Yup without a doubt Brexit fallout, besides the tourist industry has totally collapsed in Turkey…

Flowers in the Old Cemetery and an eagle…

They seeded the Orthodox Cemetery with flowers. They are beautiful and the field is covered with them. Just thought they sent a great message this morning….Oh and I was sent a video and it really does hit the spot…

A New Day!

Thanks to the person who sent it too me…

An Eagle…

I take pictures of birds…

For I want to soar like a bird, be free like a bird and dance with the air currents, as I leave the world in a tiny ball behind me. Looks like I want to be an eagle!

If I can come back as something else? I choose an eagle…

* * * * * * * * * *

You know? I realized something….Even in pain, sorrow, death and other tragedies. There is beauty laying around. Sometimes we have to look past the chaos in front of our eyes, to see the prepossessing factors…

Have a nice day! 4 a.m. walk this morning was wonderful and beautiful, even with the darn mosquitoes and other demons flying in the air…

Ever wonder what life is about?

Capture
Maybe…

I woke this morning at 3:30 a.m. and felt like a freight train had run over me. I had a bad night and it seemed to be a bad morning. A morning of trying to figure out what caused me to feel this way. I walked Boza and he was doing good, he felt fine. George the birdbrain was singing and chasing other birds from his yard and even Ralph the Raven was sitting in our birch trees watching us and wondering if Boza wanted to play…

I spend 60% of my life in extreme pain. It comes from many directions, but in the Tiny Russian Village, the pain is much less than in a place like Moscow. I could cover it up with pills, but refuse to do that, unless it becomes debilitating and causes me to not even be able to walk or breath. This morning that pain had caught me during the night, invaded my dreams and woke me with its tentacles of torment. Getting up is easy after a night like that. For anything, even a knife through the back is better than sleep with a knife lacerating in the dreams…

I sipped a cup of coffee at my stump seats and table area. Boza rolled around in the grass and Ralph swooped several times to get Boza going. Boza then ran around the yard and chased Ralph. I let Boza run outside the gates. Boza finally laid down next to me and fell asleep and Ralph left to find new games. George chased a chickadee over the roof of the house and all was quiet and peaceful. I had checked my blood sugar and it was 5.7 mmol/l or in American standards; 102.6 mg/dl. Blood pressure was 111/58. Heart rate was high at 81 bpm. Oxygen percent was 97% to 98% and it confirmed my heart rate bpm…

So all was a-okay. I was not going to die from the basics at least…

Then I weeded the garden; and fought a huge horsefly. I use the hate word for horseflies. They are demons of the worse kind and are wicked and evil. They seem to love me, more than anyone else. Deer flies are next in line…

I was about to give up weeding, because this horsefly would land on the potatoes and wait till I turned my back. Then attack. It got to the point of terrible and something out of the blue saved me…

George had been watching, as he always does and unbeknownst to me he was sitting in the apple trees. After about 10 minutes of war with the horsefly, I stood up to leave. I was bit three times and could not get him. Then George, swooped in, tore a stalk off a potato plant, by accident, and grabbed a fat, bloodsucking vampire of a horsefly, with death in its eyes, off the ground, as it tried to right itself and fly away. He had waited until the horsefly was watching me and pounced. He then sat on a fence post nearby and beat the head of the horsefly onto the top of it. Soon the buzz quit and I was at peace. George was happy and ate a horsefly…

I worked another 15 minutes and thought about what happened…

* * * * * * * * * *

George is a friend. He is not just a bird, he is a friend from his birth. He is a friend to Boza, me and watches constantly. He seems to have an attachment to Boza and I. George has to eat and at the same time, he would not have eaten that horsefly unless he was always around. I am really not sure if a horsefly is a normal food for him. They really do not hang around for a bird to eat them and the chickadees and sparrows could careless about them. George is a predator and after watching what was going on. Took advantage of the situation and whooped horsefly ass….It helped me and the broken potato plant limb was no big deal. George can eat all the horseflies he wants…

Then I thought about Boza; Boza is a friend. A friend that lays on top of me when I am sick. (He thinks is helps!) A friend that walks for hours if I want. A friend who would lay his life down if I was attacked. Boza is always watching and doing the best he can to be part of life with me…

Then I thought about Svetochka; Sveta is a friend, the best friend I have. She went to the Moscow Film Festival in Moscow and watched two movies yesterday. I am happy for her to do that. I kind of wish I could be there to see the movies, but she happily tells me all about her movies she watched and the Film Fest is a great place to see movies from all over the world. She was happiest about a Korean movie she had watched…

I realized that Sveta and Boza are the main reasons that I try to watch my health. They are worth living for, even if me, myself and I is not enough to live for. I am, but they ice the cake…

* * * * * * * * * *

I fixed breakfast half way through this article. I realized that my blood sugar was dropping like a rock in a lake and I was shaking and getting a bad headache. I have to watch closely and be careful…

I fried two eggs, fried two pieces of fake crab meat, sliced two pieces of cheese and rolled them up in two flour tortillas. Salt, pepper and a wonderful mushroom sauce rounded them out and I hope that solves the sugar issue for awhile…

Yummy…

* * * * * * * * * *

Then I started to, “Wonder what life is about?”

It is a question we should all ask ourselves!

Is life a bowl of cherries or is it a never ending saga of mishaps? Or maybe something between?

I have to think about this, for life is an interesting situation and we are such a small significance to the Universe as a whole. I ask myself many times, “Why are we who we are? Why are we here? What good are we doing? Is there something after death?”

I will be back with this thinking…

Pictures of Tiny Russian Village…

A Tiny Russian Village is so much more than just a broken down place…

I finally caught an image of one of the eagles. He was high and it took 128 zoom to get even this close. He seemed to be looking as if he was grabbing the clouds and thought they were cotton candy as he played amongst them. He would soar and streak through the end of the cloud and dive. Then he would catch an air current and swirl the clouds around him as he powered straight up. Then he would pop out farther away…

Want freedom? The eagle is free…

The bell tower has a certain fascination for me. If you saw it in real life, you would be fascinated also. It is such a massive structure. The walls are over a meter thick. It commands respect and I give it that respect. It is a good example of what could be built with very little to work with. It is Gods place…

* * * * * * * * * *

Yesterday, the neighbors gave me some blini or pancakes. They were good and I felt blessed. The neighbors are just a few weeks a year, but we have grown to know each other. I like them and they like me now. It took awhile, because being American seems to keep people away, until they get to know me. Now like many around the parts, they smile at me and want my company. The blini were delicious by the way…

* * * * * * * * * *

George the Birdbrain, follows us everywhere. I guess he likes to see what Boza and I are up to. Not much, but it seems just enough to keep him happy and following us. He is sitting in a wild apple tree in a field. He flies with us from tree to tree and sings a tune as we walk. Seriously; Life could not get any better than a serenade from a bird friend…

* * * * * * * * * *

This morning I ate strawberries, currant and raspberries. All grown here in the our yard at The Tiny Russian Village…

Freedom, liberty, life, clean living, fresh air and good people. What more could you ask for?

People really want Kings…

After-A-Coffee-Start-WritingI watch the world, I watch America, I watch the EU and I simply watch the world…

It has struck me, even with the propaganda of how democracy is so cool, that humans want Kings and Queens. We have many names for such people in power, but a dictator is naught but a King, just a twisted name used by the west to describe people they hate, who are in power…

Most of the world loves a benevolent but very powerful King, they want that person in charge. No matter who it is, they want that single person in charge. This is the downfall of the US system. The man and or woman in the presidency is not in charge and we know it. We want the president to be omnipresent and powerful…. We want to blame them, we want to praise them and we want to pedestalize them…

Russians are classic in this aspect; they desire, want, need and promote such a person, short of another term available, The King. Putin is the ultimate power in Russia, lots of wannabes are around, but Putin is the King. The people know it, like it and want it that way. It is comfort to the masses that a man is large and in charge. That way they can just survive and eek out a existence and be left alone…

That is a major key there; Left alone! That means by him and the governmental services. Freedom is not what is given to you as A-Okay, it is what makes you happy and if happy is having a King, then so be it. Just stay out of their (peoples) way as they scratch the earth to subsistence themselves. Kings are to be admired and the term dictator, while used wrongly by the Western Empire, is the same and most people in dictator called countries, are no different than those in Britain, as they worship their Queen or King…

It is that play on words and the play of the governmental medias to try to alter the truth. The truth is Qaddafi, who was murdered in Libya years ago, was just a King, who was labeled a dictator. That allowed the west to sway opinion and kill him. My my, what if we decided Britain’s Queen was a dictator? What is the difference? Nothing, except media presentation about that individual. If the media decided, they could turn the world against the Queen of England in a heartbeat…

OMG why would we do that? She is loved….Well so are dictators all over the world. Maybe just maybe, the people living in the country a so called dictator rules, is looked at as a King or Queen… Just maybe…. Since when was the west declared God? And can decide who and what is acceptable…

The strange thing is; if a country ever needed a King or Queen, it is America. America has too many loose canons and no one in charge. This situation is getting worse by the day and we need and want someone in charge…

We have had Kings in the past. We had Ronald Regan; whom really fit the bill (Movie Star, Patriarch and Macho.) Does not matter if he did anything correct or he did everything right. He was a King, he was in charge and we believed he would kick peoples asses (perception extended to the whole world) and we considered him, right or wrong, the Boss. Harry Truman was that kind of Boss and we liked it. This is why Hillary is so popular. She is considered strong and in charge (Heaven forbid a Neocon in the White House.) Who speaks against her, be damned by those of us who let things like truth, honesty and morals get in the way of choosing her as Queen. We want a Queen and that is that. Obama set the stage; he failed miserably as a King. He truly is the naked dictator and if the media did not whitewash the facts. He would have never been where he is at. But he failed to really have any power, except to disarray through lack of leadership and power. That is because he is an empty shell of a person, who has visible puppet strings making him dance and talk….Hillary does not have that illusion and showed such promise as Queen – as Secretary of State…. Hate her or not, she will make Obama look like a wimp and have you wanting more… God help us…

* * * * * * * * * *

I have a thought…

We constantly degrade other countries for begrudging their leaders, many times this grudge is only of 20% of the populace or much less. Just as in North Korea; it is what it is and they do not hate as bad as you think their beloved leader. In fact they hate their leader much less percent wise, than the percent of Americans who hate Obama. It is amazing how we try to ignore the fact that half the US country literally has to live under a president that they do not respect, but in North Korea, we act like he is hated by all 100% of the population. Actually if Obama had as much respect by America, as Kim Jong-un has in NK. America would be doing much better…

You have to remember that it is all in the propaganda being spewed by the media that determines how a westerner sees the world. We do not all see the world as the Western Empire wants it to be divined…

* * * * * * * * * *

CaptureTherefore, when a man is supported as highly as Putin is by the people of Russia. The Western Empire can not fathom such support and thus, has to dictator and demoralize such a person. This is the way of life in this world, the way it has been all through history and we have not grown up and become better morally or spiritually…

We talk the talk, but do not walk the walk!

And until we talk the talk and back it up with walking the walk; then we will never get ahead in this world…

I accept Putin as he is. Call him a President, Dictator, King, Evil Demon and or whatever makes your heart pitter pat in hateful delight, but…

Putin talks the talk and definitely walks the walk…. and that my friend is what makes a great leader that goes down in history, with stories told to generations of his deeds…

Tiny Russian Village Life in Photos and some coffee thinks…

What is Tiny Russian Village life?

I think the images above say the story very well. I took these images yesterday and this morning. They sum up what life is about in the Tiny Russian Village…

I laughed so hard at the duck. It was paddling and leaving a wake. He was quacking and moving full steam ahead. I am sure he was running from us mean creatures and warning the world that evil was around….but there was no one but two guys fishing and they could careless about the duck, Boza or I. But hey that duck could move…

* * * * * * * * * *

Vova broke his Niva…

Brown House people were leaving the village to go home. They got their car stuck and Vova went to pull them out. Well he got them out, but blew the rear end out of LADA Niva. I mean he sheared the ring and pinion and now the Niva needs a new rear end. Poor Vova…

He will find (? hopefully) a rear end for it in the Big Village and I told him I would help him put it in…

* * * * * * * * * *

I get a bunch of thumbs up over our garden. The villagers are happy that I have taken to village life and I have become one of them. I give the small world of a village a new aspect about who and what an American can be. I know that I am not what they expected. Russians are very down to earth people, just as we use to be as a whole in America. I am not saying that we do not have people like that, but in America we have lost the edge. Russians in Moscow and several other large cities here in Russia are very American like. Then again, even a Muscovite, tries to grow food anyway they can. I do see a younger generation in Russia that is losing touch, but only in the huge cities. Therefore, cities seem to me to be a downfall of society. Cities allow to many places to hide what needs to be kept in full view, so that it can be dealt with if needed. In a city, it is easy to get lost and hide…

* * * * * * * * * *

I am my own worst enemy! I drive myself to the point of exhaustion and that is even after I have learned to be smart. Old habits die hard and I find myself pushing myself, pushing and never getting anywhere in my mind. Then I stop and look around and see that I have really accomplished a lot. But I never can get what I want to get done. For that, I beat myself up and push harder to garner more and more…

This was what drove me to the top when I was young and it is what drove me to the edge of the death bed, when I had six heart attacks…

Sometimes I think I am running from something. Even if I do not go anywhere physically. I find that I push myself and yet, I am what I am…

* * * * * * * * * *

America and her Neocons;

First; we pushed small countries. Those countries could not defend themselves and have fallen under a chaotic life now that we have destroyed what kept them sane. All in the name of Democracy…

Second; we went after the Russia Bear and found a country that withstood the games and is now starting to prosper again. We have not given up on destroying Russia, but while we have been propagandized and played with by the Neocons of the Western Empire over Russia. They have sneaked around and tried to bite a Sleeping Tiger…

Third; we are now going after China. This is called stretching ourselves too thin. China, like Russia, will not bend to the crap! All I can say is that while you have danced to presidential election games and argued over British leaving the EU, we have stepped on China’s toes and created a condition of a very volatile flashpoint to war…

Fourth; and definable not least. China and Russia are in total coordination about what will happen when America steps over the Rubicon….The east and west divide I talk about has just become a canyon, a very large canyon, that is grown by erosion of the games of Neocons in the west….We have allowed a small percent of the worlds population to carry us to the doors of Hell, when we should be striving for the doors of Heaven…

Neocons; a person who loves death and war more than life itself…

Some Images I like…

Yes, just some images I found on the internet…

I find it interesting to get a perspective about how high I moved up in the world, as far as north is concerned. Follow the line over to Canada and then you can see how far into Canada our north position is. I have to look at this to keep in mind where I went. I moved from Kentucky to Moscow and that means I went north and if you keep going, you will see that we hit Alaska, but we are not even really north in Russia. I would call Moscow southern,, but it is way northern compared to the 48 states of America. There is a long ways to go to hit the Arctic. I still, after ten years, find it amazing that I live in Russia. Still after 10 years…

Yelena Isinbayeva – “IAAF President Sebastian Coe said that ‘clean’ athletes might have an opportunity to compete under a neutral, white flag, but not the Russian flag. I had this question: ‘How come the same athlete is “clean” under a blank and guilty under the Russian flag?’” – Good question Yelena….That shows it is a very political game being played by the west and it must be sad living in the Western Empire and seeing the world moving on without you. Even as you try to hinder such movement. Yes it is sad…

I never fought fair in war. If you did, you died! Hand to hand combat in the real world is nothing like Hollywood portrays it. People who have never been there and done that, only know how cool Hollywood is. Bang bang, one punch, twist neck, instant death and super blows of death. LOL….Just think how I would fight now, as a grouchy old bear………..

Kind of sums up Freedom real well… (Ignorant is the word!)

Cup of Coffee full of thoughts…

yum_coffeeThis morning that cup of coffee is especially wonderful. I woke in a daze and even after shaking my head a few times, no cobwebs seem to displace. Therefore, I sit with a delightful cup of coffee and let the thoughts meander around in my head…

I really need to run to the Big Village today. I do not want to, but I need to buy a new fan. The fan or ventilator as Russians call it, is starting to get beyond the point that oil and cleaning regularly will do the job and soon it will die. I know where to get one and they will have them, for Russians are very anti-fan and or things like that. But a fan is a life saver, even if you dislike the noise and wind blowing. At least for me. This week will be hot, or at least to me hot. I have become Russified way to much. I use to laugh at 30 degree weather, but now 30 degrees is damn hot!

Russians laugh at the gods at -30 degrees and screech to the gods, at +30 degrees. Me too!

LOL! The Russification is becoming complete…

AmericaEveryday the USA shoots itself in the foot and everyday, things are expressed that prove this action is a major part of her downfall. We Americans seem to think the world revolves around us and that no one is productive, smart enough and or worth a hill of beans without us. I guess U.S. stands for us and or “We are number one!”

China on Monday revealed its latest supercomputer, a monolithic system with 10.65 million compute cores built entirely with Chinese microprocessors. This follows a U.S. government decision last year to deny China access to Intel’s fastest microprocessors.There is no U.S.-made system that comes close to the performance of China’s new system, the Sunway TaihuLight. Its theoretical peak performance is 124.5 petaflops, according to the latest biannual release today of the world’s Top500 supercomputers. It is the first system to exceed 100 petaflops. A petaflop equals one thousand trillion (one quadrillion) sustained floating-point operations per second.

Here is a simple fact; There is nothing in this world that is special about the US, except the fact that we think we are “Special”. And as Svetochka will tell you quoting me, “Special? Oh! Special ED! Hmm!”

Whoops, is that politically incorrect? Tough worms, politically correct does not mean a hill of beans and maybe that is why we all fall into the “Special,” category…

Read the article and think….Get out of that “Special” mode and think what will make us great again!

Maybe we should consider the world all equals and work to make a better world for all! Try stop cutting our throats to force someone to bend to our will and use a bit of brain synapses to garner some real changes for once…

Try a little less “Simpson’s” and a little more thinking of the greater world as a whole…

indexFear; fear is simply the most powerful tool that governments have. Fear mongering is as normal for a government to do as it is to eat an ice cream cone on a hot day. Fear is what they use to keep the masses in line and swaying toward a certain focal point in the distance. Fear, OMG, fear!

Fear sells security, weapons, food, programs, laws, bills in gov. and or fear sells anything and it holds hand with Greed. Fear should be a sin! Fear is one of the most powerful feelings that can destroy your little personal bubble, that you have surrounded yourself with, to ignore the world at large…

Well there are things I need to do. Thinking has its limits and the garden needs attention. I have found one potato bug and he was stomped worse than a rat under the hooves of a thousand cows, stampeding across the plains of America. I need to see if I can stomp another one and look for eggs under the leaves…

I must instill fear into those potato bugs…

Parts of the Monastery; The land grab is on…

I decided to take a picture (It is about 2:30 a.m. when I took these!) of all the parts of the monastery that are being gathered up to turn the village back to its original monastery habitat. It was a female monastery originally, but has been officially turned into a male monastery now. The Orthodox Church is slowly but relentlessly grabbing land and gathering pieces of the village, like an octopus, hiding in its cave…

I try to make people understand that they will lose their places, if they do not register the homes in their names. For years now, it has been mandatory for people to get their properties registered properly and time has run out. The Orthodox Church, which has the patience of Job, has all the time in the world. They wait and when the property becomes officially available. They either get it free or pay a pittance for the property…

It is legal, for people know and have known for a longtime to get their property in order. Russians literally all own their property, but Russians are lazy and some will lose their free properties to people who have patience…

I even know of some here in the village that have not claimed their land, but only the home. This allows people to buy the property from under them and that will effect future heirs to properties. It has to do with taxes and for the desire to not pay $20 or $30 dollars a year for the actual land. Could be future fatal…

Svetochka finally got their village property and home done. But only after I finally laid down the facts of a octopus church land grabbing. Vova finally got his property done, he got scared silly when the Orthodox Church realized his property is on their property and he was able to get his rights established, before they got theirs…

Another person is having a fit about the cemetery that was finally discovered in the field. I understand that his home is on that cemetery; And guess what? Right, he is not registered the property for its protection… Money is not an issue. He always has a bottle of vodka and a cigarette in his mouth. So $20 a year in taxes is not a problem…

The main thing I see is that the monastery seems to have ability to sway decisions involved and parts of the old school fall toward the monastery in rights. The truth is; 3/4 of this Tiny Russian Village is ontop the old monastery land…

Therefore, this is for the record of the story I will one day write about the Tiny Russian Village, otherwise known as Zarya Svobody, Ryazan Oblast, Russia…

What I see; Tiny Russian Village…

Took images for several days. I decided to post what I see as I go through the day. Most of what I want to get a picture of eludes me, as George our Birdbrain does. Eagles know when I am without a camera. Fantastic insects know when I am without a camera. It seems to me that everyone knows when I do not have a camera to use and they all come out to entice me and make me wish I had a camera. For it is simple; If I had a camera, everyone and everything runs away… 😉

So I take images of what I can…

I have another post to do about the monastery, but I wanna know! Did I say our pear trees survived? Just thought I would ask, I am still stunned that I was able to get those sticks to grow. But most likely Mother Nature helped more than I did. Thanks Mother Nature…
