Cold and Crisp in the Russian Village…

Cold! That is the word for the weather right now!

Long underwear and long sleeve warm pullovers are the necessity today. The weather is just perfect after two days of rain, the cold front settled in and the sky is clear and crisp. The sun is almost cool as it hits your face, but you can still get a sunburn easily…

Yesterday, Sveta and I worked on Sammy our car, she is a 1999 Volga station wagon, model 310221 and she is the best car in the world. Sveta just loves her and she is now an official member of the family. Just like Boza our dog is. We scrubbed her and painted all her black areas and today Sveta wants to go cruising around and sightseeing. We have a female Monastery near by (50 kilometers) and they have fantastic meals there. Maybe we will end up there? 🙂

But one of our favorite things to do is to wander around and look at other tiny villages. Now, down here along the river, there is a ton of villages and just wander out into the farm area and there is little farm villages everywhere…

But what ever we do it will be what Sveta wants to do today. Today is Sveta’s birthday and she is a happy girl. She had pancakes this morning…
