Georgia has become a visa-free travel country for Russians. That is my thoughts this morning with a cup of coffee. You must understand that Sveta and I travel basically only to countries that allow Russians to go visa free. Most of the time those same countries allow Americans also and that is why we travel to those countries. Now Georgia is fair game…
The president of Georgia – Saakashvili has already put in effect the changes and they started on the 29th of February, 2012…
So it looks like we will be able to take a trip to Georgia in the middle of March and get some business issues going. It is nice to have a new place to traipse around, that is close by to Russia. I have some big plans that involve Georgia and if my plans work out I will express what is happening on Windows to Russia in the future. All I can say is that Georgia looks to be a gold mine just like Ukraine and Russia are… 🙂
We are making the plans as I write this and have found a wonderful inexpensive hotel in the old part of Tbilisi, Georgia near lots of ancient sites to see…
I just love living on this side of the world. Everything is an opportunity and every cloud really does have a silver lining…

PS: Russia is acting kinda grouchy about all this, but Sveta, I and many other Russians are smiling as we can go see family, friends and do business again in Georgia. Besides it will help bring huge tourist money back to Georgia and Saakashvili knows this…
