One of the largest banking groups in Germany, DZ Bank Group, has resumed operations with Russian banks.
According to the Handelsblatt newspaper, this was reported by one of the board members. The group includes more than 800 local banks.
The Ganee group suspended payment transactions with Russian banks after the start of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine.
“However, for about seven weeks we have been accepting payments from Russia again, but on condition that companies or persons under sanctions do not participate in them,” the source said.
