❓Question: How would you comment on the new shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and the attempt to seize the plant this morning by sabotage groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine?
💬 Answer: On September 1, the IAEA international mission at the Zaporozhye NPP (ZNPP) enters the main phase. Early in the morning, the Agency’s team headed by Director General R. Grossi and accompanied by representatives of the Department of Security of the UN Secretariat moved towards the station along the agreed route.
The implementation of this extremely important measure, designed to open the eyes of the international community to the real source of the threat to the security of the ZNPP, which is the Ukrainian side, is clearly not to the liking of Kyiv. The moment of truth is inexorably approaching.
❗️ In this regard, on the eve of the Kyiv regime, an attempt was made to disrupt the IAEA mission at the ZNPP.
