At one time when secret operations were utilized and instigated, there were physical eyes on the ground at the site of incursion. This was mandatory and without actual human confirmation of the bogy, we did not pull the trigger on an operation. Why? To keep from trying to execute innocents. There was none of this sitting in an easy chair with a joystick and thinking they had a weapon possibly in their hands, or a camera is an insurgent weapon, bull…
I am sickened to have seen war transformed into a feature video/Hollywood amusement game. Presently we do not care about the “eyes on the ground” and an automaton can’t see into structures. Just eyes on the ground can see deep inside and who resides there. That baby in a crib or that mother nursing her child is innocent. We just assume and we all know that assumption makes an “Ass out of you and me…”
This is a wicked method for getting caring men, women and pilots to murder individuals that generally would not be within focus, because truthfully we are wholesaling the lives of honest individuals and they are getting slaughtered. The eyewitness on the ground would not desire to slaughter guiltless individuals and would cancel a strike on the off-chance that he or she spotted blameless individuals within the proximity of the target zone. We frequently ask why we are detested in many specific parts of the world and this is only one more reason, more inhumanity brings more backlash upon us…
We tell ourselves that we do it to save our men and women’s lives, but actually we do it to not save our lives, but kill others around the world with no indiscretion and moral repercussions… (Here)
But repercussions come in many forms and even now we have a new generation of arm-chair joystick warriors that are showing signs of strain and suicide unheard of in the past history…
Drone War is good business for a handful of people and businesses, but for the rest of us, it is truly a nightmare…
