Russia did not play the game, they patiently said no and watched as the rope was dealt out for Lukashenko to tie the knot himself. I think 99% of all our issues we are seeing today worldwide would and could not be solved by simply saying, “The Buck Stops Here!”
Accountability is a major part of keep things in line. If you are accountable and held to accountability? You have a tendency to get it right, either the first time and or correct it when you are wrong. But, when you can just pass the buck? Never is anyone to blame for your stupidity and intentional actions against others…
That would be a good name for the world wide soap opera…

Many years ago, I shipped a car to America and the whole transaction was done by trust in me. 10’s of thousands of dollars were entrusted in me and the person had never met me, except by e-mail and a couple of phone calls. I can be trusted and what I say can be trusted…
I will tell you one thing, not many people have shipped a classic car in that time frame from Russia and not many people have the contacts to do this in Russia and be a foreigner to boot. I think about that car everyday and have a slew of pictures of it. It was a true beauty and many times I wished that I had bought it for myself. It was a true Soviet Treasure… (In my eyes!)
One day, maybe I will write about that escapade and it was a blast I will tell you…
The problem is that I do not find very many Americans that I trust anymore, but I have found a whole world of trusting Russians that deserve to never be let down by a Western World of deceit…
So why do I publish Windows to Russia?
Truth about life, truth about Russia and truth about my America that I was forced from, by a system that has destroyed the American way of life…

Fall is here. The leaves are changing, the fields are brown, The mosquitoes are almost gone, the horseflies have said goodbye, the days are getting very short quickly, single digit temperatures at night, only twenty degrees high in the daytime and the migratory birds are all practicing flying formation to get ready…
In about four months I have gone from the end of winter and now am staring at the start of winter again. For fall is very short, just like spring and summer here in Russia. Summer as normal was about two to three weeks long….I never stopped wearing long sleeves and winter pants. In Russia the only change of clothing to summer is to stop wearing long underwear and not have on three shirts and a coat. It is looking like soon that the long-johns will be going back on…
At 3 a.m. I was woke. It was not just a few weeks ago that I was walking at this time and it was very light out. I woke to pure darkness and shook my head as I said to nobody in particular, “How did the earth tilt so fast again?”
Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate all that spring, summer and fall bring and we still have some warm days to come, but in Russia, I have to start getting mentally prepared for winter and do not let your guard down….winter will catch you off guard easily…
Projects have to be either finished up and done and or do not even start them…
Today I have to get a tire fixed on Sammy the Volga. A very slow leak that takes four or five days to go down has developed and there is a place in a nearby village that repairs tires. So knowing Russia, I will be trying to get the tire fixed from 8 a.m. to at least Noon….things move slow here in Russia and there will not be any other customers, just me….I promise that is true and it took me awhile to get use to such ways of life…
Russia has really thrown a wrench in the Global Bull Sh#$….First on a vaccine for coronavirus and for us here in Russia, things will basically go back to normal (Okay, as normal as Russians can ever be). Does not matter what you think of it all. Russia found a way to “middle finger” the west and its antics…
I don’t fall for all the hype over this virus, but I am not stupid either and am thankful that Russia has thrown a wrench in the spanners, so to say…
Time to get the vaccine (I trust the Russian vaccine long before I would trust one from the Western Empire.) and get on with life. Think you in the western world will see the same? Yea, maybe 2021….maybe!
Sveta and I have to start thinking about where to go and spend a vacation. I really want to get back to Ajman, Emirate and enjoy the lights fantastic. I hope soon that we can get there without too much coronavirus issues…
Our favorite hotel there has offered us some free rooms for several nights and the food is just fantastic, not to say that the ocean is crystal clear and the people all over Ajman are very friendly. I would love to have a winter home there to spend time to recharge the batteries, so to say…

Lots of intentional fires have been started and are still being started by the USA. These fires will be the US undoing….self-inflicted demise!
When they finish this pipeline it will be a turning point in the world. This is a very important issue and it must be done. When done the US is done and the future will change. That is why the US is so scared of this pipeline. There are many unheard business issues being started as fires by the USA, during the last few years, world issues like Huawei that are also a turning point right now. Once all these little fires get under control, the US will be isolated and left in the dark…

A total of 20 nations from Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia have already requested doses of Russia’s breakthrough coronavirus vaccine, which was confirmed to be registered on Tuesday by Russian President Vladimir Putin.At a conference dedicated to the announcement of the vaccine’s registration, the CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) explained that it had already received orders for a billion doses.“Together with our foreign partners, we are ready to produce more than 500 million doses of the vaccine per year,” Kirill Dmitriev explained. Russia’s first vaccine against the coronavirus was developed by the Gamaleya Research Institute. Clinical trials of the vaccine were launched on 18 June and all 38 volunteers developed immunity. Russia has become the first country in the world to register a vaccine against COVID-19, President Vladimir Putin announced on Tuesday during a government meeting. Tried all summer and now that summer is gone, I had to try to salvage our power pole to survive another winter. It is one of those issues that Russia has a problem with…
Trying to get even the power company to do its job is like pulling teeth on a raging bull….just does not happen very easily…

It is one of the reasons I love Russia, yet at times it also can be one of the most frustrating things that you have to deal with. Thus, I did my best and put an oak beam against our failing power pole…
You have to do what it takes to protect your own…
I dug a hole at an angle about 3/4 of a meter deep and drug a 400 lb beam and actually the main trunk of a small oak tree and finally after hours and tearing old injuries in my grouchy bear body, The beam fell into place….I was smart and drilled three holes through the beam at the top and cut the beam at the top at an angle to lay against the power pole, before starting the project….I had bought a box of long heavy steel spikes to attach the beam to the pole through the holes I drilled…
You should have seen the look on my face as the beam fell against the power pole and sat in its hole in the ground at a perfect angle….It was one of those, never in a million years will that happen again. It as my grandma would say, “Was meant to be!”
Believe me, I can appreciate how huge and heavy a power pole is after what I did…
Then I painted it white, because it is so close to the edge of the main road and this morning I orange stripped it to make it stand out better. I am sure that there will be many Russians wondering, “What the Hell?”
It is better than nothing and since we cannot get the power company to do a damn thing about it, I hope that this, with the other work I have done on it, will keep the pole up for the winter!
Then we can start again and try to get the power company to replace the pole…

Yesterday, I had to try to support our power pole near our home. We called and asked for help, but, as you can imagine, coronavirus is the boss and they will be very longtime before getting out to help us. Therefore, I wrapped wire and wedged wood and drove spikes and cussed a bunch. I hope we can get it to stay upright until they can get out to fix it. I also had to put a brace on a home that is hooked to the same line. The home is trying to fall over… and it will take our pole down… which will tear a huge hole in our roof of our village home…
