This is a post that you will get or you won’t and I suspect most won’t!
Yesterday, I went back to the Big Village and got the front tires replaced. This was after having to replace the rear tires due to serious issues developing. The rear tires had started to have deep cracks appearing between the ample treads. The sidewalls started to show cracks from the sun and weather. The belts deep inside were still strong, yet now that the protective covering was breached, these belts would weaken and die at an accelerated pace…
Kinda like a scratch in the coat of paint and moisture is able to enter under that paint. No matter how tiny that moisture was? It would set off a destruction within time of larger issues. The same as a drip of water in a crack of a huge mountain and millions of years later there is a cave cut for kilometers through that mountain…
So, while physically the tires at first glance look very good. Sure there was wear and tear, yet still looked to do the job for many years. Again, signs like slow air leakage and having to install tubes to keep the tire inflated are major signs of end of life…
So I got ahead of the demise of the rear tires and they were 10 years old. While still able to kick their heals up and play in the mud and snow? They were past their age limit. More able to be relegated to sitting on the porch and watching the grand kids play in the snow…
Okay, now you are saying something like, “What the hell is this guy going on about?”
Well excuse me, but I am talking about how we replaced two tires on the rear of our car and then found that the worse issue in the rear was also an unknown (actually I knew but let it stay filed away in my brain) issue in the front of the car. I was thinking that the tires on the front were still wonderful and the newest at that. Only about 7 years old…
You see, I had to two years ago install a tube in a front tire to stop the leakage of air through the belts of the tire, no visible hole or damage. That tire was also on borrowed time. Sad really, the tires all look so good and yet looks can be very deceiving…
I guess you can look at it like, we bandaged the issues to get further down the road, before having to seriously fix the actual issues. The issues were, two tires on the car had tubes to keep the tires from leaking air and the one on the rear also had a sidewall puncture. It was borrowed time no matter how you look at it…
Kinda like doing plastic surgery facelift and a nose job on a Hollywood Movie Star and they are 70 years old and now want to play the part of a twenty year old in a movie. But they look good? Right?
Now with the tires all good and not causing issues? I have discovered another issue and issue that was covered up by the issue that was tires. Now the front wheel bearings are showing that they have started into the end of life process…
300,000 kilometers on a 200,000 kilometer lifespan limitation. Time for new front wheel bearings…
In a simplified form, “I guess the world is like our front tire…”
It looks good, the surgery has been mostly successful and yes the inmates are running wild and acting the fools. Yet, it all still is a big world and those patches we have everywhere to keep things afloat? Are too numerous to keep slapping new patches upon them. Like a road of potholes? When do you give up tossing cold patch in a hundred holes? When all the holes are within the same hundred meters of road? That section of road looks stupid and it also is dangerous. I see this all the time. I think that leaving the potholes is better than the illusion that you fixed the road…
Our world is most likely looking like that road. patched everywhere to keep things as they were. And things as they were are a short sighted mess…
Rambling thought moment: Easy energy in the form of oil and gas is probably the biggest issue. This easy energy is what has allowed us to be what we are. A bunch of fat rats running out of everything that is easy to get. When all we had to do is harness the free energy that God gave us 24 hours a day upon the earth. That sun we see in the sky is an amazing wasted energy source. The energy that is being radiated upon our planet and all over into space, is wasted, free and plentiful. At least for billions of years. That is a bunch of wasted energy and we act like it is nothing…
It is like we were given enough basic energy within the ground to allow us to develop to the point that we are able to utilize the free energy that would power us to the heavens. Yet, we chose to squander everything for short term pleasure…
That leads us to another serious issue: Like rats will eat and multiple by the billions as long as the food source is plentiful. They simply do not care that when the last bite of grain is gone? Their population will decline to meet the available food supply. No matter what? Food is necessary to increase population and in our world we created from what God created? We have taken the short road to glory and there is no glory at the end of that road. It is an illusion…
Now we are staring at the abyss and seeing bugs in our future? Why? Because, we plebs allow it and there are those who want that cake and eat it to and they definitely do not want you to have their cake…
Hindsight is always a thousand times better than foresight. Cracks are showing everywhere. Little patches are plentiful and most patches have been patched twenty times. How long before the patches are non-functioning? Soon I gather…
Yet, those who have foresight tell us about what will happen and we have had many foresighted humans in our history tell us to get our act together. Even the greatest of humans whom we called Jesus, found that humans are simpletons and God should and has to feel sorry for us, to spare us. For we know not what we are doing…
Jesus was a man, a human, a person upon this earth, who gave us a chance to get our act together and yes I believe that he was real. For, what we did to him is exactly what we would do in this day and age, if he stood with us and among us again. Nothing has changed and nothing will change. We are still the same rats, eating all the food and acting like we are all that. Jesus simply saw that we are simpletons and not the greatness we could become. He saw that what we are is not our fault, we are pathetic, for we are naught but simpletons in mind and soul…
Like with all we encounter?
It is really hard to destroy the pathetic and us humans are the peak of pathetic…
Short tidbit rant about the nemesis of humans and the counterpart to Jesus; Lucifer: Lucifer means light. He is and or was originally the number one angel and to us he is the god of light. God made him in perfection. He is not “God”, but a god regardless. We are like moths going to the flame & light, except we humans should know better. We are lost without belief…

So thus, instead of fixing what we see?
We patch it and hope the steel belts don’t unravel and crash us into the trees on the side of the road! All the while the information, the tools and the wherewithal is available to do it correctly the first time and all subsequent times there after…
Humans? You gotta love how stupid we are!
I guess I am done ranting and rambling for this morning? Feel better? I do, yet I know nothing I say will change humans and what we have allowed ourselves to get into…
