They are having issues keeping the elderly under control and now are telling them to please stay home for three weeks and we will also pay you an extra 4000 rubles to do that. That might seem cheap, but 4000 rubles is a bunch of money to them, it will buy a bunch of stuff extra for them…
Sveta’s mother is a prime example of who they are struggling to get to stay home. Sveta’s uncle, who is the elder brother of her mother is happy as a bee at a huge flower to stay home and ride it out. I think since he uses western news sources as his reading, is a bit more worried after what he reads in the western news…
Sveta’s mother is even balking at the fact that the government is saying stay home old people. Old Soviet to the core….bless her heart, I understand completely, but I want her safe also…
Five new testing places have been opened in Moscow.Many more will open quickly and I am impressed with how Russia does not wait around to see what might be, but tries to error on the safer side of issues…

A brief thought about the USA…
America you should be ashamed at increasing sanctions during this time and you should be double ashamed at even sanctioning so many countries in the first place. The US has just increased sanctions on Syria, Russia, Iran, China and many more….
The way the USA is acting about this virus is making the world stop and stare. Italy is being helped, by many but the US is looking the other way. Russia has just sent tons of supplies to Italy, yet the US got Poland to close their airspace to Russian jets delivering the help…

China is basically back in full swing, still some limitations, but we have received all items ordered in a timely manner and Russia just got 25,000,000 masks from China no issues…
I am proud of how China handled this virus issue, yes they are still fighting it, yet they have a country, despite all what the western press has said, it pulled together and did what they had to and are doing what they have to now…
Bless the Russians hearts, they are doing the same and it is wonderful to see the respect for the elderly (as in China) that I am seeing in Russia…

Russia has started testing of vaccines against the novel coronavirus disease, Russian consumer rights watchdog Rospotrebnadzor announced on Friday.
“The research center of Rospotrebnadzor started testing the vaccine against the novel coronavirus”, the watchdog said, stressing that the vaccine prototypes are based on six different technological platforms.
Rospotrebnadzor hopes that the mass production of the vaccines would be launched in the fourth quarter of 2020.

Sometimes we must do against our feelings. I desire to stay with Svetochka and will hurt driving away. She is well stocked here in Moscow (For both her mother and her. Sveta has stocked her Uncle completely and her son is isolated in the country with lots of food.) and I have to get the same in the TRV. For then I will be able to help the family when the going gets rough…
