Amazing to watch Boza…

Boza is blind as many of the readers of WtR know. But I do not talk about too much how he has adjusted to blindness…

It is amazing to watch him…

Dogs have fantastic hearing and smell in the first place, but the levels that Boza has obtained is (again) amazing. He can hear a car over a kilometer away and that is from inside the village home. I am lucky to hear it at all inside and 100 meters outside. When downwind of something as a deer, quail and whatever, he can smell them from kilometers away. When the wind changes direction and the smell of the pig farm down south is coming our way, he knows hours before I even can smell it…

He never had bloodhound abilities before the blindness, but he does now…. He loves to flush out quail, that has become one of his favorite things to do. Svetochka kinda got him going on the quail thingy and now it is very important to him to notice any quail with in kilometers of our place…

He also can transverse the ground, almost as if he can see. I have noticed that the only thing I have to watch for is when he is on a scent of some animal and follows that scent off a cliff or into the river and or something akin to that… His nose leads him everywhere and I watch as he goes around things as if he can see it. He is just following the scent of another animal, such as a fox. It is interesting to watch him follow a cat scent, cats jump upon things and that confuses Boza sometimes. I have to stop him from running into a boulder or tree trunk lets say…

Okay, something new and amazing also…

River Otter and we have one down below at the natural pond. The same pond that we have coots, ducks and other nice things of nature…

Now we have an Otter and I will get pictures of him. Or try at least…. I have been noticing tracks on the ice of the pond and I had never seen these tracks before. Yesterday, out across the pond, ran an Otter and he was black and huge…

I tried to get a picture, but he was camera shy and ran away after he saw me trying… πŸ˜‰

I may have to fire up the big camera with 60x zoom. He is really cool…

My suggestion to Western (white especially) males; Don’t look, don’t touch, don’t think about, don’t smile at, don’t frown at, don’t walk in front of, don’t walk behind, don’t walk next to, don’t tie your shoes in public, don’t do a damn thing around any woman. Definitely do not be a male…. If you see a woman, run, I mean run fast, for soon you will be called out as a sexist and harasser…

Okay seems farfetched? Na, just looks like an all male monastery is the safest place right now….and I am not sure that is too safe at times…

Not from what I am seeing and unless we get things under control, this new agenda will destroy relationships between men and women!

That is the agenda? Maybe…

I was saying Hmm….as I watched this happen…

Remember the last time (a year or so ago) Obama went to China as president?

I do…

Sunshine and cold… TRV

Crystal clear skies and with that comes crystal cold temperatures…

-8 this morning and so beautiful and crisp…. Boza and I walked a short walk at 1 a.m. and it was wonderful. Getting ready to walk again in a few minutes. Going on 2 a.m. and that cup of coffee is perfect today…

I found a link that really pissed me off and…. well here it is…

Shake your head this morning and sigh!

I just cannot get around how a country like America can allow her people to be so left at the bottom feeder level and not supply the basics of a good life, all because a few want to warmonger all over the world…

What we (America) could have accomplished with that money?

I shake my head at the stupidity of our government and ourselves for accepting such a slap in the face. But then I am the evil one and the one who needs to shut up about such trivial issues as spending money for war!

What is it about America that we are suppose to be so proud of again?

Boza wants to go out again. Therefore, I will walk the little rotten doggy and will be back to put down some more thoughts about life over coffee…

Back…

The rotten doggy has had his medicine, eaten four more packs of food and is sleeping good after doing his doggy business. Dogs life is correct, at least for our doggy…

I am still struggling with the cracked rib, but it is healing. Nothing like a cracked rib to slow you down…

I am going to have to get to the Big Village, Boza is eating almost a case of food a day and at this pace, he will be out of food in two or three days. We found a Pedigree little doggy food and he loves it. It is cheaper somewhat and I mix it with some chicken. Boza eats like there is no tomorrow…

Svetochka is still not feeling well, that makes Boza and I unhappy, well at least me! Looks like the flue…

I just realized it is just 2:30 in the morning…

Oh my days are long and the nights are so short. But Boza sleeps half the day and I try to ignore the pain of my rib. Does not always work and if I lay on the wrong side, that will wake you up quick. But still Boza is blind and I am not; so what should I complain about?

Yesterday I went to Vova’s and had lunch. We had chicken and pasta. Vova loves to cook a skillet full of food and sit down with someone to eat. I should not eat the pasta, I am diabetic, but that is okay, I only do it once a week or so. If he does not fix pasta it is potatoes, that is the same effect on me…

He gave me about twenty kilos of onions and some carrots and garlic. When Svetochka comes I will get beets and will make her some soup (borscht,) she loves it, just like 99% of all Russians. You will find that beet soup is in all Russian restaurants and everyone has that special recipe…

Bear’s Borscht…

Seriously? I guess that answers all my allegations about the American mentality? What they think they were in Walmart or something? Good timing guys; Trump was in a visit with China!

Maybe Russia did it?

I want one of these mounted at the peak of the roof of the village home. This would be home security at its best…

I would say a pest free 250 meter perimeter would be good to have…

The weapons that Russia is developing are amazing.Β  I write about very little that I read about and this time I just had to say something. For I know Russians and nothing is said about things like this until they are available…
Kalashnikov Group, the producer of the famous AK-74 assault rifle – More: http://tass.com/defense/954894Neural Network the Russian future in weapons?

Hmm…

I gotta go! No words of too much wisdom today. Just looking at the world and what is happening and really, I just want to keep my mouth shut for the most part. I do have to say one thing; I saw the main stream media worry can Trump Twitter from behind the Great Wall of China’s Internet (Firewall of China)?I guess he did and could!

[contentcards url=”http://www.businessinsider.com/trump-uses-special-equipment-to-bypass-chinas-twitter-ban-firewall-report-2017-11″]

Seriously, I was very worried that he could not express himself to the Twitter world. That would have been a disaster on the magnitude of…. Well nothing compares to that issue. Not even the debt problem that America has…

Thank God; Well, that crises we reported on is over, go away now, nothing to see here…

Another holiday? Kinda…

Today is the 100th anniversary of the Bolshevik Revolution and or the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution of 1917… 11/08/2017…

Really does not matter if you like communism, hate communism and or do not even want to hear the word mentioned; communism!

Lenin changed the world on this day and according to your standards it became good or bad…

Russia would not be the wonderful country it is today if things had been different. I am serious, Russia is a wonderful place to live, even if it went through terrible times and tribulations. Russia is a safe, sound and full of good people country. The government, while has its issues, is one of the best in the world…

No, the above statement is not an error, Russia, thank God does not have a fascist government, like one I know and came from…

I am thankful for the good and bad that happened to Russia, for it would not be the wonderful place it is today. Yes, even with its issues, it is a shining beacon of a place to live…

(History can hurt? But….History should not be despised, it should be learned from and use to create grow of people and life! – Kyle)

I see this day as a holiday and the world felt this day and still feels this day in history…

North Korea says,

“”As long as the U.S. and its puppets engage in hostile acts and invasive attempts against us, and as long as imperialism, the root of evil and injustice, is left on earth, we will further build up our nuclear power,” said Rodong Sinmun, the mouthpiece of the Workers’ Party of Korea…

Hmm…. Just as I talk about all the time…

Lets leave them alone and allow them peace and quiet. If we really wanted to change things in NK? Remove sanctions, open our arms to help and allow nature to take its course. That is just too easy…

Oh and damn for sure keep our word about anything we make deals with NK. No rejigging…

Guess what? North Korea, Russia, China and many others are not the issue at hand. Time to look in the mirror America…

The Lachta Center – St. Petersburg…

St. Petersburg. The Lachta Center is to become the new landmark of St. Petersburg. At 462 meters, Europe’s tallest skyscraper will tower above the historic center of Russia’s northern metropolis. Gazprom, the largest gas company in the world, shows its power with this new headquarters. In the hometown of President Vladimir Putin is growing a symbol of a new Russia, as he likes to see it: cool and bold…

Interesting…

  • Anti-heterosexuality.

Just some images on my phone…

Not going to write much today. I hurt from the cracked rib and will goof off. That means stay as quiet as possible, but still walk the doggy ten times, cut firewood and other necessary chores. I already filled the wells this morning and still have one or two more trips to verify that they are going to fill all the way. Boza declined the last trip to go with me, he was tired and is still sleeping as I write this…

Oh and Sunrise to Freedom is the actual name of our village. Or at least the translation is that name…

I cleaned 70 images off my phone and just posted a few for you. It is dark most of the day in the Tiny Russian Village. But thank goodness the super cold has not set in yet. Sveta most likely will not be here this week, maybe next week. She looks to have picked up the flue. Not feeling good. I worry about her, but she is a tough girl…

Have a nice day…
