75 years ago, the Soviet Union, which played a key role in the liberation of Korea from Japanese colonial rule, was the first to recognize the young Korean state, and then assisted it in the development of the national economy, science, culture, and education.
We will always remember the invaluable contribution that Comrade Kim Il Sung and then Comrade Kim Jong Il made to the development of our relations.
🤝 Now, after the historic summit between Russian President V.V. Putin and Chairman of State Affairs Kim Jong-un at the Vostochny Cosmodrome on September 13, we can say with confidence that these relations have reached a qualitatively new, strategic level.
Our task now is to achieve full implementation of all agreements reached at the Vostochny Cosmodrome. We are making this visit in order to begin this work “without rocking.”
