Several instigated incidents with US surveillance planes approaching Russian borders on the Black Sea waters has been in the western news as Russian aggression. But….as we know the USA is usually where it does not belong….many times many thousands of miles away from the US homeland…

The Russian Ministry of Defense has politely reminded and warned Washington DC of the USA, that its reconnaissance planes in the Black Sea region, “Will be met by Russian jets, but not by the Ukrainian partners.”

Ironically the Russian Ministry of Defense has had to go a step farther with its warning and wisdom. They added that another option to solve the flight deviations that seem to be happening, is for the Pentagon to solve its flying issues, “To issue new maps with correct Russian airspace borders to all the crews.”

One of the most expensive foods you can buy in Russia are cow tongues. What I use to get for free in America (no one eats them,) are sought after and used for special occasions in Russia. Never found a cheap cow tongue yet in the stores. Cheap beef, cheap pork and very cheap chicken, but that cow tongue is gold in price…

In Russia: Beef and pork tongue are considered delicacies due to a gentle soft texture, exquisite taste, vitamin and nutritional value. The makeup of its structure is a simple solid muscle, therefore it contains lots of proteins, some fat and is practically devoid of carbohydrates. As beef tongue is rich in zinc, which helps produces insulin in the body of a diabetic, which is good for it helps people like me. The absence of connective tissue in the tongue ensures its excellent digestibility, so you can definitely call it a dietary product. It remains for us to learn how to properly prepare the beef tongue…

You will need:

One beef tongue (bigger the better in Russia)
One large onion
Two large carrots
Five sticks of celery
Salt, garlic and pepper to taste

1. Wash the beef tongue in hot water (Hot? A Russian thing to do, not cold! Other words rinse the cow tongue…)
2. Cut off excess fat…
3. If you can peal off the skin at this point, okay get peeling, peel that tongue…
4. Oops, you cannot do it? If it does not peel easily, don’t worry you can skin the tongue once it is cooked… (Sorry, but I think they taste much better peeled to start with…)
5. If you are not planning on serving the whole beef tongue at the dinner table and carve it, as the family delicacy that it is, you can cut it in half on the long side and or big chunks however you want…
6. Put the beef tongue into a large pot and add boiling water just enough to cover the tongue…
7. Add diced onion, carrot, celery sticks. Then season to taste (be careful here, some tongues come pre-brined,) go ahead and give it some garlic…
8. Bring to boil 5 minutes hard boil, then turn down the heat and simmer…
9. Then skim the nasty looking foam from the surface of the water…
10. Let the cow tongue simmer slowly for about an hour… (I simmer for two hours many times, the longer the more tender it becomes…)

Yummy…

Now get ready for a licking good time. It makes great sandwiches (sliced with ketchup) and if the family does not gross out, you can carve it (skinned of course or not! 😉 ) right in front of them, like a turkey…

Oh, I love cow tongue…add mashed potatoes, greenbeans and what ever…

Leftovers? What leftovers? Dice it and make a cow tongue salad to spread on a piece of bread…

Yes it is, but Russia does not stop the propaganda from the USA media. It gets sickening at times to see American media lying so decisively in Russia. No restraints and no censorship. I do not mind the lies about Russia, but they never post something that is pro Russian. It is sad really to see American, British and other lapdogs frothing at the bit, trying to degrade Russia with lies…

Most of these articles by western press are from guys and gals who never have lived in Russia and or stay hidden in their ivory towers in Moscow, spouting trash about something they do not live…

At least RT is balanced for the most part and Sputnik is very balanced. They post all the crap and more. Sputnik is the best to read for Russian and American news…

I know, I live in Russia and deal with Russians daily. Why Boza and I even have to deal with mean Russian doggies, that desire to whoop our asses, everyday… 😉

Yesterday was a rough day:

Boza had issues and I felt like someone beat me with a two by four and kept beating me just for fun all day. Today though, both Boza and I are doing better. The weather has a bunch to do with how Boza and I are doing and it has been snowing and snowing. Getting deep out there in the arctic wonderland…

Want to talk about Linux:

We have found that there is nothing that we need Windows OS for. Now granted we are not big game players and thus, we have no games to worry about to make work and that seems to be the issue that most people have. Therefore, when I talk about no problems, I talk about no issues with normal usable software. Such as Microsoft Word, Adobe and many other Windows programs. I even have installed Microsoft Office and find it very usable if needed. But….not needed for there are many programs that do the same job and even better…

Everyday we work with Linux Mint and it keeps itself updated. The updates do not take but a few minutes and they keep everything running smoothly. I reboot about once a week just to start a fresh version of the OS and clear any issues up. I did find that sometimes the Firefox browser needs to be refreshed and keep it from jamming up…

Try it and you will like it. It is very stable and has a graphical front end that makes using Linux a breeze. The learning curve is small and you will find it is adaptable to almost anything you use for a Windows interface. Maybe tablets and phones are not usable and truly Linux Mint does not care to become usable on those items…

Any drive used by Windows, will be usable by Linux Mint. This makes it a great dual boot OS and will save your data as you struggle with Windows OS. Svetochka has adapted wonderfully to Linux and I breath a sigh of relief, for that has always been my drawback to deal with. Windows with all its issues, is still easier for non-Linux users to deal with. Linux has terminology that scares Windows users and a word like compiling makes for jitters to many…

It really is time for people to take back control of there lives and something simple and easy to do is to get rid of Windows OS off your current computer. People need to help themselves before they get help in a better life. Linux gives control of what you do on your computer and phoning home a hundred times a day to spy on you is something that you need to deal with. Windows OS is history and we need to send it to the dustbin…

They have accomplished this feat and it is based on Linux. I really like the new OS and will one day even switch to it. I have talk several times about the system and used it for a while in the Tiny Russian Village. It had bugs back then, but from what I understand it has been made available and is rolling out now to all aspects of the government and schools in Russia. This will make Russia much safer from back door attacks by the USA, due to Windows usage in the past…

The bottom line truth is, Windows has been used to infiltrate other countries and governments have finally woke up to that fact….then again, Windows is used to spy on the people in the US and you should switch OS’s to get away from that issue…

Now I am not stupid and realize that Russia will do the same to her people. Thus, I use a world available OS like Linux Mint…

In an act of insane escalation of provocations against Russia, Washington has produced a list of 210 top Russian government officials and important business executives who are “gangsters,” “members of Putin’s gang,” “threats,” “people deserving to be sanctioned,” or however the Western presstitutes care to explain the list. The absurd list includes the Prime Minister of Russia, the Foreign Minister, the Defense Minister, and executives of Gazprom, Rosneft, and Bank Rossiya. In other words, the suggestion is that the entirety of Russian political and business leadership is corrupt.

The Russians do not seem to understand the purpose of the list. Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the government sees the list as an attempt to interfere in the Russian presidential election. There is no doubt that Washington would like to reduce Putin’s public support so that Washington can use the Western-funded NGOs operating in Russia to present American stooges as Russia’s true voices. However, it is unlikely that the Russian people are stupid enough to fall for such a trick.

PS: It has help America also. No market for the Bush Legs and prices dropped on chicken in much of the USA. One of the only things to drop is chicken, but when one of your largest markets tells you to go away, guess what. Market is over saturated and price has to drop…
