Beets and Carrots Harvested Today…

Thirty three huge beets and seven ugly gigantic carrots and I mean ugly. But, I ate one whole carrot yesterday, just as ugly and huge and it was as sweet as candy. They say, “Do not judge a book by its cover!”

33 beets and 7 carrots...
33 beets and 7 carrots…

I will most likely dig up a potato plant tomorrow and see what I got on my second attempt at growing a potato. If there is 28 potatoes again. I may have to find someone to take them. I just can not eat potatoes due to health reasons and I have eaten too many now. We will see…

Looks like the soil was too hard under the carrots and next year, I will make sure the carrot rows are extra deep in well worked soil. The beets were just fine, just as the onions were perfect. But carrots is something I have never grown successfully before and I call these ugly, but successful… 🙂

Carrots are not an issue, I will eat them everyday, but beets are an issue, for I have to pace myself with them. I am diabetic and beets and potatoes will bother me if I eat them too many and too fast. Potatoes a 100 times worse than beets, but beets will get me, occasionally… (Carrots do not, no matter how sweet they are?)

Time for borscht and carrot salad…

What a wonderful day…

The birds woke me up at 5 a.m. and they were singing to beat the band. A grouchy woodpecker was screaming at them to shut up and Boza and I went outside and hunted him down. We politely told him to shut up, for we like our songbirds and Mr. Woodpecker was not welcome. He screeched at us and flew away to go pick on someone else… 🙂

Purple PlumsThe weather is perfect this morning, 12 degrees centigrade and dry. I took the camera on the walk, but really I just walked and gawked. I did find three trees of almost ripe purple plums, but apples just did not happen this year and purple plums almost didn’t happen. I did find a bunch of yellow plums and no one but me seems to care about them. So I ate breakfast as I walked today. I will do the same for the next few days, as the yellow plums are perfect and everywhere…

* * * * * * * * * *

waterpumpI took Boza to my favorite spot to sit and watch the birds on the lake. I got up and left for I noticed an issue with the lake pump. It was whining and roaring. I took a picture of it and when I expanded it on the camera screen, I realized that the intake on the river side was almost blocked. and the pump would burn up soon, thus I took off to wake the guys at the fish house to fix it. I got all the way to the main road about two hundred meters and realized that Boza was not with me. I could see him still sitting and watching the birds. I walked back as silently as I could and snapped a picture of him, deep in thought and totally oblivious to the fact I had left…

Boza the thinker...

I do know that when he would realize I was gone, he would panic and when he does that, he makes a like pig like sound, a small faint squeal.  But today, he was totally absorbed in life on the lake. There was his favorite ducks and the fish were jumping all over. Boza never knew I had even left…

I had to call his name three times, before he realized someone was around. Boza loves nature and I have seen him do this for 15 to 20 minutes at a time and never move. All you see is his head moving to follow birds as they fly around. Boza loves birds and wants to fly…

That is my log seat and that is Boza’s spot as we watch the beautiful lake and wildlife…

Then Boza went with me and we woke the fish guys up. насос (nasos) is pump in Russian (I learned this word a few weeks ago, as I needed a fuel pump for the car!) and I repeated it and pointed down the road, they gathered the issue and one took off running in his skivvies. For these pumps are very expensive…

* * * * * * * * * *

It will be hot again today (I know 27 degrees Celsius is not hot to many of you, but when life is mostly mid teens temperature, it is hot,) therefore, I have work to do this morning and need to get going. Boza has straw bossing to do and I have to do what he says… 😉

Have a nice day and by the way, the hate comments have stopped, death threats, commie hate and many other nasty things has stopped. Burnzone, the new comment system, has really nipped the trash in the bud. I just make sure that bad words have been added to the list of moderation and anyone who is nice should be able to see their comment immediately. We lost the last few months comments and that seems to be the way it is…

Again have a nice day, for Boza and I will…

Village water issues…

imagesYesterday brought to a head and issue that has become almost serious in our village. This year the village is very busy, due to the monastery putting into high gear the promotion of itself. Yesterday hundreds of people came up our hill to see the monastery and it was hot, dry and people need water. The monastery is negligent about this situation and not taking care of water for the many people coming up the hill…

Now we have barely enough water for the villagers, because the villagers are mainly from the city and they like many city dwellers, have water to waste. Thus, while they may think they conserve, when they fill inflatable swimming pools with our drinking water, then we have issues. Now it is not just city people causing issues. We have several full time village dwellers that are use to having access to the water wells and no one else around…

There is one lady in particular, that lives here full time and as soon as the well was filled the day before yesterday and then yesterday she put a hose in the well at 6 a.m. and pumped it dry to the bottom, right into her garden, storage tanks and other containers. She took every last drop that she could get and left nothing for the largest section of the village…

This left everyone coming down the hill to our well and taking all of our water. Then we had hundreds of people who needed water as they walked all over the village and stared at the monastery and there was many children and elderly. I ended up putting a bucket near our well and allowing people to use it to bring up water to drink. This morning we have no water!

The rest of the village city dwellers, emptied the well yesterday afternoon. I watched one fill up a huge inflatable pool. Three kids had a blast and I can appreciate such fun, but they used our only drinking water and our system is budgeted. The electricity and water usage is under control of the local governmental services in a big village. There is very little money for water service, because no one pays their bill or cares to pay a bill for water. They do not live here in the tiny village and don’t care…

The monastery stole their water tower and buried their own well years ago when I first came here and now they are also taking all of our water… 😐

The pump has to be conserved, for it pumps from around a 1000 meters deep and when it goes out, it can take months to get a new pump installed. The money is not available for such niceties and luxuries. These are things that city people all my life have abused in small towns…

I watched all this yesterday while I worked in the yard. People came and went and they all needed water, for it seems no one brought water or even food. I was thinking that maybe we need a kiosk of drinks and quick food. The spot we are located in is perfect for such a item and there are days it would sell like crazy…

Therefore, we have a reviving monastery that is taking all of our drinking water, we have city people using our water for the kids swimming pools, we have several grouchy full time villagers hoarding the water and then about twenty of us who seem to be unable to get water to even drink half the time…

Bathing is no problem and swimming is no problem, we have twenty lakes and a beautiful river for swimming and bathing issues. The Fish Village even has a nice swimming beach for everyone to use. But hey, the river is right down the hill…

I have learned, I keep one huge bucket in a shaded space, one small bucket in the house covered for drinking, one large bucket in the sun for washing up and two medium buckets as backup, in case a hundred people get straws and suck our well dry… 🙂

Oh, we call a well колодец (kolodets) and right now our kolodets is empty and a bunch of it is in a three ring inflatable swimming pool right down the hill with a group of who I call “weekend warriors,” who will be gone by tomorrow to go home to Moscow and party for the real weekend. They spend half a day hauling water by hand, so that their child can play in the water, as they stare at a wonderful lake a hundred meters away…

Coffee Thoughts and some creamer…

Coffee-iconI treated myself, I bought some real cream for my coffee. Not much, just enough to have three cups worth. That is all the treat that I need and that is all it takes to make me happy. Though without a doubt, if I could get goat milk and goat cream; now that is a coffee, Hmm Hmm…

I had a compliment yesterday and it made me feels good. Nikolai my neighbor goes to town with me on Tuesdays and he is a man who is in great shape for 84 years old. I mean he is in really good shape. He takes pride in himself and does pushups, chin ups and several other exercises everyday. Every morning he is out in his yard and trying to stay young. It seems to work…

Thus, yesterday when he pointed at a huge fat man, whom I imagined I look like, he shook his head, I patted my belly and he looked at me and said basically maybe not in this order of words, “нет, вы энергичный сильный!” or kinda translates to, “No, you energetic – strong!” Then he patted my belly and gave thumbs up…

Then I decided to look at myself in a mirror and I have lost a lot of weight, not near enough in my opinion, but enough to show…

I still have a belly, but I have lost most of my double chin, excess weight on the arms and legs and my belly is half the size it was. I climb, walk, and work, thus the weight loss is good. I eat, drink and allow nature to do her work as I walk and build fences, repair roofs and other good things…

I want to show you how much the western news is lying about Russia…

The images above is yesterday in the Magnet Store. This is how the store is from when it opens to when it closes, it is not the only store, but the town is busy and this shows it. The image above is also an image that I finally got taken, after asking several people to let me take it people free. They obliged and I grabbed a quick snap. This is how the shelves look in any store I go to. We do not have a lack of product, it is Russian made and it is a damn fine quality and product. Everything is Russian made in a Magnet Magazine (store,) thus we know we eat good product…

In a market in the big village (about 7ooo people,) this is what you get; busy and good quality. Prices are cheap and we are always having to wait in line, Russians are good about lines at cashiers and cashiers are good about being grouchy… 🙂

This particular store is restocked three times a day, that means three huge truck deliveries a day. There is many other stores to buy food from here, but, I like Magnet for the price is cheap all the way around and all the product is now 100% Russian. The Russians have grabbed the bull by the horns and are producing products like crazy. It is just plain wonderful to see it happening…

I see article after article about how we are all starving in Russia and no one has any money to buy food, even if they could find it to buy…

I guess that is why I am losing weight, I am starving; this American is starving in Russia, please send donations. I am starving and need lots of money to buy the last chunks of moldy bread on the shelves. Please send donations to Windows to Russia! ~Sarc~

IMG0814AWell since I am starving with the Russians; I thought I would write just a little more and then go walk the dog. Maybe Boza and I can find some roadkill to eat while we walk…

I started to paint the worse side of the house. It is so weathered that I am having to prime it first and then hopefully one or two coats of final paint will do. I am using a white base and it sucks it up instantly. You can see the white and that was 5 liters so far…

IMG0817AThen I moved the gate today in a many hour process…

The original gate post snapped off at the ground. I have been treating it carefully, but we seem to be grand central station for the monastery. Everyone and their brother come into our yard and ask direction and ask for water and and and…

I had it locked and someone decided that when something does not open the first time, then pull harder. They pulled as hard as they can and walla, I had a broken gate. This is the same gate that months ago, I broke my finger on…

I then proceeded to be nice and get the people their water. Then after they left, I cussed a few words of love to the sky and decided today is the day. I ripped out the old gate, filled the spot with new fence and took the chain link from the new spot I chose and finished the old area like new (Well as new as old wood can get!.) No gate at the main road and nobody will bug me, unless they holler at me first. Then I started on the new spot…

I installed the gate to swing inwards and put on a spring to pull it shut. I will put some padding to buffer the slamming of the gate, or maybe Sveta will let me get a screen door closure and slow it down with that. Now I can carry things in my arms and just push against the gate to open it. Kinda nice… 🙂

And golly, I just smashed my broken finger, the one a week ago I broke, once! Oh yes and that hurt like (well you know) and bled like a stuck (well you know!)

http://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/russia-haunted-by-starvation-burns-its-food

This is one of simply hundred of thousands of articles recently or millions and millions of articles yearly; being churned out by the west. These articles are pure lies and fabrication, with the wording of even truth, being twisted to meet the western agenda…

Yes 90% of western media is trash and that is that…

Oh and I have to walk, for Boza and I are starving and we need to go dig roots or something to eat. I heard that pine roots and nuts can be eaten and we have lots of pines. Just do not tell the Russians, for they are all starving and would eat all the forests in Russia… ~Sarc~

Get a grip on life people and question your media, question your politicians and quit putting the same trash back in the government time and time again. New trash is old trash; they all come from the same two identical parties called Republican and Democrats…

Wake up people…

Have a nice day…

Russian Mouse Trap: Video

Sveta dislikes having a mouse around the village home, but she also even more, dislikes killing the mice. So since the little mice were very brave and very stupid. I just waited and decided to trap and move the mice one at a time to the forest…

We noticed that two little mice had decided that since it was cold outside and we had a nice warm village home, that they would move in with us. They were so fond of Boza’s left over scraps of dog food in his bowl that I decided that we could trap them one morning. We ate our breakfast and Boza ate his breakfast and then as we set and enjoyed coffee and tea, The mice came to eat their breakfast…

Since they were part of the family and you never kill family, no matter how big of a pain they are! The video shows you how we removed our unwanted family members and set them up in the forest with a nice new home. Actually I trapped and Sveta found a new home for the little ones. Boza just ignored the whole situation and slept… 🙂

Sveta set the video uploaded last night and as she watched it a dozen times, every time the lid would clang she giggled. She was so happy to remove the mice and not kill them. The video she took tickled her and I am sure that as she watches this video on my website, she will giggle some more…

I just love Sveta so much and life with her in Russia is perfect…

This is a Boza walk…

Boza and I walk four or five times a day. I should say, I walk steadily and Boza runs ahead and waits. I plod along and keep going, Boza leaves me in the dust and then sometimes is even asleep when I find him. Unless we find a kitty, then Boza is left behind by me… 🙂

These images are from one walk and only a few of the images that I took, because he stopped and waited twenty times…

Yes Boza and I walk… 🙂

Russia Is Preparing for Nuclear War with the US and Its Allies

This is an article that I have posted and reposted in full to make sure the information gets spread. That way if one site goes down, others will have the information to pass on. The facts in this article are simply that, “Facts!” Russia and China are and have been getting ready for World War and the American/West is behind the Eight Ball…

* * * * * * * * * *

We post the following letter from David K. Lifschultz, President of Genoil, Inc. whose offices are at One Rockefeller Center, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10020. David has been promoting his firm for many years; the company owns patents to a process which converts heavy oil into light oil at an economically advantageous cost.

We think his warnings are extremely serious and merit the consideration of our readers.

From David K. Lifschultz, January 11, 2105:

In view of the Gorbachev warning of nuclear war over the Ukraine, I resend again the analysis of Trotsky’s “No Peace: No War” and a military review of Russia’s capabilities.

Subject: “No War: No Peace” Commissar Leon Trotsky:

It is probably more accurate to describe the today’s war of Germany against Russia as a The Hundreds Years’ War starting in 1914, as Russia and Germany were allies in the Franco-Prussian War of 1870-1871. These wars were interspersed as it has been by truces. The German plans at the 1914 commencement of The Hundreds Years’ War were reflected during their Brest-Litovsk negotiations to annex Russian Poland, and the Ukraine was to be detached from Russia as an independent state under German protection. The Baltic States were to be annexed by Germany. The goals are exactly the same today in nature if not form.

It is important to note that the form of Empire or Imperialism changed in its form but not its nature after World War Two. In World War Two Roosevelt’s war aims were to dismantle and take over five empires: that of Great Britain, France, the Netherlands, Germany and Japan. In other words, the United States inherited the control of the seas from Britain and their entire Empire as well as the others. This, or course, explains how our actions in French Indochina and our actions in British Iraq were no different than our predecessors. The use of the Cross against the Hammer and Sickle was just a ruse. The Korean and Vietnam Wars were part of the struggle against the Soviets where Stalin had large number of Russian aircraft and flyers directly participate in combat with the Americans in the Korean War. Empire was no longer called Empire but the incorporation into the free market system of the United States. Discipline is created by sanctions as in the case of Iran or war as in the case of Libya, Iraq, Syria, etc. The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics completely replicated the geostrategic policies of the Tsars substituting Bolshevism for Christianity as their New Jerusalem and Stalin admired greatly Ivan The Terrible who is shown in Stalin’s 1944 movie on Ivan IV of Russia always crushing Boyar rebellions as Tsar Stalin crushed continuous opposition from the Bolshevik Boyars.

The Germans saw a golden opportunity in the collapse of Russia under the drunken Yeltsin by creating looting operations and destroying the Russian economy, and moved into the Balkans staging massacres, ethnic unrest and rebellion in Croatia, Slovenia, and latter Kosovo until the old Yugoslavia was totally destroyed as a force and ally of Russia. The entire effort was to lay Russia lower and lower to paraphrase Ludendorff explaining his funding of the Bolshevik Revolution. Germany pulled the plug on Russia in the 1998 Russian financial crisis, and then fomented the bombing of Belgrade for 78 days starting on March 24, 1999 as a replication of the German bombing of Belgrade in April, 1941 under their Operation Retribution. They did this through staged massacres in Kosovo that were reported as fake in the Manchester Guardian and later proven so by an extensive investigation. There was no blood or cartridges by the bodies which indicated that the corpses were shot up after they were dead, and these incidents were conducted under the German BND (Bundesnachrichtendienst) in accordance with their historical Sudetenland style provocations. Only, they delegated the work to the Albanians who were incompetent.

Commissar Trotsky had walked out of the initial Brest-Litovsk peace negotiations stating “No War: No Peace” and would not sign the peace treaty. The Soviets refused to accept the dismemberment of their nation and the destruction of their national security. You might say this is where Germany likes to think of itself today sitting with its hand on Russia’s throat but there is going to be a role reversal in the near future.

The peace negotiations were later resumed after Germany seized most of the Ukraine, Belarus, and the Baltic countries. As the Lenin government was about to collapse, the Germans demanded the cession of Dunaburg, Livonia, and Estonia to Germany, cession of western Armenia to Turkey, and recognition of an independent Ukraine. All Russian troops had to leave the Ukraine and Finland and the Russian Army had to be completely demobilized. The treaty cut out of Russia a quarter of its population and industry and nine-tenths of its coal. Essentially Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus and the Ukraine were ceded to Germany. When Field Marshall von Hindenberg was asked why Germany needed the Baltic States, he said “to secure my left flank when the next war happens”, which took place on June 22, 1941. We are now in a continuation of that war.

Europe has not returned to the 1930s as they never left the 1930s. The great powers are maneuvering in Europe in a declared war against each other (President Franklin Delano Roosevelt when asked in 1940 why he did not embargo oil to Japan explained that this would have been a declaration of war. He launched the embargo on July 25, 1941. So any suggestion that the EU and the United States are not in a state of war with Russia is false.) The tiny powers in the Baltic and Poland, and some others, are screaming hysterically against Russia as they did against Germany in 1939, and they do not realize that they are pawns to the great powers who will do with them as they will. They have short memories about Germany. Nobody really cares about the populations of Poland or the Ukraine, or the others, as Poland learned after the British murdered General Wladyslaw Sikorski over the dismemberment of Poland demanded by Stalin and the Katyn massacres.

An ideal peace treaty in this situation would be the return to Poland of the western Ukraine that was theirs before World War Two, the return of East Prussia to Germany that Stalin took from them, and the return of the Eastern Provinces of the Ukraine to Russia whose population had always been part of Russia, and the withdrawal of Poland from NATO. Such a proposal if it reached the populations of Russia, Poland and Germany would be hugely popular though the leadership of Germany will settle for no less than the complete dismemberment of Russia as in 1914. In addition, the eastern European members of NATO should become neutral and all western missile systems withdrawn. They are not necessary anyway as we have submarine missile systems offshore Russia. Whether the S-500 can stop them as the Russians think or not is immaterial as that base is just as well covered by sea as by land. That is what the Trident nuclear submarine fleet accomplished as far back as during the Presidency of Ronald Reagan.

The difference now is that the Russians constitute the strongest military power in the world today and that is why you do not see them making threats as Germany and the United States as they hold all the cards. See our “Playing Russian Roulette With The Russians”. There is a lot of disinformation circulating about star wars laser defense capacity in outer space that can shoot down ICBMs and cruise missile of the west but this is pure science fiction. Their exists considerable resistance in outer space to laser beams, and though not as much as on the earth, it cannot begin to reach down to ICBMs as well as surface missiles. Russia can use financial default as a potential financial weapon of mass destruction for their 600 billion plus mostly private debt in dollar terms to western nations and banks, and also can implode the entire world by cutting off their natural gas and oil to the west crashing a quadrillion of derivatives. They have not issued one major threat against Germany and the United States despite being provoked daily with barrage after barrage of lunatic propaganda comparing Putin with Hitler as Saddam Hussein, Muammar Gaddafi, and others. They are preparing their offensive and defensive missiles for war and massively accelerating their rollout. Patience in the Russians is not weakness but strength. The military situation of the west is deteriorating daily and Russia will soon be ready.

Russian Military Capabilities:

The Russian Topol M ICBM is the world’s fastest missile at 21 Mach (16,000 miles an hour) and there is no defense. If launched from Moscow, it can hit Washington or New York City in 18 minutes. It can hit Chicago in 18.6 minutes. and 22.8 minutes to Los Angeles. The Russian submarines and the Chinese submarines can launch offshore the United States striking coastal targets within a minute. The Chinese submarines have surfaced next to United States aircraft carriers undetected. If the aircraft carrier could not detect the submarines, it can be deduced that United States land defenses can also not detect the submarines offshore the United States in time. The Chinese and Russian are focusing their naval effort on submarines as surface warships are obsolete as they cannot be defended against contemporary Russian and Chinese missiles and they are out producing us in submarines which is such a vital strategic area. It is important to carefully reread this rewritten analysis demonstrating that the MAD defensive doctrine no longer exists. This doctrine forestalled major wars for nearly seventy years as the United States and the Soviet Union had close enough parity to negate the use of nuclear weapons. Russia also had a conventional defense with their buffer states reaching into East Germany which gave them a conventional cushion that is now gone. The prerequisites for MAD are no longer the case as this study demonstrates. It also predicts that we face a very realistic possibility of a major war in Europe within six to twelve months after the Russians complete their defensive missile rollout of S-500 anti-missile missiles which will seal their country off from ICBMs and cruise missiles. (The Russians will only admit as to the S-500 that it will be rolled out in 2016, but informed sources say it is being rolled out now. Also, the fact that the very advanced S-400 is soon being delivered to China implies that they are holding back their operational S-500) The Russians see Brzezinski’s effort to destroy Russia step by step from the Balkans, to the eastern expansion of NATO into eastern Europe to the Ukraine. The Russians know that Brzezinski will not be satisfied until all of Russia is dismantled and destroyed as a nation, and therefore they realize they face an existential threat to their very existence. You do not do this to a country unless you plan war and that is exactly what Kerry and Nuland are doing. The loss of Christian Russia to China is the greatest strategic blunder of the west since the 1949 loss of China to Russia but worse as both are more powerful than then. It is natural for Russia not to talk as they are stalling for time until the S-500+ defenses saturate Russia.

This is a considerably updated version where I added the deep concern in our military over the Chinese development of missiles to hit our military satellites. The Germans similarly underestimated the Russian military capability as I pointed out regarding the T-34 tank. Hagel came out recently saying that we were now behind. I also added the jamming capacity of the Russian missiles against the Aegis Combat System. All of this is open source. The data on the jamming came from the information on the strike of the Russian missile on the Israeli INS Hanit offshore Lebanon as released by DEBKA. (DEBKA disputed the Israeli government statement that the jamming systems were turned off and they were not. Also, the editor of DEBKA told me it was a Russian missile though Israel says it was Chinese.) What is not referred to below is non-open source which makes the situation even more grave. The Russians are testing the NATO and United States response times by their aerial penetrations. While the United States spent a trillion dollars looking for ten people in Afghanistan, and another two trillion looking for non-existent WMDs in Iraq, the Russians and the Chinese have been spending massive amounts of money on investments in new technologies to jump one or two generations ahead of the United States. And they have succeeded. Now, in the most colossal strategic blunder in the history of the United States, Victoria Nuland has succeeded in creating a geopolitical catastrophe greater than when Tito took over the Balkans and Chairman Mao China, and these two combined with the Soviet Union gave nearly the entire Eurasian land mass to Bolshevism. She has joined the formerly sleeping Dragon that Napoleon warned never to wake up, a modernized China, with Russia almost as a parallel to the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact of 1939 which shook the entire world. What is so incredible about this is that Russia is now Christian and had opened their arms to the western Christendom, and we are now trying to kick down the door of their house as Germany tried on June 22, 1941. This earthquake that is considerably over ten on the Richter scale has not been detected by any of the corporate media which control the news in the west in the manner of an old Pravda. And Victoria Nuland is still at her post! The last time around when something like this happened we had the McCarthy era explosion charging George Marshall with treason for stopping the supplies to Chiang Kai-shek while the Soviets turned over to Chairman Mao all the Japanese equipment that was surrendered to the Soviets. The new Russia-China alliance is worse than the Soviet-undeveloped Mao China alliance by many dimensions. The Russians and the Chinese can muster 120 million troops (100 million for China and 20 million for Russia) sporting the most advanced strategic nuclear missile and anti-missile equipment in the world. Nor have we discussed the problem of the detonating of a nuclear bomb above the United States which could engender a dire saturation of the United States with electromagnetic pulse signals that would shut down every electronic device and computer in the country.

There is below not a very worthwhile review of Russian capabilities by the Council of Foreign Relations. Their strategic nuclear capabilities are compared to the United States based on numbers but not by quality. For example, the Russian ICBM armed with MIRVs travels at about 21 Mach (16,000 miles an hour, flight distance between Moscow and Washington, D. C. is 4,874 miles, or 18 minutes away) which is far faster than that of the United States and basically cannot be defended against. Their S-500 we understand is being rolled out so this is a dated study according to an informed source, and the fact the Russians are going to give the Chinese the S-400 implies that they must have something better in reserve. The S-400 will make China invincible to United States air power and ICBM and cruise missiles.

It is traditional for the Russians to understate and conceal what they have. Our sources estimate they far exceed the estimates in this study. When the Russian tank experts toured under the guidance of Panzer General Guderian the German tank production facilities they kept asking Guderian where were their larger tanks. Guderian had a very uncomfortable feeling that the Russians had bigger ones that they were not showing. The German tank generals Paul Ludwig Ewald von Kleist and Heinz Guderian were shocked in 1941 to encounter the T-34 which was far larger than the largest German tank and these generals described it as “the deadliest tank in the world.” It possessed the best firepower, mobility, protection, and ruggedness of any tank. Its 76.2 3 inch high-velocity gun was the best tank gun in the world; its heavy sloped armor was impenetrable by standard anti-tank weapons, and furthermore it was very agile. The Germans had to aim their anti-aircraft guns at the tank to stop it.

It is astonishing to see such a Russian superiority when you look at the GDPs of France, Germany, England and the United States, but none had anything of the equivalent. We find this now. It is not GDP in the end that wins wars as the Spanish Armada found out off the shore of England.

In a sense, this is the S-500 which makes the Patriot anti-missile missile look like a dated V-2 of World War Two. Nor is there a discussion of the Kornet anti-tank missile that knocked out the Merkava Tank of the IDF which was regarded then as the most formidable tank in the world, and it was a defenseless as a cavalry charge into machine gun fire. The IDF commanders told me that it made tank warfare obsolete. The Israeli INS Hanit was according to reliable sources hit by a Russian missile fired from Lebanon in July of 2006 16 kilometers offshore which passed through the most sophisticated United States jamming equipment sending shock waves through the Israeli Defense Forces and the United States Military. The implications were dire. The only way surface ships such as battleships and aircraft carriers can avoid being hit by fifty missiles launched at one time such as the Russian SS-N-27 Sizzler is by jamming their targeting mechanism for otherwise the Aegis Combat System of the Navy could be overwhelmed.

The Russian Iskander missile travels 7 times the speed of sound which has a range of 400 km, can carry a 700 kg warhead of several varieties, and has a circular error probability of around five meters. This makes it deadly to airfields, logistics points and other stationary infrastructure along a broad front of conflict. The Iskander can threaten targets deep in Europe. The entire western way of war depends on the achievement of air supremacy. Rommel says as much at Normandy that the aerial bombing smashed the best trained troops and at the battle of the Kerch Peninsula Field Marshall Wolfram Freiherr von Richthofen’s air attacks inflicted casualties of up to 50% on the Soviet force, and though initially outnumbered, the then general Erich von Manstein’s Eleventh Army won a decisive victory that earned him the Field Marshall’s baton. It would be a necessity for NATO to knock out these Iskanders but they would have to face the S-400 surface to air missile which the Russians can layer in defense zones in nearly every conceivable theater of conflict. Positioning the S-400 at Kaliningrad could endanger NATO air operations deep in Europe. It would be nearly impossible for the NATO fighters to penetrate this layered screen of S-400s, and based on the astronomical cost of the NATO fighters, the loss of a single aircraft very nearly would represent a national fiscal catastrophe. We could go on and on from weapon to weapon, though the purpose of this review is not to exhaustively examine the subject but to drive the point home about the strategic weakness of the United States forces.

But this is not all. This study does not tell us anything of NATO capabilities. But we have below that they are so limited that Russia admits that they are not effective at all. President Kennedy was transfixed in fear of having to have only a threat of a nuclear attack to defend western Europe, and built up the conventional capacity so that he did not have to launch a nuclear war to defend Europe. But that is not the situation now. There even cannot be any question of a buildup of conventional capacity as the Russians have said below that they would use their tactical nuclear weapons and more to defend themselves against a conventional attack so that sending a hundreds of thousands of troops as at Normandy as is out of the question. And based on the S-400 and S-500, it is questionable if any of our ICBM or cruise missiles can get through.

The Chinese who have just completed significant economic treaties with Russia on natural gas deliveries and the sale of S-400 defensive missiles, and combined with secret protocols, creates a new alliance combining a huge portion of the Eurasian land mass. The Chinese have not been slack in their own weapons development bouncing lasers off satellites, developing missiles that can hit the satellites, silent submarines that surface beside our aircraft carriers without detection, and their own anti-missile missile that can hit a reentering satellite moving faster than any ICBM. The ability to knock out satellites would temporarily demobilize the entire ICBM arsenal and force its conversion to land control of the missile’s guidance. In the midst of a nuclear exchange, this could be disastrous. The pace of the rollout of these submarines by China and Russia far exceeds that of the United States, and since we have demonstrated that the surface fleet is obsolete as it cannot be defended, then the United States is losing the arms race in the most vital part of their Navy. The Chinese and Russian submarines can surround the west and east coasts of the United States, and their nuclear cruise missiles can turn the United States into a nuclear turkey shoot. The mobilization capacity of the Chinese Army is 100 million men under arms. If you combine that with the Russian superiority in weapons, and their ability to field probably 20 million men, the EU faces overwhelming potential forces to their east. The Zbigniew Brzezinski bluff in the Ukraine has been called, and he has created the greatest strategic blunder since we lost China in 1949. He has undid the work of Richard Nixon when he broke apart the China-Russian alliance which is why Kissinger has referred to this madness as “fatal”. The recent treaties between China and Russia can be compared to the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact of 1939.

And yet we see the Baltic states and Poland and other border states as before World War Two screaming bloody murder instead of trying to get along with Russia and expecting us to launch a nuclear war that we may very well lose to defend 1.3 million people in Estonia as Britain and France went to war over the city of Danzig. And was it not Poland who at Munich participated in the retrieving their former territory from Czechoslovakia as Russia is trying to do in the Crimea and Eastern Provinces that were given to the Soviet Republic of the Ukraine by Lenin in 1919 (Eastern Provinces) and Khrushchev in 1954 (Crimea)? Who can defend the treachery of the Versailles Treaty? (It was not the Soviet or Russian intention to ever see these separated from Russia and was granted conditional on these areas being part of the Ukrainian Russia. Certainly Eastern Prussia should be also returned to Germany and Eastern Poland to Poland to undo Stalin’s treachery after the war.) Since when should we be responsible for Estonia as some sort of world policeman and lose potentially hundreds of millions of Americans over countries that 99% of the American people do not even know anything about and have no strategic significance. And why should we be paying for the defense of Europe at all when their GDP is larger than ours.

Since present United States military doctrine does not preclude preemptive strikes of nuclear weapons, and the Russians have said that they will use tactical nuclear weapons to defend Russia against a conventional attack if not more, and they have 5,000 tactical nuclear weapons to hardly any for ourselves, it means that the so-called MAD doctrine that kept the nuclear peace between the Soviet Union and the United States no longer governs. If we see now that the Russians have the superiority in strategic nuclear and defensive weapons, and they do, and they see the GDP of the United States and the EU being ten times theirs, the window of opportunity to defend themselves could disappear in ten years subjecting them to a preemptive attack. We understand that a massive deployment of the S-400 and S-500 is taking place at the present time, and it has dramatically accelerated in the last six months according to informed sources.

Once many thousands of them are deployed sufficient to block a nuclear attack by the United States, the window of opportunity of a first strike for Russia will then exist. If we interpret sanctions as an act of war as Japan did when we sanctioned all deliveries of oil to them on July 25, 1941, and it certainly was an act of war, then the Russian planners may consider themselves forced to launch a first strike to preserve the existence of their nation. If they wait, the west may develop new weapons to defend themselves, and be in a position to launch the preemptive strike themselves against Russia. The war hysteria we saw a few months ago in the United States must have set off alarm bells in Russia. Therefore, we should expect Russia to be as quiet as possible for the next six to twelve months while they deploy their missiles, and once they are in place, then we may well enter into the greatest existential crisis in the history of the west.

The Russian Potato is a Dessert…

potatocandyWhen I first came to Russia I was leery of a dessert in that was not cooked. It is called the “potato!”  The potato is found in most stores that sell food in Moscow and or in the refrigerator of a babushka. Just look for the tortes section and or get to know a babushka and you will find the potato and eclairs that will make your taste buds dance…

After finding out what was in the dessert I realized that it lacked any ingredients that would make it a problem if not cooked. So I created my own recipe and I removed the cognac or brandy that most other recipes call for because I really dislike the taste of the potato when it is included…

Russian dessert cake called “Potato“.  Adding any nuts and raisin will make “The Potato” taste even better. These cakes are usually rolled in breadcrumbs but many times not rolled in anything at all. The result is amazing. You will surely appreciate the taste and flavor of these cakes…

Ingredients for Russian Potato:

* 1 1/4 lbs (600 g) Use any cookie, for that matter, even chocolate chips cookies work. Butter cookies are great. Just use a cheap store bought cookie and make life easier…
* 3 tablespoons cocoa
* 50 grams raisins (or dried prunes)
* 100 grams almond (or other nut)
* 1/2 cup (150 g) butter
* 1 can condensed milk

Cooking Instructions:

1. Grind cookies, raisins and almond nuts using a meat grinder, crush in a food processor or chop in a blender…

2. In a large bowl mix and combine butter, cocoa and condensed milk…

3. Then add ground up mixture of nuts, cookies and raisins. Mix everything well. It will produce a very thick almost clay like substance. That is exactly what you want…

4. Form little bars then you may or may not roll them in crumbled bread. I do not. I do sometimes roll them in more of the ground shortening cookies though and even in cinnamon…

5. Place in a fridge for half an hour and then serve. If stored for over night cover loosely in the fridge…

Yummy!

Windows to Russia…

PS: Yes you may add cognac or brandy to enhance these for your taste. A shot will do it, but maybe you need to add an extra cookie of two… 😉

These are very rich and perfect with a cup of hot tea and or coffee…

Just when I was running out of fruit…

Yesterday, I was thinking to myself, “Self, I have eaten all the fruit and berries in the yard!”

Then an hour later, across the road, Nikolai comes with a huge bowl of fresh ripe yellow plums. The purple plums did not produce this year, but the yellow plums, which did not produce last year, are abundant…

Yellow Plums...
Yellow Plums…

I guess he heard me thinking about buying fruit and said to himself, “Self, we can not have him do that!” and over he came… 😉

Now that is a friend and, “Oh My!” They are good…

Then this morning Boza and I woke up to this…

The great foggy bottoms...
The great foggy bottoms…

This is at 4:30 a.m. and I just love it when the valley looks like this in the morning, for Boza and I like to walk into the fog. Who knows what evil lurks in such a fog… 🙂

Have a nice day…

31,000 Plus comments later and still trying to find them all…

Coffee-iconHalf of yesterday and all night, plus still trying to gather all the comments associated with Windows to Russia this morning. Over the many years that I have been blogging, WTR has had close to half a million plus comments. Most were lost during several DDoS attacks several years ago, staged by the land of the free and home of the brave. I made and filed official complaints and word came back to me years ago, “Tough @#$%!”

So I made myself learn how to counteract such attacks by the powers to be…

Thus when this last attack happened, I only lost a small percent of my data and in fact I may have reincorporated some new data back into the system. Last look at the poor gatherer of past comments, has netted me 31, 256 comments back online in the database. Now while that is a far cry from the 500,000 plus missing comments, that is a far cry better than 5000 comments that I had built up since the first of 2015. You see, over the years I have used various 3rd party comment systems and today at this moment, I am importing comments from everything I ever used. Therefore, while still a drop in the bucket, it is at least wetting the bucket bottom now…

WTR lives under a continual attack. The second I think everything is cool and they do not care anymore. Boom, WTR is smacked around, just to show that the USA government still loves me and wants me to feel that love…

So every time I read about how Russia hacked this and China attacked that on the cyber world of lies. I have to chuckle to myself and think about the hundred times that my government has tried to shut down WTR. From Blogger Blogspot and being banned, from lawsuits against certain posts and even having my American based hosting shut me down. I have learned and accepted the crap, because no one cares and no one will do anything about it…

You can think what you want, but there is a reason that they try relentlessly to shut WTR down. I know more than you accept and understand and what I talk about is hard hitting against the American way of control and submission…

If I post how wonderful Russia is I am attacked, for the fact that an American is living in a Russian Village and is happy, able to embrace the natives, goes against all the hate coming from the US government about Russia. If I tell the truth about America and tell you from what I know, then I am a terrorist and my site has to be attacked. For when someone who has seen what I have seen and done what I did for the land of the free and the home of the killers. They dislike that even more than talking good about Russia…

It would not matter what I talk about and what country I favored, They do not want me writing, for what I write is what I see and what I experience and what I have experienced. They do not like it for I am not controlled and not confined, as I bought my way out of America many years ago. That cost me an arm and a leg, to speak furtively, but truthfully, I would have given an arm and leg to get out of that prison country…

Does anyone stop and think why they attack WTR?

Maybe I am saying something that is just plain truth!

I say things like, “The world is a wonderful place, it is full of caring and beautiful people. These people just want to live and let live, but many and I mean hundreds of millions of these caring people are threatened with their lives everyday, by a country that spouts democracy, freedom and liberty as its calling insignia. We Americans/Westerns, be us from Canada, USA, Australia, Britain and a dozen other countries, are indifferent to the death and destruction that we support, either by our inaction or lack of empathy toward our fellow citizens on this planet. There is enough resources for everyone on this planet to live comfortable and healthily, but a we sit in our ivory towers and look out over the vast empire of death, sprawling like an octopus encompassing the globe. We eat our croissant and drink our Starbucks and express our wishes for the next conquest, be it terrorism, war on drugs, brown people, black people and our evil empires; such as Russia and China. Yet, all that we (west) expound on against the world, is nothing but a coverup for our own indiscretions against the planet we call Earth…” – kKEETON at WTR…

Want to hear something that makes no sense?

I will be attacked for stating the obvious to the world, but it is not obvious to Americans. I use to do it also, “They hate us for our freedoms! We are number ONE! Rock on Democracy! Make the world a better place!”

No! Sorry, they hate us because we try to steal their freedoms, liberties and democracies and replace them with a canned version of the USA, in a store bought dictatorship from Washington, DC…

Just look at Ukraine!
