We leave tomorrow to see a wonderful country called Armenia…
We will take lots of pictures and we are going to see a very unique country, a country that I would imagine very few western people could even find on the map, even if you put a gun to their heads. But this country was about a year plus ago, given the Color Revolution treatment by the west…
The west thought that being forced to be a democracy would cause the evil Russia to turn its back upon Armenia and exactly the opposite has happened. It is strange, but Russia is much more a democracy than America and definable much more than Britain and when you see the bile of propaganda spew forth from the western press. You realize that Armenia has been used a tool to try to get to Russia…
So now you have a country called Armenia, that is more of a democracy than most of the western world and Russia is embracing that issue. Why not? Russia is a democracy and that is why so many times the games of the west fail…
A false western democracy cannot implement democracy under stress and then try to instill a dictator to do its bidding…
Interesting is how I look at it…
Armenia has about 70% of the population that knows and speaks Russian…
Svetochka and I are going to see this beautiful gem of a country and get to know it better. many Russians have family there and Russians have ties that go deeper than the western dictator abilities of western back governments are able to deal with…
I may or may not post from there, but I will post images when I get back…
Really do not know about the internet situation at all. When we traveled to Moldova years ago, the internet was basically non existent…
Maybe and or Maybe Not…

I have never had a phone like this…
This is beyond anything including all the Samsung, iPhone and many others that I have enjoyed over the years…
The ZTE Axon 10 Pro is simply the best of the best and priced as a mid-range phone. We realized that the USA playing games with ZTE, as they are doing with Huawei, has given us the deal of a lifetime for such a device and we took advantage of it…
My excellent Samsung S7 Edge will go to pro-babushka (Sveta’s mother) as her phone. I have it all stock and ready to go. The S7Edge is still top of the line in my eyes and it was a hard decision to give it up…
Well, okay, not so hard when I got my paws on the ZTE Axon 10 Pro. I fell in love with the ZTE…
I stay phone tech in touch with the reality of the world. It is one of my weaknesses. Phones, Android Phones to be exact, are my weakness and as tech advances, I get itchy to have the availability of using that tech…
It all came down to either a Huawei P30 Pro or ZTE Axon 10 Pro. Both companies have been attacked by the USA and both companies have the best phones you can buy anywhere in the world, well except in the USA and in the US you have to settle for second and or third and or fourth best… 😉
Another tidbit that has pleased me; Android hung itself many years ago and made it imperative that you rooted to allow the full potential to be obtained from android itself. Many years have gone by and nothing changed until recently. The aspect of rooting an android has now become obsolete. At least to me in my eyes and I have done everything, from building my own custom ROM’s to rooting everything I ever got…
The ZTE Axon 10 Pro is the first phone I have owned that had android and it does not need to be rooted…
It has 6 Gigs of RAM and 128 Gigs of ROM. It allows me to disable anything I want literally. At least anything that matters to me. There is so much memory room of various types that I do not have to root to gain an edge and enough space to do what I want. The phone is fast and perfect…
Even the S7 Edge I have is only able to reach its potential with rooting…
Android has come a long ways in the last ten years. This last OS system called Android 9 Pie is finally the step needed to exceed iOS as a mobile phone OS…
There no longer is a reason that iPhone Fan Boys are able to say that iOS is better than Android…
Now that is what I call progress in this dog eat dog world of technology…
First time ever that I walk around with a smartphone that is not jail-broke and or rooted…
Life is getting better for this grouchy old bear…

The USA is sounding desperate and scared, now…
The Chinese are winning this “Mother of God Great Trade War”, without even taxing their system…
China has and for a long time now hooks its currency against USD or any other major currencies for that matter, to maintain its value within a narrow acceptable range…
China would mediate its money supply to print more Yuan to drive down and or up value, as needed. If the Yuan drops too much, China would buy up more Yuan, to shore up its value, using its massive $1.4 trillion – USD reserve….like a piggy bank in your home….fill it when life is roses and empty it when life throws rain upon you…
Almost always China has intervened to keep the Yuan low, (not propping it up), in the last several decades it has been very consistent, so the appreciation of the Yuan, due to rapid economic growth, won’t hurt it’s giant export production machine…
A cheap currency helps export, and decreases imports, thus increasing trade surplus with who they deal with, while an expensive, strong or over-valued currency, like the USD, does the opposite. This is evident as we watch what is happening…
A strong currency encourages import, and discourage export. This is why USA has a massive Trade Deficit with nearly every countries. Literally every country in the world. It is because it has to be when you have the reserve currency…
The USD is excessively over-valued…
By the USA adding tariffs on the Chinese products, and proclaim the Chinese economy is going to crash anytime, the USA has created the expectation or perception that the Chinese exports will suffer, therefore, the Yuan will be traded lower…
The Chinese simply have let that exactly happen, and they had to do nothing, and the USA accuses the Chinese of currency manipulation…
This is the most brilliant move the Chinese (Or the stupidest move by the USA.) have made yet. Yet we are the ones to have tied the rope around our own necks and handed the end of that rope to China…
If China voluntarily devalue the Yuan, to help their exports, to fight Trump’s Great Trade War against China, they will be surely viewed as currency manipulators around the world. But they are not, for the world is watching a flailing Titanic sink…
Now, that the USA did this for the Chinese, by her daily attacks upon the Chinese and keep playing the tariff game. The tariffs ultimately fall upon the American people and businesses, creating a perception of lies, that the Chinese are hurting badly. The western media is complacent in spreading those lies…
They simply just let the Yuan slide…
Believe what you want but the USA is loosing this battle, for we have nothing to fight with, but our currency and since we weaponized our currency, we have showed the world that we are unreliable to do business with…

Armenia is where we will be next week. Sveta and I cannot wait. We are going to spend a week in Armenia seeing the sights and looking at the cradle of civilization. Sounds cool huh?
Just walking this morning and looking at life in the Moscow area called Korolyov….what a wonderful city. I am lucky to be an American living in such a beautiful city within Russia…
Last image is of a woodpecker. Right in the middle of Korolyov, Russia. He did not care as I stood and watched him. He was busy digging bugs out from a tree and ignored my presence. When I got done looking at him, I turned and found three more people watching him also. That is the way it is in Moscow, everyone ignores everything, until someone stops and looks at something…
Even in a department store, you look at something and people flock to see what you have found. It has taken me awhile, but I am getting use to it after all these years…
I have found it comforting that the Russian spend lots of money on parks. Parks are very important to Russians and in cities such as Korolyov and Moscow they are also very important. People need a place to escape the masses of humanity, and lots of parks help…
Today I sat in a new park, no one was around for it was Saturday morning and a squirrel, a sparrow and a stray dog, all came by to say hi. I growled at them and they laughed as they went to other exciting things to see…
I guess Big Bear is not scary to some…

It is bewildering watching many of the US Americans, they do not understand and or not able to comprehend and or accept that China is no longer interested to deal in anyway with them, China found and has been shifting exports for years now, knowing that the USA is a bully in the sandbox…
Additionally, the US Americans believe if the USA stops buying from China, China will go bankrupt. Not knowing their (USA) buying share of the Chinese export market is and was only more or less, 16% of all China exports to the world…
Propaganda has wantonly overwhelmed the USA masses…
Effectively, the US Education System, mass media, Gov ruling the peasants, like everything else interposed within the USA borders, is extremely superficial in nature. Which I suppose is a perfect match for the people in the US…
Exceedingly self-perceived intellectuals juxtaposed to land whales…
I think it, hear it, see it and thus it is true…

I started it as an experience before I left for the Tiny Russian Village. Sveta took over the care and she did a great job. I transplanted it. I bought a fresh new pot and potting soil and now we have an Avocado Tree growing…
I think Sveta did a wonderful job of taking care of our new baby…

I love to walk in the morning, after getting Svetochka on to the train to Moscow…
I inevitably pass by a huge bakery that produces bread fresh daily, actually 24 hours a day and in the morning the smell of cinnamon rolls is overwhelming….the image is of just the storefront and the bakery is about two or even three blocks long and the same deep…
хлеб – (khleb) is bread… Look at the sign above the door of the green entrance in the image below…
I swear that just walking by and breathing the fresh baked odors wafting in the air is enough to gain a kilo, as you walk by…
Thus, I have to walk faster and farther just to work off the smell of those cinnamon rolls…
Regardless, I have to stand there and breath for a minute. They are truly heavenly…

Well I just get back from being in the Tiny Russian Village and was looking forward to that hot shower. You know? Water comes out of the tub shower head and you get to scald all the months of TRV dirt off your body!
But I must have upset the hot water gods….we do not have hot water and I will grumble and mumble about taking a cold shower. I could have and did take cold showers in the Tiny Russian Village. In fact, if it rained, I went out and showered that way. Kinda hard to run out here in Moscow and shower in the rain, with 20 zillion people all over the place…
But hey, look at the bright side of things. I have running cold water and do not have to pour cold water over my head from a bucket, or jump in the river and or fall in the lake, just to get clean. I can stand in modern day Moscow and take a cold shower… 😉
It should be back on in the next few days?

PS: Just have another cup of coffee and all will be fine…
