Close all McDonald’s in Russia…


Having been a regional manager for McDonald’s in the past. I have to whole heartily support a crunch being put upon McDonald’s. This is something that has been tossed up several times by Russians and it is something that is now necessary to be done. Get rid of McDonald’s in Russia…

With 400 units in Russia and growing (50 planned in 2017) it has been profitable enterprise from day one in Russia. McDonald’s had over a billion dollars in sales last year in Russia and profits are good, due to overhead at a lower level than in the USA. McDonald’s covers up most of their profit here in Russia, through buying lots of land, buildings, paper work slight of hand and such, but believe you me they make serious money in countries like Russia…

With the sanction fiscal that the US has imposed upon McDonald’s, my suggestion is to shut down all American businesses, period and replace them with Russian versions and do it now…

Russians love their McDonald’s, but that trend is changing and people in Russia are tired of the bull that is being tossed at them for no reason at all. Only reason that “Russia did it,” is to play games within America and her cronies and that play has far reaching effects…

Therefore, since many Russians read this blog…

Find a healthier and better place to eat! Unless you want to look like Americans and rival the fattest country in the world. Then drop the western wannabe stuff and get on with a better future…

I hope that McDonald’s is booted out of Russia and for Russia’s sake, please do just that.

Then China needs to do the same… (China accounts for billions in gross sales! With way over two thousand units in China…)

The lose of a billion in sales would destroy the bottom line that has been massaged and altered to make McDonald’s look better after a few years of serious losses. But then that is the norm and has been the norm for many years with McDonald’s. I know I set many a budget for the company stores I worked with…

Nothing good about McDonald’s, nothing good for the country and the people that these stores reside in…

USA you cannot afford to start having companies like McDonald’s falter and fail. But, you will if you keep pushing lies and doing acts of war against the countries that help support you and your world wide businesses. It is simply too easy to make a better product and company than what comes out of America…

I know, I spent many years making money for corporations in America and know the games played many times over…

Open a “McRussia” and “McChina” but first shut the units and tell America to stick it up their…….

Boza had issues and I medicated him, but he still desired food. Well we walked at 1:30 a.m. and then feasted. Well at least he did. Three packs of doggy food and a bunch of chicken mixed in…

Now he is sound asleep, full and at peace, but I sit here wide awake and it is only 2:30 a.m….

Oh well!

Therefore, I will grab a cup of coffee and surf the internet. I would rather be sleeping a few more hours, but hey, life is what life is…

If you have followed this blog? You know that I have always and I mean always, talk about Mikheil Saakashvili…

Well it seems that he has run out of places to go, except back to his masters that live in America. Mikheil Saakashvili has lost his Ukraine passport, because? Well it seems that Georgia finally got through to Ukraine that Mikheil Saakashvili was a wanted man and should never have had a passport in the first place from Ukraine…. Oops somebody messed up somewhere… 😉

But as we all know, Mikheil Saakashvili is a puppet of the Western Empire and since the Western Empire is floundering in Ukraine with its games and wars, Mikheil Saakashvili is now almost homeless…

That is except for his USA passport and soon, I am sure that he will be gracing the steps of another country to try a color revolution. Until then he will go back to New York and enjoy life in the states…

I said many times Svetochka finds nature loves to sit around and pose for her. All this time I have lived in the Tiny Russian Village, I have never seen this monstrous bug…

But…. Svetochka is out picking raspberries and she has a big bug sitting waiting for his picture to be taken. He seemed to think it was the best thing in the world and of course, Svetochka obliged him in his desires…

Frame section installed

And Sammy the Volga is almost done?

I know, it is taking forever, but Sammy is a special girl and was having serious issues with her old body. Rust and more rust has been found. A bad section of frame was replaced and it encompassed about two feet of frame work. The water pump is in, the oil pump is fixed and she has all her doors replaced. We even are getting a replacement rear bumper. She is going to be better than new when it is done…

Simply put; all rust spots have been cut out and new metal welded in and she even has Gaz Gazelle rear spring shackles installed to lift the rear end up about three more inches….

This is how a car is done in Russia when rebuilt. Being built like a tank…

Going to be a pretty girl when done…. Two tone paint, whole bottom half with special chip proof paint and completely undercoated. We want twenty more years out of her. Volga; best car ever built…

I know, I have driven and owned many, including Cadillac, Lincoln, Mercedes, SAAB and many more, not the least a 1971 Volkswagen Beetle. (Which by the way, I had to rebuild just like the Volga is having done…)

Cost is about 60,000 rubles for everything and that is a bunch of stuff…

Svetochka walked to a taxi last night with a young neighbor guy. He has left his wife and three kids with grandma and the family is having a girls week with no guys. Well all guys gone but the little monkey boy, who will keep the girls busy as he runs around and terrorizes everything. Good boy…

Most of the time parents will really appreciate their girls, when they have a boy to show them the other side of raising children. The two sisters are prim and proper. They are polite and sweet gals, but then comes the charging baby rhino and he tries their patience. Good Boy!

Grandma does not drive. but the mother of the children does. But she drives only in the daylight times. Thus she could not take dad to the train station. That is okay, Svetochka is a pro at traveling to the train station in the Big Village and the two of them disappeared into the sunset. I am waiting now to hear if Svetochka is in Moscow and all is A-OK!

Update: I heard from Svetochka and she is drinking a cappuccino and eating at the train station. The metro is not open yet and she is waiting patiently…

Therefore, Boza and I are once again alone and grouchy without our girl. No not Sammy, Svetochka. We are grouchy without Sammy, but Svetochka is our love of our life and nothing is impossible with her around…

Gonna wrap a couple of things together here…

One thing is that several people have asked about the Lenovo Yoga laptop I got for free in Estonia…. All I can say is that it is the best computer I have ever used and or owned. Fast, easy to use and very versatile. The only two flaws in my eyes are Windows 10 and it is an Estonian keyboard. I have no issues, English is standard included as the keyboard, with Estonian secondary. No Russian, but just add a external Russian/English keyboard USB wise and it works perfect for Russia. Svetochka grumbled about no Russian and that fixed that…

What more do you want? Nothing for me and or Svetochka now…. Windows 10 is what it is made for and what will stay. Just too good to mess with and play with…

Boza’s left eye is clearing up. It is a miracle and he is resting much better right now. Once the operation is done, things will be much better. Eye pressure is dropping, slowly but dropping and that is the battle we are having. Glaucoma is a war you never win, but if you can win some battles, it is all good…

The white lilacs are doing wonderful, the T-Rose is in full bloom, the tiny pine tree is so happy and the Tiny Russian Village yard is full of chirping happy birdbrains…

6 Key Questions about RussiaGate

Guilt by association is insidious because it can’t be cleared in court.
The claims that Russia meddled in the 2016 U.S. election are now known as RussiaGate, in a loose reference to the Watergate scandal of the early 1970s.
In the U.S., the issue has been poisoned by profound partisanship: those who feel disenfranchised by the election of Donald Trump are trying to use RussiaGate to unseat or cripple the Trump presidency, while those who elected Trump feel RussiaGate is nothing but an attempt by the corrupt status quo to disenfranchise them.
Let’s see if we can clarify the issues with some key questions.
1. Did Russia meddle in the 2016 U.S. election? This is the entire thing in a nutshell. But this raises a second question: did Russia successfully meddle in the 2016 U.S. election? In other words, we have two investigations: one to identify verifiable, legally actionable evidence of meddling, and a second investigation into the effects of any meddling–should evidence arise that would stand up in court.
2. What federal laws or statutes were broken? This is a serious charge, and the first step in any investigation is to nail down precisely what federal laws were broken?The next step is to assemble evidence for the criminal activity that will stand up in court.
3. What standard of evidence/proof is required in a federal court to convict the accused? Is intent a necessary component of the laws that were broken? What precisely constitutes burden of proof? It isn’t enough to accuse persons unknown of wrong-doing: the precise laws that were broken must be identified and the case against specific individuals must be built on verifiable evidence that will stand up in federal court.
Recall that this is not about partisan talking points–it’s about justice. Those who reckon justice counts for nothing in this investigation disqualify themselves. If justice no longer matters in America, there is no America left to defend.
4. If incontrovertible evidence of Russian meddling arose in 2016, why did the federal agencies under the Obama administration (Department of Justice, F.B.I., etc.) do nothing? While we can cook up various theories, the common-sense conclusion is 1. no federal laws were broken and/or 2) there was insufficient evidence that would stand up in court.
5. Precisely what meddling occurred? Somebody meeting with a Russian does not constitute proof of anything. rather, this is the classic witch-hunt accusation of the McCarthyite “Red Scare” of the 1950s–guilt by association: you were seen conversing with a Communist, thus you must also be a Communist–or at a minimum, you are tainted by association and thus under a cloud of suspicion that can never be cleared because no accusation of guilt in a court of law is ever made.
Guilt by association is insidious because it can’t be cleared in court. Those accused of guilt by association are not innocent until proven guilty–they are guilty until proven innocent, a proof that can never satisfy the accusers.
A precisely defined chain of verifiable actions is required to prove meddling beyond reasonable doubt. So date, all the accusations have failed to meet this most fundamental standard of evidence of wrong-doing.
As for the claim that “all 17 U.S. intelligence agencies concur that blah-blah blah”– Where precisely is the evidence? If there is no verifiable evidence and no chain of events that can be substantiated with hard evidence that will stand up in federal court, then all we really have is accusations of guilt by association, i.e. a witch-hunt.
6. What evidence supports the claim that Russian meddling actually influenced the election? The claim that Russians hacked the Democratic National Committee emails has fallen apart for lack of evidence; it now seems clear that the hack was an inside-the-DNC whistleblowing incident.
As for the claim that Russian meddling negatively impacted the campaign of Hillary Clinton: the most damaging bits were all verifiably accurate in the public record:
— The Podesta emails were in fact Podesta emails.
— The video of candidate Clinton apparently collapsing on the curb was not fabricated; it was a video recorded by an amateur bystander.
— Reports of pay-to-play and other unsavory activities within the Clinton Foundation predate the election by years.
— Candidate Clinton’s comments on “deplorables” were her own words.
Again, standards of evidence and proof of guilt of federal crimes require a precise chain of events and actions for which there is evidence that will stand up in federal court, , i.e. evidence that will persuade a jury or federal judge and that can withstand cross-examination and the inquiries of experts hired by the defense.
Given the absolute paucity of actionable, verifiable evidence to date, RussiaGate is so far nothing but a series of unsupported accusations of guilt by association, i.e. a witch-hunt. This is why some in the mainstream media have characterized the whole thing as a “nothing-burger.”
Compare RussiaGate to Watergate. Watergate was always about compiling evidence of activities that violated federal laws. People who broke federal laws were identified, evidence was compiled and presented in a court of law where the accused were able to defend themselves against an indictment presented by federal prosecutors. Some were acquitted, many were convicted, others plea-bargained a conviction with a reduced sentence.

Those making accusations in RussiaGate must now put up or shut up: either present the evidence that supports federal indictments, or confess to the pursuit of a witch hunt, i.e. unsubstantiated accusations of guilt by association. Anything less than the presentation of actionable evidence that leads to indictments and convictions is not justice–it’s just another witch-hunt that besmirches everyone who participates in the witch-hunt.
