Long Russian May Holidays coming up…

Russia will have more days of the May break time. In an attempt at breaking the spread of Covid-19. The spread caused by sending kids back to school and 90% of the people ignoring the mask rules and in general not caring. Hospitals are full and it looks bad for right now…

Sveta’s son has a friend that is now fighting his second round of Covid-19…

President Vladimir Putin has said that 4-7 May are likely to be decreed non-working days, other words, in addition to the long weekends of 1-3 May for Labor Day, the holiday will be extended through Victory Day. He announced his decision at a meeting with the head of the federal sanitation-oversight body…

So, that means holidays from May 1st to going back to work on May 11th. Except my Sweetpea has to work the 4th on. The big Gazprom Bank needs to still deal with international trade and such…

So the Tiny Russian Village should be busy during this time as everyone tries to get to the dachas and plant their gardens…

Kinda suspected such a thing would happen. Lots of covid-19 in our home building in Moscow. Lots of youth getting it now and the suffering goes on…

Letting the kids back to physical school set this off…

Everyone blaming everyone for the fire in TRV…

Official word so far is:

In the village of Zarya Svoboda, Saraevsky District, on Monday, April 26, after lunch, the grass caught fire. Fire brigades left for the village at 15.13. In addition to them, fire trucks from the forestry, the “Para” fish farm came to extinguish them. In total, 6 pieces of equipment worked on the fire.

The fire spread very quickly over the area and soon covered a large area, and at the same time two houses, of which practically nothing remained. The burned-out area is 2 hectares.

Here comes one of five fire trucks…

“The fire started with dry grass,” says Alexei Nikanorov, senior inspector of the supervisory department. – It is too early to talk about its reasons, a check is being carried out, but it is possible that the human factor is to blame. If the involvement of people is confirmed, then the culprit will have to answer before the law to the fullest extent. The punishment will depend on the damage caused. If that amount is more than 250 thousand rubles, this is already Article 168 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Destruction or damage to property by negligence), which provides for a punishment of up to 2 years in prison. ”

By the afternoon of Tuesday, April 27, the conflagrations were still smoking and in some places even tongues of flame were breaking through.

So now the non smokers blame the smokers. There was someone from Moscow hanging around and ran away. So on and so on…

Dunno…

We are lucky the whole Tiny Russian Village did not burn!

If the wind had been the opposite direction the whole village would have gone whoosh…
