In Russia the Communist Party Seems to be Growing Again…

May Day Rally Communist...

State Duma elections (the parliament’s lower house), take place on December 4, 2011 and the Russian presidential election will take place on March 4, 2012…

From what I hear and see on the street. The communist party may just have the best showing in may years, this time. They are predicting 20% seats for the communist party up from 11% in the State Duma elections…

In fact I know of more who would vote communist than anything else, but that is just my personal experience. That seems so strange to this America, to hear everyone talk about voting communist. To listen to a group of people talk about communism seems strange and in a way it is unique and interesting for me to watch…

I will be curious to see what becomes of these elections this year. I have been here before and now I can start to see things better as I have had 5 years to acclimate to Russia now…

I guess we will see what happens. I do know that the United Russia is showing some faltering and I have not figured out how much of that is intentional to appease the masses. When everyone wins elections by 90% or better, then it looks rigged… 🙂
