Windows to Russia

A couple of years ago I talked about this and I thought that this would be a great idea. On election ballots the people in Russia have a chance to vote, “Against All!”

Other words, if you think that all candidates suck, then you can vote that they suck, by telling everyone, “I am against All of them!”

I understand that this was part of the older system to vote and now the Duma is talking over bringing it back on a federal level. It is now already being allowed on a local and regional level. Six regions have already voted it in and now the much longer process of being on a federal level will have to start…

I wish the west would do this. Could you imagine the turn out to tell the idiots in office that we do not want any of you. For when you have a vote for “Frick or Frack,” there is nothing to vote for and I remember the last few presidential election is America. It was truly a vote for the lessor of the two evils and both candidates are and have been pathetic…

I am glad Russia is doing this for you have a right to vote for no one and that vote deserves to be heard. For “Nobody” is and can be a powerful candidate…

Windows to Russia…

Wow we have had fantastic weather these holidays, but it soon will end and outside now it is starting to drop, both the snow is blowing and the mercury is going down. I will not complain as we have had wonderful weather and the ground was almost empty of snow. Sometimes we get a break here in Moscow and this year that break from the weather was extended. Those are my thoughts as I sip a cup of wonderful coffee…

I see thousands of articles about how the weather with Russia and America have switched. I see thousands of articles that proclaim Global Warming is to blame. I see thousands of articles blaming HAARP. I see just thousands of articles that blame anything and everything there could be and I see thousands of articles about how terrible it is in America. I realized that all these articles are to distract people and it is working…

I have to say that the Americans are crying as loud as the Russians did years ago when the temperatures in Russia hit record highs and we burned up half the country in wild fires. Seriously the Americans are acting like a bunch of wimps who have frozen butts, just like the Russians acted like a bunch of wimps years ago as they thought their hair was going to catch on fire from the heat. I swear people complain about everything and I hear people complaining about the weather we have had in Moscow, but not me! I won’t complain and I can tell you that Sveta has loved this warm weather…

Oh no! Here comes the cold weather… 🙂

Windows to Russia…

Simonov Monastery (Russian: Симонов монастырь) located near Moscow was originated around 1370 by Feodor the monk, who is a nephew and disciple of famous St Sergius of Radonezh. During the 15th century, the monastery was the wealthiest and most renowned in all of Moscow. Among the famous monks who lived and worked there were Vassian Patrikeyev and Maximus the Greek. The monastery was heavily fortified and as almost all monasteries, it defended the cities that it was near. This monastery defended the south side of Moscow…

The monastery was destroyed by the Bolsheviks in 1923, as were most monasteries in the Soviet Union. This monastery became an automobile plant. Some structures survived and not long ago the Moscow government created plans for a reconstruction of the monastery…

I could have used a picture from today and you really do not see the monastery in her splendor. So I used this beautiful painting of the monastery to show how she looked in the early 1900’s before it was destroyed to make room for the Soviet industrial world…

Coroner Sir Robert Owen has been allowed to carry the immoral torch of Britain’s greater than thy attitude about Russia over this case, by looking for false facts against Russia in this case…

Then suddenly he did an about face – 6 years later and on December 18, he officially issued a formal ruling that removed the Russian involvement from his inquest.

Guess that means the case is dead, for if Russia did not do it. Then who did? (Good question and it should have been thought of before now!)

The case is cold and dead just like Litvinenko and the investigation with Russia’s help should have been in 2006. Instead it was a witch hunt like the world sees all the time from the west and that witch hunt is always there to cover up the facts…

Once again Russia has been proven to have the moral high-ground in world affairs and the west has proven their corruption is reaching its peak…

Windows to Russia…

I realize that you do not look at Windows to Russia as a living breathing creature, but I do and Windows to Russia has a soul all its own. Things are changing slowly on Windows to Russia, but they are going to change…

You may have noticed MP3 soundtracks on some posts. You may have noticed videos ignoring YouTube and such. You will be seeing video broadcasts done by yours truly and other changes will happen…

Windows to Russia is a long term project and never was it expected to be easy or profitable. I would like it to be profitable and maybe one day we will reach that issue head on. Easy it has never been and never will be, for I am alone on this project and will most likely stay that way. Unless someone with serious work ethics wants to come aboard?

The site has been destroyed more than once and by shear tenacity and realization that she had a spark of life left. I kept going and kept pouring money into a whipped entity. I do not think that anyone who has a website would disagree with what I say. A website takes on a life of its own and that site is demanding just like any other living soul. For as with ignoring your cat and not feeding it, a site will die just as fast as that cat. It takes a lot of effort to have a functioning site…

Bottom line is that Windows to Russia will become a variable faucet website that will bring you information in a variety of ways. As always it will be from a perspective of an American living in Russia. Though I admit that more and more I am fed up with the western way of life and one day I may turn away from the west completely. That is my growth and development as per the future and when that day comes, that will be part of what Windows to Russia has been about..

My growth and development in a new world with new people and becoming one of those people…

Windows to Russia…

I sit here and sip my cup of coffee. It is hazelnut flavored and just makes a dreary day better. That is what I think! I think a cup of coffee makes the day better, but that may not be what you think. I really do not care if you like coffee or not. I have chosen to make a narrow themed blog based on my thoughts and my sipping coffee as I live in Russia. Today I decided to tell what I think about several major issues that are destroying our world…

1. Abortion: Other than a few individual cases due to external circumstances and those cases should be dealt with in privacy and peace for all involved. Abortion is just plain wrong. I am a biology major in genetics. I have real issues with aborting a child after conception. For I know as well as anyone that that child is who and what he is at the micro second of fertilization. He or she is what she is and you are killing someone who already has hair color chosen, muscle mass chosen and a thousand other things chosen. That person is who he or she is and killing them is the same as pulling the trigger on a full grown adult. I believe that the decision to not have a baby is made before you “romp in the hey,” so to speak. Oh I know! You have rights and can do what you damn well want to and will abort if you want to. You are right! I just wish that you would have thought about the consequences of your actions, before you slept with that hot linebacker from the college team or that cute bartender at the local pub, last night. Oh, but I realize that you had a few too many to drink… (Sad!)

2. Global Warming: Is a joke to me! Global Warming is a political ploy and is what the governments want you to concentrate ion and run scared from. The truth is, if Global Warming is all we had to worry about, then we do not have any issues. The point blank issue is that we have Global Destruction going on and it is caused by the human race. We have very little to worry about from warming and CO2 gases. What we better worry about is the whole picture and the whole picture is really bad. I truly believe that Mother Nature will take us down and out, if we continue to destroy this planet. We have no idea about how alive everything is around us and as we terrorize the planet. The day is coming that we will be Shaken off like a bad case of fleas!

“We’re so self-important. Everybody’s going to save something now. “Save the trees, save the bees, save the whales, save those snails.” And the greatest arrogance of all: save the planet. Save the planet, we don’t even know how to take care of ourselves yet. I’m tired of this shit. I’m tired of f-ing Earth Day. I’m tired of these self-righteous environmentalists, these white, bourgeois liberals who think the only thing wrong with this country is that there aren’t enough bicycle paths. People trying to make the world safe for Volvos. Besides, environmentalists don’t give a shit about the planet. Not in the abstract they don’t. You know what they’re interested in? A clean place to live. Their own habitat. They’re worried that some day in the future they might be personally inconvenienced. Narrow, unenlightened self-interest doesn’t impress me.

The planet has been through a lot worse than us. Been through earthquakes, volcanoes, plate tectonics, continental drift, solar flares, sun spots, magnetic storms, the magnetic reversal of the poles … hundreds of thousands of years of bombardment by comets and asteroids and meteors, worldwide floods, tidal waves, worldwide fires, erosion, cosmic rays, recurring ice ages … And we think some plastic bags and some aluminum cans are going to make a difference? The planet isn’t going anywhere. WE are!

We’re going away. Pack your shit, folks. We’re going away. And we won’t leave much of a trace, either. Maybe a little Styrofoam … The planet’ll be here and we’ll be long gone. Just another failed mutation. Just another closed-end biological mistake. An evolutionary cul-de-sac. The planet’ll shake us off like a bad case of fleas.

The planet will be here for a long, long, LONG time after we’re gone, and it will heal itself, it will cleanse itself, ’cause that’s what it does. It’s a self-correcting system. The air and the water will recover, the earth will be renewed. And if it’s true that plastic is not degradable, well, the planet will simply incorporate plastic into a new paradigm: the earth plus plastic. The earth doesn’t share our prejudice toward plastic. Plastic came out of the earth. The earth probably sees plastic as just another one of its children. Could be the only reason the earth allowed us to be spawned from it in the first place. It wanted plastic for itself. Didn’t know how to make it. Needed us. Could be the answer to our age-old egocentric philosophical question, “Why are we here?”

3. War: Now war is something I know about. It is something I have been trained for. It is something I have lived through and it is something that is so terrible, that I am the only one left alive from my company in my times of past. I am it and there is no one that shared my experiences next to me. In fact most of them never came home and the ones that did, killed themselves, either by fast suicide or slow suicide. Take your pick and lets just say war sucks and if you support it, then I say you suck. Most likely if you support war, you are an armchair general and think that nothing will happen to you as you sit behind your video games or you just are a warped sick person and thrive on the death of others. We have most of those already in the army or such and they stay for life. See you do suck…

4. Drones: Drones are war and where ever we use them we are at war. That is a bunch of places. Drones do not stop terrorists, but they do stop weddings and lots of civilians. Drones are an example of a society and America is one sick society. God Bless you America as the drones are going to be used against yourself and one day you will be thinking “Terminator” movies. (Soon you may need to register that wedding in the US – Or get droned!)

5. North Korea: Leave them alone! Everything that we think we know about them is a lie and propaganda. North Korea is okay and we (west) are the ones who are psychotically obsessed with them. Leave them alone…

6. Gun Control: I do not like gun control, but that said, “Americans scare me with their “high and mightier than you” attitude and having guns is even scarier when you think about it!”

7. Church: I believe in God, but I do not believe in what we have for religion in America. A long time ago I questioned the money aspect of religions and I see it all over the world. But I deal with America, as it is my home country and religious falsehood is rampant in America…

8. Israel: This is simple! Israel is most likely the biggest mistake that we allowed the west to perpetrate and that means Israel is a huge mistake, for we have made some whoppers in the last hundred years or so. Israel should never have been, nor allowed to continue. It is one of the biggest propaganda lies in the world and after having been to Israel several times and snooped around in a car and not a tourist bus. I found a whole world of suppressed real Jews and a political Jew that should not be allowed the title of being called a Jew and I have found a huge group of millions that are transplanted paid for Jew Wanna Be’s (Many from Russia!)… The west is strong in Israel and I actually think that Israel leads the west in terror and evil. I just feel sorry for the people who are trying to be what they think is correct, for as in America the government in Israel has sold out the souls of those it should be working for…

9. Gay: Now that is a word that pisses me off and it use to be a word for having a good time or having a good feeling. “I am gay,” was associated with good things in life. Then some people went and used the word for people who like their own sex for sex and dislike sex relations with the opposite sex. Nice ploy, use a good word and twist it around to advance your own moral issues. I will never bother a gay and have had many as friends, but do I think it is correct? No! Do I like it? No! (But whether I like it or not is not the issue and tolerance by me is not based on whether I like it!) Do I think that you deserve to live the way you want? Yes! Do I think Gays have a right to be pedestalized and heard above others? No! Do I agree with the Russia way to look at Gays? Yes!

Now that last question was a million dollar question. In Russia we have gays and they are not bothered. It is just that in Russia as with many sexual issues, do not bring these issues in front of the children. Gay issues get very sexual and they get really messy real fast out in the open. I always tell people who come to Moscow and want to know were the gays will be found. A good place is the Gum shopping mall at the Red Square. Go to the top floor and you will find a gay wonderland that will excite you to no end. Sveta and I went there once (top floor) to look around. The top floor is a treasure trove of gay individuals and shops. I said, “Better top floor than bottom floor!”

I am going to end with that bit about gays. I have no religious belief that drives what I think in all the above and I have no political beliefs that drives what I think. I am driven by my experience and my thoughts. I will get death threats for posting this and other hateful things. I could go on all days about issues, like rape! I think that a man or a woman that rapes someone, anyone from kids to adults should be removed from society. Take that how you want…

So I am not here to make your life better by trying to write something that you agree with. If you do not like what I say, start your own blog and tell the world about your feelings. I promise I will stop by and look it over, but if I disagree, I will not be back, nor will I say anything. That is no different than what I expect out of anyone reading my blog. You do not like it, find someone who talks your language and go there…

Windows to Russia…

It is not very long or short for that matter, but it shows part of the processes that the Orthodox goes through at Christmas Eve. It is a very high quality video and it is part of a telecast by RT. There is a commentator who is from another church in Russia and he is trying to give some explanations about what is happening. It seems he is a Russian monk? I have another video this same size and would post it also if anyone is interested…

I had a few people ask me why I would care about the Orthodox processes so much? I care about all religions and maybe a few of you will wake up and see Russia in a whole new light. Orthodoxy is as Russian as you can get and what better way to understand the Russians than to look at what drives them. Morally, culturally and socially…

I think that the video is fantastic and would have recorded hours of it, but I do not have capability on my website to handle anything over 56 megs in size. The video shows you the people that I see everyday in Russia, a person that cares about life, peace and happiness. The stereo type Russians is so far from the truth, that it would be laughable at how the west looks at Russia, except the west believes its own trash talk…

This video is Christmas in Russia and this same process was going on all over Russia on Christmas Eve. I myself have been to experience, in the past, what the Catholics do and this is very much the same experience to me, as I watch…

Windows to Russia…

Many years ago Sveta started to do something that just recently came to light in my mind. We say a prayer before we eat, whether at home or at a restaurant. It is the same prayer and it never varies, but we say it and we mean it…

We say the short version:

God is Great, God is Good;
Let us thank Him for our food…

Amen

I told her about saying prayer before meals was normal as when I was a kid and that people are leaving the prayer in the dust as time goes by. She listened to me, as she always does and that surprises me, for I never had a wife that cared anything about what I said. After she thought about what I said, one day she started to say the prayer. I said it with her and then she never stopped saying it. It was important to her and she has no beliefs at all about that there is a God. The Soviets were just that way in large numbers and besides that past she had, it has become normal for us after all these years, to say grace before every meal. Last night at KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) was no exception. Sveta and I said the prayer. I realized long ago that the food just tastes better after saying thanks and really food is something to be thankful for in this world…

The fact is that I sit here in Russia and eat at a KFC and it is a long ways from Kentucky my friend. That fact alone is worth contemplating. I sit in Russia and eat the exact same food that you do as you sit in America. That is something to think about and it does not matter if that food is really that good for you or not! We prayed, we ate, we got full and we had a good time. That was worth a prayer to the Good Lord…

Being this close to a Christmas that stands for the real meaning has made me sentimental and thus this post was produced. I stopped writing on my book and stepped over to Windows to Russia. I really had decided to not write more than the post to Christmas that I did this morning… 🙂

Sveta thinks that it is just correct to say thanks to God and as such we have been doing it for quite awhile now. I think that it is just perfect to say grace myself, before every meal…

Windows to Russia…

I bet with the cold weather you are having in the USA that you wish you had some real coats and fur to boot. In Russia it is well known that they have fur and wear the fur, to much of the western worlds dismay…

Except maybe Canada this hold true as a statement. Canada has a weather world like Russia and you have to do what you have to do to survive. If that means to wear fur coats of animals, then so be it. Nothing matches a fur for warmth. Ask a bear…

Right now Russians are not wearing their fur coats. It is way too warm and the fur has not come out yet, as we have no need. But in America where the country is being slammed into the cold hell of earth. (Like Russia is normally!) I bet you would change your mind real quick if you had a choice right now. I have been watching images of people in America and they are screaming bloody murder at how cold they are. Then I see what they have on for coats. Many times it is not even a real coat…

I have a coat that is good until -45 below Celsius and no one, but no one should have any less of a coat in Russia, available for when the earth freezes over as it does all the time here. I can tell you that men or women alike in Russia, will bring out a fur coat and not feel guilty at all as they continue with their life and never shut down a single business or school. You just do not care that it is cold and you are prepared for the fact that God will forsake you and leave you with no heat, when you need it most…

I have said many times in articles, “The Russians have many coats and they keep coats on according to the weather outside. These coats range from light windbreakers to a full fledged bear skin thrown over your body. Cold to a Russian is a mental thing only and you do what you do and continue on your business. Russians play chess in -30 below zero!”

I will not say much about the stupid news that I am hearing from America about the cold and I won’t criticize. But I will say that you should have a coat and I mean a coat, fur or not, for I remember well as I grew up in America’s Midwest. It got cold enough to freeze a witches titty and that is no lie!

I grew up in a world that had fur coats in the US and that definitely changed and I also know that you elders dream of that warm fur right now. We use to have this cold weather all the time and maybe it was not as country wide extensive, but it was brutal and not so long ago. I remember a winter in the Ozarks in Missouri during January that stayed at -16 to -20 for the whole month and I burned enough propane to choke a horse. I wore a woman’s fur coat as I tried to save the livestock and my family. I succeeded…

When I see a woman walking the streets around here with her fur on. I always smile and think about the people I saw verbally and physically abused in America, for years and years, over wearing a fur and how terrible it is…

I bet some of you would just love to have a decent fur coat right now, so that you could walk outside and not freeze your ass off. Yes that fur, that went all the way to your feet and had a hood to cover your head…

Damn it is warm and safe..
