I do not disagree, being an ex-smoker, I have to say, “People that smoke indoors and at the doorways of businesses stink…”

The image to the left is becoming more common in Moscow. This smoking area is at a mall near us and the employees need to smoke here instead of at the door of the mall…

Nothing worse than walking through a wall of smoke as a non-smoker and it is even worse when you are an ex-smoker…

I personally think that this is nice that they even went to the trouble to make a place. It is covered and has a trashcan/ashtray for everyone’s usage…

Makes sense to me…

Russia is tripping the lights with China. I have talked many times about the fact that Russia has to turn east and get away from the west. Everyday, I see things getting better here in Russia and it is nice to watch and experience…

Really it is nice being on a side of the world that still embraces the future. Not a future of trying to stifle the world, but a future of trying to make the world a better place. There is a difference between shaping the world to be your subservient under the sign of death and or shaping the world through advancement of life by embracing the the fullness of time…

Sveta and I a few days ago had talked about getting the money together to pay the hosting for WtR. It costs us $129 equivalent in USD and while that may seem to be a tiny amount to some, it is a large amount to others. The truth is that our host at 1984 is fantastic and we pay much less than they are worth…

Just do not tell them that, they may raise the price… 😉

No, they are fair people at our hosting…

So the gist of what I am trying to say is that several people have come through and helped with some money to get our hosting paid and not have to take from the home pot, so to say…

RIAMO (QUEEN) – 5 Jun. State Corporation Roscosmos and the Cosmonaut Training Center named after Yu.A. Gagarin opened for a set of cosmonauts, the campaign will last until June 1, 2020, according to the website of “Roscosmos”.

The campaign will select the best specialists who will work in order to ensure the implementation of the Federal Space Program of Russia.

“State Corporation” Roskosmos “and the Cosmonaut Training Center named after Yu.A. Gagarin announced the selection of a cosmonaut corps! The campaign started on June 3rd. Applications and documents (copies of originals) are accepted from June 3, 2019 to June 1, 2020,” the message says.

Any citizen of the Russian Federation who meets the established requirements can participate in an open competition. According to the terms of the competition, it is planned to select four people who will join the cosmonaut “Roscosmos”.

There are a number of requirements for future astronauts. So, the applicant must be no older than 35 years old, he must have a higher education of technical or natural science, must speak English, and more.

РИАМО (КОРОЛЕВ) – 5 июн. Госкорпорация «Роскосмос» и Центр подготовки космонавтов имени Ю.А. Гагарина открыли набор в отряд космонавтов, кампания продлится до 1 июня 2020 года, сообщается на сайте «Роскосмоса».

В ходе кампании отберут лучших специалистов, которые будут работать в целях обеспечения выполнения Федеральной космической программы России.

«Госкорпорация «Роскосмос» и Центр подготовки космонавтов имени Ю.А. Гагарина объявляют отбор в отряд космонавтов! Кампания стартовала 3 июня. Заявления и документы (копии оригиналов) принимаются в период с 3 июня 2019 года по 1 июня 2020 года», – говорится в сообщении.

В открытом конкурсе может участвовать любой гражданин РФ, который удовлетворяет установленным требованиям. Согласно условиям конкурса, предполагается отобрать четырех человек, которые пополнят отряд космонавтов «Роскосмоса».

К будущим космонавтам предъявляется ряд требований. Так, претендент должен быть не старше 35 лет, он должен иметь высшее образование технического или естественно-научного направления, должен владеть английским языком и другое.

China getting ready to go to the moon and now Russia…

Xi Jinping visits Russia more than any other country – and his great personal relationship with Vladimir Putin is one of the reasons for that, the Chinese President revealed after talks with his Russian counterpart in Moscow.

“This is my eighth trip to Russia since 2013,” Xi told the journalists, who gathered at the Kremlin on Wednesday.

According to the Chinese leader’s stats, he and Putin “have met almost thirty times over the past six years.”

Russia is the most visited foreign state for me and President Putin is my closest friend and a good colleague.

The mutual understanding between the two heads of state is reflected in the “high level” of bilateral ties and strategic cooperation between Beijing and Moscow, Xi said. The

Chinese leader added that his Wednesday with Putin also went on in “a very frank and friendly atmosphere.”

I think I will send the image of McDonald’s to the headquarters of the McDonald’s in the Moscow Downtown area….we sat there one hour. 12 employees visible, almost empty place and had to eat with almost every table dirty. Never cleaned up and I took this as we left…

The map details are at least thirty years old. It is basically unusable for anyone not from the area. Roads blocked now are not there. New roads are not there. New buildings are not there. Example is where we live. They show us as tiny one and two story homes still…

Gillette is hurting and hurting bad in Russia. Gillette use to be the undisputed KING of shaving stuff within Russia and were until they played the fool on advertisements. Now you will find Gillette shavers collecting dust on the shelves and Gillette has seen it necessary to run promotions, promotions that they have never had to do before…

BIC is selling like gangbusters in Russia and most guys like me have switched to Russia made. It is as good if not better than Gillette…

Russia needs to remove Gillette from the country, but that is just my personal preference and I know they will not… Have you seen the latest again another Gillette crap video and advertisement?

Sorry people keep politics and personal issues out of the corporations. Just make a damn good product and treat everyone as being neutral…
