Meet “I wanna know what you are doing” birdbrain

I have a new follower. He/she/It (you decide) follows me from one side of the yard to the other. Every time I look around there it is. I have to be careful where I step. “I wanna know what you are doing” as I call it, can fly, yet prefers to run around under my feet as I work…

So I took pictures of this Thrush that has adopted me. I find birds interesting…

I watched this morning in amazement, It grabbed a huge preying mantis, I mean huge and gulp, it was gone down the hatch. Now that would have been a great picture. “I wanna know what you are doing” just runs around all day long and eats bugs, bugs and more bugs. This was one of the birds I talked about that jumped up and down setting off the sensor light. See, it likes bugs and they (moths) swarm those lights…

When the baby Thrushes (birds) think running around (not flying mind you) and acting like idiots is the way life should be (perfect example is jumping like fools near my sensor lights at night to turn them on and eat the moths that come flying)? It is Fall…
