. The children born in the Tiny Russian Village, are reaching a ripe old age. They are also slowly dying off. The village homes that have been full of people for 10 years now are sitting empty. Still good homes, but the owners are sick, dead and or struggling to survive. Their families are not interested in coming to the village. Small towns and or villages are dying here as fast as in America. It is sad, for with our future generations, they desire instant gratification and a Tiny Village does not hole their attention like an iPhone does. Even if they come to the village, you will find them standing at the best reception spot for the phone in the village and only when their batteries die, do they venture back to charge it. We have such a spot at the corner of our land at the road side. I find people standing there and trying to social media it for hours…

The children born in the village die off and their children want to sell the Tiny Russian Village home…

Therefore, since Boza and I like peace and quiet!

Boza and I get up and walk a village that is till sleeping. I decide what I will do for the day and lately, I have to watch Boza so close that I get very little done. Right now he is sleeping very peacefully and I am thankful for that. He ate good, had good doggy important things to do and stood by me patiently to have his medicine done. He slept by my side last night. It was not a bad night, but at 1:30 a.m. I had to put a single drop into his eyes. This took care of any issues and he slept soundly the rest of the night…

I guess what I am trying to say is this…

I am thankful for the small things in life and my Boza is one of those small things in life. Another is Svetochka. They are my two buddies and that is what life is about…

I have scoured the area and this year Mamma Eagle is missing. Maybe she found a new home? Maybe she did not like me taking her picture? Maybe she is dead? I do not know…

I know her kids are here. We have an abundance of young eagles and they are flourishing. I counted seven eagles in total. But, papa and mamma eagle are not here. In one way it is better to the whole valley, in more ways it is sad and seems like we have lost an intricate soul of the valley…

Mamma Eagle was a beast and it would be sad if she had died…. I mean she was some huge eagle and I posted many articles about her, usually mixed in with many coffee thought articles…

Woke at 3:30 a.m. and it was +7 degrees outside. Yes I know it is summer, but this is Russia, the land of the winter and it will get up to +30 in a week or so, but, cool weather is the normality of life here. It is a good thing to me…

Boza and I walked after I put his first drops in his eyes. I break the medication up into several sessions, but this causes me to end up spending half my time just doing drops for Boza. That is okay and it helps him to deal with the strong drops better. He is sleeping peacefully and is happy right now. He wandered around and found a kitty this morning; that is what it is about and if he has good times, then I have good times…

I am worried about something:

I know for a fact while America is spouting, “We are number one!” That China and Russia are advancing due to integrated knowledge systems, far above what we in America realize in war tech. I am watching Iran, North Korea and several other countries advance light years in the last 10 years or so. While the west has been playing god, war monger and number one asshole. The east has been silently and methodically garnering defensive and now offensive systems that are amazing. I do not think this is so wonderful but I do think it is necessary. It is a reaction/backlash to the wild west approach that the Western Empire has forced upon the world. It is a reaction to the, “America is the world policeman!”

Russia has taken the cruise missile technology to a whole new level and all this while we Americans have been spending ungodly trillions of dollars warring and wasting lives all over the world…

You never can, “Rest upon your laurels!”

I have talked many times about allowing the west enough rope to hang itself. So much of what has been happening in the last 10 years is strategy by the east. I talk about this stuff…

“While the west looks at silence, non-aggressiveness and retreating as weakness. These factors are actually  strategies to weaken a foe and allow small defeats to later build into winning the war!”

China, Russia, Iran and a hundred more countries play the west for the dollar and technology. This is undermining in a small drip sort of way. The same way caverns are made underground, during millions of years of a single action of drip, drip, drip and a million more drips. The base is worn away and from that it is easy to bring the roof down…

Russia and China have advanced and we have helped them do it…

I am sad because, we had the world in our hands, we had the choice to make and that forked road allowed that choice to be made. We took the fork of least resistance and forced the rest of the world to develop with their souls behind it. It is all about the soul, culture and intellects. We danced and partied, while who we tried and did rule, has been working to cut our throat. For we never accepted anyone as equals and even our so called friends are looked down upon as lessor than we are. I have studied and all Empires do such mistakes. The British Empire, The Roman Empire and on and on…

Whether America understands this or not. Russia and China have been getting ready for war. Not fighting and wasting their money doing it. The US has been waging war after war, illegal or not and without a care who they bomb. No care for permissions and no care for collateral damage. We have slaughtered the sheep and gone fat and lazy, as the sheep gather the tools to change the world. We have created hate world around. We, as all empires, have become lackadaisical ridiculous…

Sometimes I think we are in the Toga Party stage of the Roman Empire…

We really need to learn from history…
