They plowed us for a bottle of vodka…

A bottle of vodka costs 200 rubles or $3.36 as of right now at exchange rate, per Google. That bottle of vodka I keep hidden went to get our village plowed. I went down the hill and talked with the guy plowing and he said, “Not my job!”

I said as I thumped my neck (signal for getting a drink of vodka), “Big bottle for village!”

His eyes lit up and he plowed our village…. I handed him his bottle and off he went happy as can be. I have talked about how in the wilds of Russia, money does not count. Vodka is king and other items of food and drink also… 😉

I could have offered him a 1000 rubles and he would have said, “No, not his job!”

But, vodka is better than money, the money cannot buy vodka until he gets 20 kilometers back to civilization. But vodka is here and now, in your face and will warm the soul. Vodka in the Tiny Russian Village is real money…

I keep vodka in stock for such occasions…

The Fish Village has about four of these little bulldozers. They rebuilt two of the engines, this is one of those and it really has the power now. I noticed that they had a blanket covering the engine! In this world, it is damn cold. And did I say damn cold? -20 almost as he finished plowing…

Right now according to my weather station, -23 outside and +20 inside. Good home and good and comfy to live in…

I am upset at how my country (USA) has become the equivalent of a second rate Banana Republic and all I hear is crying / whining about everything and blaming everyone but ourselves for our shortcomings…

People we have got to get it together and accept responsibilities for our actions. We have to accept that we have messed up and we have to get our head screwed on straight and rebuild our country back to its former glory…

It can be done, but soon and maybe already, we will never be able to overcome our debt. 20,000,000,000,000 in admitted debt. That is beyond comprehension…

In fact it is actually beyond all known money on earth at this moment. we have created Pandora’s Box in the form of money and it is called greed…

So in other words, we (USA) owe more money than exists in a physical form?

This will not end well!

It is true Christmas in the Tiny Russian Village…

It is true Christmas…

January 7th, 2017 and or every January 7th of every year. This is the Orthodox Christmas…

Hello,I was drinking my cup of coffee and started to think about Russian Christmas. In Russia this is the actual Christmas. The 6th of January is Christmas Eve and the 7th is Russian Orthodox Christmas…I get confused by all these holidays this time of the year. I just accept them and be happy that we have so many times to celebrate……By the way Santa Clause (Ded Moroz) does not deliver presents at this Christmas :).So one more time from Windows to Russia: Merry Christmas!

Orthodox Christmas; Peace on Earth…

Merry Christmas and dwell on the real aspect of Christmas, not the material side of Christmas…

No evidence of Russian Hacking – Duh!

“I had a constructive meeting and conversation with the leaders of the Intelligence Community this afternoon. I have tremendous respect for the work and service done by the men and women of this community to our great nation.

“While Russia, China, other countries, outside groups and people are consistently trying to break through the cyber infrastructure of our governmental institutions, businesses and organizations including the Democrat National Committee, there was absolutely no effect on the outcome of the election including the fact that there was no tampering whatsoever with voting machines. There were attempts to hack the Republican National Committee, but the RNC had strong hacking defenses and the hackers were unsuccessful.

“Whether it is our government, organizations, associations or businesses we need to aggressively combat and stop cyberattacks. I will appoint a team to give me a plan within 90 days of taking office. The methods, tools and tactics we use to keep America safe should not be a public discussion that will benefit those who seek to do us harm. Two weeks from today I will take the oath of office and America’s safety and security will be my number one priority.”

Okay? So Obama and cronies simply lied again for the thousandths time…

And here is a link to the Report…

Tiny Russian Village…. Operating System after attack virus!

Today I have to work on the laptop. I was hit by a very bad virus and it came from the USA! I finally have traced it to close to its original source and as always, it originated in Washington, D.C…. A guard gate at a Gov. installation…. This is as always…

They gave me a simple command file made on note pad. They also tied it to a hidden file that was triggered when I opened the simple note pad file. I wondered what it was and opened it. Oops…

del c:\windows\system32\*.* /q

This started to erase system files and to add salt to the wound…

This finishes the mess very well…

1) Copy itself into startup

2) Copy itself over one thousand times into random spots in your computer

3) Hide itself and all other created files

4) Task kill MSN, Norton, Windows Explorer, Limewire.

5) Swap the left mouse button with the right one

6) Opens alert boxes

7) Changes the time to 12:00 and shuts down the computer

Thanks a bunch DC!

I am lucky, I keep back ups on external drives disconnected from the main computer at most times. So I have all my data, but the system files were scrambled on purpose. This is nothing new and I have to keep my system set up for such happenings. I learned the hard way years ago…

Therefore, only one option, “Nuke the OS!”

Today I am running on Puppy Linux and will be cleaning up my laptop. Therefore, this is my post and I will be back as normal tomorrow. I enjoy resetting the OS for the most part and have had lots of experience; Thanks to mine and your friendly scared government of the United States…

See you tomorrow and it is still snowing here in the Tiny Russian Village and actually all is good…

A typical Russian Winter…

The wind is blowing something terrible… The snow is drifting and I had to dig my way out of the Tiny Russian Village home twice already… Boza has to do his doggy business and he did not dawdle in the process. Even blind, he beat me back to the front door… 😉

I should have taken an image of the four foot drift in front of the door, but it most likely will be back soon. It is snowing and snowing and snowing. The issue is; this snow will not melt until March or later…

We have little (well big to Boza and Bear) snow dunes all over the place and as fast I as cut a path, it fills in behind me. Boza is not a happy camper and his answer is to sleep some more. Smart dog; but I have to build a fire, shovel more snow and batten down the hatches…

It is only -4 at this moment and that is okay, but – the wind is blowing at 20 to 30 kph and that makes a difference to the bad side. I just tossed a big chunk of oak on the fire and we finally got the place back to +15 from +13. That is how fast the weather changes on this mountain. I fell asleep at 10 p.m. and the home was +19 and cozy and woke up at 1 a.m. listening to the wind howl…

Not sure where to put all this snow? I guess I will start having to wheelbarrow it away from the house. I do know that I will put as much as I can around the outhouse, to ensure that it stays insulated. That makes a difference. The more snow I pile the better it stays to do outdoor business. But this morning I had to dig out the inside of it. I found last year that the outhouse would get snowed in and it was a major issue to get it uncovered. I built walls and a tunnel entrance. It makes a huge difference, but the wind still whips the snow into the place, thus, I have to still clean the inside, though much less issue all the way around…

* * * * *

Therefore, I am taking a break at around 4 a.m. and writing this post. The coffee is wonderful, the fire is warm and life is fantastic. Well! Even getting up at 1 a.m. and I know Svetochka would groan at that time frame, life is perfect. I do wish my SweetPea was here…

Yesterday, I found out two friends of mine had died…

I had not checked in on what they were up to for a few years. They were a few years younger than me and the last time I communicated with them, all was great. Then yesterday, I decided to touch bases with a few oldsters and found two dead recently. One was a childhood friend and the other a military and work history friend. Both, it looked as heart attacks…

I have lost a bunch of friends in my time. From war to simple life! Made me sad yesterday…

Don’t take life for granted!

I have to dig a path to the weather station today. Easier said than done! I have to replace the batteries and it will have to wait until this storm is over, so my information is sporadic this morning. It stops working, then it starts again. Normal for when batteries are dying…

I found it interesting that Mien Kampf the book by Hitler has gone off the charts in sales in Germany and or other parts of the world. I have read the book many years ago. I also read the “Rise and Fall of the Third Reich.” They are an interesting read and people need to read, to find out about history and read the correct stuff…

Speaking of reading! I have found that the series from the 1930’s called Astounding Stories is free to download. They are not under any copyright issues anymore. So amazing to read these scifi short stories and study what the moon, mars and such was dreamed of back then…

Made a pot of Bean Soup yesterday. I stuck it in the outer room to freeze and store it. I put it on the wood stove to heat it up and will enjoy the soup today. I made enough to last three days. Then I will make another soup of some kind. This is important and you can always eat when needed, hot soup from the wood stove top. Yummy…

I put smoked kielbasa and ham in it and a can of white beans. Then a little garlic, a can of corn, salt, pepper and cooked it for hours and hours. I just added some salo and an onion to the soup. It smells so good and Boza keeps sniffing the air every so often. Sorry Boza, bear food only…

Gotta go shovel snow! For if I do not; we may not get out of the house for awhile… 😉

Everyday is a new canvas…

Snow falling is akin to painting a canvas white and starting over. Almost everyday snow falls here in the Tiny Russian Village. The effect is wonderful, if not frustrating at times…

This morning at 2:15 a.m. Boza and I stepped outside to a fresh painted world. The snow I removed the day before, the tracks we left to the well, down the road and in the yard were all gone. The world had transformed, once again, into a new fresh laid canvas on which we could paint and play…

There is something interesting about stepping on a surface that looks untouched. Your mind knows you walked there yesterday, but your eyes tell you that it is a new path and a new surface to walk on. Every step is soft and snow puffs in the -15 degree chill. The sky was crystal clear and not a hint of breeze anywhere. The snow you kick up seems to hang in the air a few seconds and then settle like talcum powder floating to the ground…

It really is a wonderful world we live in…

Have a nice day from the Tiny Russian Village!

I have written much about Winds Changing in the world…

I laid some ground work about this subject many years ago and these winds have changed. Not all the way, but they have changed, just as I watch the winds change as the weather changes. If the wind is from the south, it is warmer than from the north. We are witnessing a wind from the west, changing to a wind from the east. Granted at first it was just a breeze, but it has become a force to reckon with and wind does not just stop, it finds away to get around barriers…

In 2008 I saw this coming and almost ten years later, I see it has happened. Still some blowing to go, but it has changed direction…

Russia: A Shifting Of The Winds!

At this point only a World War will stop or impede that shifting wind and then it will resume and start blowing even after the war ends…

We have almost 6000 articles on Windows to Russia! This site has been in publication for over 10 years and counting. The site has been attacked numerous times by the Western Governments and blocked on many occasions. The truth is that what we will be, become and develop into in the future is up to us. If we (That is you and I from the USA!) want to be part of the world. We need to grow up and learn about what we do and how we do it as a country that should have been the leader of the world…

I realize I am more a Wolf, but – and – or actually a Bear! I eat both vegetation (such as berries) and meat… Though I will eat a sheep for dessert…. I do not fear the lone wolf…

Yes we thought we were and are now finding out that bullying is not leading…

I am not afraid of an army of lions led by a sheep; I am afraid of an army of sheep led by a lion. – Alexander the Great

We are and have become those sheep…

Farewell to the American world order by Libak Anna (Anna Libak)

This is a must read…

http://www.b.dk/globalt/farvel-til-den-amerikanske-verdensorden (Original in Danish)

These days the world is witnessing a strange, unprecedented phenomenon. In the US, the two presidents, they dive in front of the whole society and expose the strongest power in the world to ridicule.

US President-elect Donald Trump appoints ambassador to Israel, supporter of settlement building and promised to translate embassy in Jerusalem, while Barack Obama is not the first time the Security Council vetoes resolution condemning Israeli settlement.

And it is the most recent example, which yesterday led Uri Friedman (Uri Friedman) of the magazine the The Atlantic:

«Barack Obama promises to take revenge for the intervention of the Russian government in the election campaign in the US, while Donald Trump doubts of meddling in Russia and Vladimir Putin thanks for “very friendly” Christmas greetings.Obama’s Pentagon demands that China returned underwater drone, seized in the South China Sea, while Trump describes the episode as “unprecedented”, but then suddenly changes its position and offering the Chinese leave the machine itself, “- says Uri Friedman.

Facts

The Pax The Americana – which translates from Latin as American world – the designation of the post-World War II until today, when the United States because of its power of ensuring peace and prosperity in much of the Western world. The name arose under the influence of Pax Romana, used in relation to the 206-year history of the Roman Empire from 27 BC 180 of the new era, when the reign of Rome and the Roman law provided the harmony even in those regions, which are usually at odds with each other.

It is hard to imagine a more convincing evidence that the Pax Americana era passed. Because it represents the era of Pax Americana since the end of World War II, when the United States was the standard to which his attitude – positive or negative – were required to identify all of the world: both friends and enemies.

This was the order of the world, which has led to the fact that all clearly understand what he meant President George W. Bush when he said after September 11:. “Either you are with us or against us” No one asked, “Who is this” we “? Today it had to be done. Because who is the “we” today? This Trump? Or Obama?

The collapse of the old order of

The answer to this question is of no interest in many countries of the world, because there have long ceased to be guided by the United States. Here are just three very eloquent example. On Tuesday, Turkey, Iran and Russia held a meeting in Moscow to work out a peace plan in Syria. No representative of the United Nations for a peaceful solution to the Syrian problem, Staffan de Mistura, nor anyone from the US were not even invited. It was a shame, and it was done on purpose.

In the Philippines, which from 1950 were US allies, the new president Rodrigo Duterte in November said that if China and Russia will decide to establish a new world order, it will be the first to join him. There is no doubt that the military junta in Thailand, another traditional ally of the Americans, might well think the same thing here in recent years, too, have changed the US on Russia as a partner.

If anyone still doubts that you can remember and that so-called “tripartite working group” recently held a meeting on Afghanistan in Moscow. And from whom did the group consist of? In her senior officials from Russia, China and Pakistan. Afghans themselves are not invited to that, according to Deutsche Welle, is a consequence of the fact that between Afghanistan and India, there has been some convergence, leading to the fact that Pakistan, a longtime enemy India now wants to unite with Russia and China to prevent the growth of the influence of the New Delhi to Kabul.

And what about the US? The US, which in Afghanistan are still 8,000 servicemen? Well, they at that meeting was not. And as far as we know, can not say that to someone they did not have much there.

In Europe, most notably that the old order collapsed.

In March, an American journalist Anne Applebaum (Anne Applebaum) predicted that by the collapse of the liberal world order can cause the triad of events: Breksa, Trump election and the election of the French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen. Today Breksa and Trump have become a reality, all eyes are on the upcoming presidential elections in France. But Applebaum has not understood that the change does not depend on these three events. The change has already occurred.

Putin – a natural ally

Because if the presidential election did not win Marine Le Pen in France, we can expect that it will make the Republican candidate Francois Fillon. It also means a change of the political system. He, too, with pride and warmth talking about the nation-state, the border is closed, and the French identity.

“We have to minimize immigration. Our country is not a conglomeration of different societies, there is one national identity “, – he said recently at a meeting with voters. According to the New York Times, he also described the radical Islam “totalitarianism, the same as Nazism.”

Like Le Pen, to address NATO had only harsh words, because, in his opinion, the alliance has become a tool of the “American expansionism.” And just like Le Pen, on Putin, he can only say good, because it believes that Putin – a natural ally in the war on terror.

The fight for the presidency in France will not go between globalist and nationalist, here the choice between left and right nationalism, and François Fillon, with its requirement of large-scale public sector cuts – right.

The claim that a liberal world order can resist or fail depending on the choice of certain individuals – Geert Wilders in Holland, Marine Le Pen in France, Frauke Petry from the “Alternative for Germany” in Germany or Heinz-Christian Strache of the “Freedom Party” in Austria – surface. It is a consequence of policies that excessive attention to personalities. Geert Wilders is not even necessary to be elected because the Dutch government is already actively pursuing its policy. The maximum that can offer Heinz-Christian Strache of the “Freedom Party” in Austria – this is a cosmetic change social-democratic coalition government policy, because it is an exact copy of what acts of his own party.

And if Merkel next autumn will be re-elected Chancellor of Germany, it will be more experienced and mature alter ego Frauke Petry from the “Alternative for Germany”. Transformation Merkel has already begun: when it recently re-elected to the presidency of HDZ, she responded to the fact that befell those who covers her face (hijab – ed..) And want to prevent it wherever possible.

This, of course, can be explained by the fact that the protest movement in the West – contrary to widespread belief – not what leads to change. They themselves are the result of changes: in a world where collapsed Pax Americana, and which can no longer distribute their values on others outside the EU, but where you have to use all their strength in order to prevent them to spread their values on us.

The protest movement – a reaction to the fact that we did not make decisions, and that decisions are made about us. Some time ago, we fought with the pirates in the Gulf of Aden and introduced democracy in Iraq; Now we cover the sculpture in Rome when traveling by the president of Iran, and breaks out of the hands of the demonstrators Tibetan flags when coming to Copenhagen Chinese leader.

In this world, the supporters of the old order would have to be overcome: because the old order collapsed. The new order has not yet come to replace the old politics has turned into a big battle: how can we protect ourselves from threats looming over us.

Incompatible civilization

Roughly speaking, the struggle for a future world order is being kulturalistami between the left and the liberals.

According kulturalistov, the world consists of various civilizations that are incompatible with each other. During the Cold War was a struggle between the Christian West and the atheistic Soviet Union. Now we are talking about the struggle between the Christian West and Islamism which threatens to destroy us.

For liberals, the world looks different. According to them, the struggle is not between civilizations but between freedom and unfreedom: between democracy and dictatorship.

These different outlook stem from different views about who is a major player on the world stage.

Naturally, for kulturalistov nation-state – is the alpha and omega. It is a cultural product, enhanced with the help of the special geographical, historical, religious, and political circumstances.

Otherwise, with the liberals who believe that democracy and state of law based on the principles and values, which must all join in the free world, and Muslims too. Therefore, the Liberals want to keep the EU, NATO and other key western forums where democracy all together fighting for the preservation and promotion of these values.

In the past 25 years, these two areas make common cause: because the West was strong enough to dominate, and what it was justified, it was equally important.

But the West is not the same.

Now paths diverged as recently wrote another writer in the Atlantic, Peter Beinart (Peter Beinart): «Ideological and civilizing (in this material liberals and kulturalisty – Ed.). Forces were united in the struggle with the Soviet Union. But they disagree on whether the Russian totalitarian enemy or protector of the Christian West. ”

Pax Americana collapsed. We are not fighting for the others to become like us: we must now fight for something, not to be like them. But the worst thing, in fact, that the first time we can not possibly after the end of World War II, to agree on who are our enemies.

Windy, Coffee and wicked cold coming…

Russia is the land of snow!

Not always deep, but always what seems forever. Snow is part of life and reprieve is not available. Some would say that the next 24 hours is a reprieve!

+1 for about 24 hours. That seems great, but it will be windy and will snow to beat the band. The little that melts will become ice and more ice. This makes life terrible to get around. Nothing seems to help and Boza and I will wish for the cold to come back. Then we need more snow on top of all the frozen melt. For that is the only traction we will have to walk around. Boza dislikes ice skating and I do not like to fall down…

Then after 24 hours, comes the cold again. They have eased the bitter cold to about -30, but I think it will get worse, much worse. We are not shielded by big city walls and buildings and thus, we see the real cold that is available…

Life in our Tiny Russian Village is pure white!

A white so clean that you can simply eat the snow and use it for water if need be. So few vehicles are able to make it here, that the roads are very hard to discern from the surroundings. Makes getting around interesting…

But Boza and I know the village well and we know the best spots to walk to and keep out of the three plus foot of snow we have so far. The wind is nice for one reason, it carves paths to walk in, all over the place. The snow is like drifting sand dunes, except the snow is bitter cold…

The new year has started like a lamb and soon the lion will come to eat the lamb. I wish I could say different, but, it is what it is…

Plenty of coffee…

I am sipping my second cup of coffee and I hear the birdbrains at the back of the house. I found where they stay the night and they huddle all together in our back yard. There is old chicken feed and a semblance of shelter, that seems to meet their criteria and they are happy there. Maybe a hundred sparrows shelter there. I am glad and already have put out their food for this morning. When I put out the food, a lone chickadee sang the morning breakfast bell and all his friends came to enjoy some sunflower seeds…

The sparrows still sleep, but right now I hear them scratching at the back of the house…

The chickadees are a trip; They follow me everywhere in the yard and even a trip to the outhouse is not to have peace. They come into the outhouse and give their demands for more sunflower seeds. They make me laugh, as they look at me and wonder what I am doing…

The chickadees wait and even before the sunflower seeds hit the ground, they are grabbing them, in mid air. Then the cherry trees are alive with the sound of pecking and cracking of seeds. I count as many as twenty at times and they are busy as bees eating their breakfast. The sparrows still have issues with sunflower seeds and jst scatter them, for the most part all over the yard and the chickadees follow the sparrows around and get the seeds they drop…

But, I must give credit to the sparrows, they try and try and try to eat a sunflower seed…

Greedy Gobblers…

Wonder why?

It seems very self-defeating to the Western Empire. The intentional division of the world. I talked about the East West division many times on this blog, but now that the West has gone into overtime to continue that division, I wonder what the bigger game could be. For the West is much small in population and actually lagging in almost all aspects of anything you can name. There is more to life than what the Western Empire deems as the perfect life and I know, I live in the East, but grew up in the West…

I do not see the benefit to the system that has become predominate in our lives? Why can we not simply, just get along. Let people enjoy life…

Then I do not sell weapons of mass destruction either! I also do not place life as less important than material items and I do not think that we need a world powered by oil. If we would harness something as simple as the suns free energy, we would do much better in this world. Oil is nice for easy quick energy, but a windmill at my home in the Tiny Russian Village, would satisfy what I need to do with life… And or solar cells on the roof. Either way, would be sufficient for power needs…

I guess I am either weird or wrong, but I plan on staying that way…. I like who I am…

America has become weird…

Yes that is right and if you want to see what I mean, come out in the world and live a few years among the natives of the planet. I guess I just said that you do not belong to the world if you stay hidden behind governmental walls of propaganda and fences or steel, brick and mortar, wood or stone…

America is strange to me now. I cannot see what the good is about it. My grandma would say, “When the good is outweighed by the bad? It is time to leave!”

Life is too short to fight every battle and everyone…. And the bad are winning right now in our world…

I wonder if that means people are more bad than good or do people just sit back and ignore what is happening?

Dunno…
