advocate for the protection of the rights of the media and for ensuring their pluralism, note the inadmissibility of the use of unjustified bans on the media and journalists carrying out their professional activities; < …>
consider acts of violence and threats of force against media representatives unacceptable and call for a fair and impartial investigation of crimes and bringing the perpetrators to justice;
call on all interested partners to join forces to achieve the goal of increasing the level of safety of journalists, as well as protecting the right of every citizen to reliable information;
invite states, on a voluntary basis, in accordance with national legislation, to exchange information on cases of attacks and acts of violence against journalists.

выступают в защиту прав СМИ и за обеспечение их плюрализма, отмечают недопустимость применения необоснованных запретов на осуществление СМИ и журналистами своей профессиональной деятельности; <…>
считают недопустимыми акты насилия и угрозы применения силы в отношении представителей СМИ и призывают к справедливому и беспристрастному расследованию преступлений и привлечению виновных к ответственности;
призывают всех заинтересованных партнёров объединить усилия для достижения цели повышения уровня безопасности журналистов, а также защитить право каждого гражданина на достоверную информацию;
предлагают государствам на добровольной основе в соответствии с национальными законодательствами обмениваться информацией о случаях нападения и актов насилия в отношении журналистов.
